I had torn ligaments in my forearm quite badley and it was bothering me for quite a while. I Finally got referral from my family doctor to see a specialist.Joy and her staff were very prompt and courteous. They were very proactive in ordering and reviewing my xrays and accommodating in regards to fitting me in for treatments on my crazy schedule. I would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking for RESULTS. The new location looks Great.If there was an option for 10 stars, I would give them in a heartbeat;)

I started going to Lifemark after a half knee replacement. I had attended a different place just after but had not been able to get where I needed to be physically. I was unable to straighten the knee or climb stairs properly. I met with Joy and Michelle to be assessed. Both ladies made me feel welcome and helped me see the importance in a good program. After lots of work and lots of talks with Michelle, she has helped me surpass my goals of confidence, strength and movement. After my shoulder surgery Joy came highly recommended to me, and I can see why! I’ve been working with Joy for several weeks - she knows her stuff and pushes you enough to get results but not too much. Your program will be specific to your needs and you will see improvements as long as you follow her instructions (including some at home work). I had my follow-up with my surgeon recently and he was very impressed with my recovery progress > he said “tell your physiotherapist they’ve been doing an amazing job!”. The facility is nice, booking reminders are appreciated, and staff are supportive & friendly. I’m grateful to be working with Joy @ Lifemark King West location (Oshawa).

I'm not sure of their services inside as it was my wife that went in. From my experience they have enough parking the building accommodates many services. The one thing is there don't have a big sign outside. So we drove by the place the first time and didn't even know it.

Went here in February two days after a car accident because it was recommended by my insurance company. WORST experience ever. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My first appointment there was no signage outside. So naturally we drive right by several times even though gps kept saying “you’ve arrived”. Tried calling the number listed in google and when you click on the number it dials a private cell phone. When I finally found the place tried to explain to the “receptionist” about the phone number and she was so vacant. Didn’t acknowledge anything I said and brushed me off. Met with the physiotherapist and quite frankly he was more concerned about charging my insurance company for assistive devices instead of focusing on the pain I was in and the fact that I was just in a really bad accident and pregnant. How can you prescribe devices after a 10 minute meeting?? Decided not to write them off quite yet and went to the second appointment. Same horrible experience. The receptionist wanted me to PRE-SIGN charge forms for my insurance and when I asked what I was signing she said “we don’t like chasing people” that’s all fine but I would like to know why I’m signing BLANK forms with no explanation of the charges. And if you question them you get attitude and she turns away from you. Now almost 6 months later I received a threatening email from them that they’ve been trying to contact me and all the horrible things they will do if I don’t contact them. I received ONE missed call from them in May which I obviously didn’t answer because I figured they just wanted to try and get me back into their office. NO voicemail was left. I love that I don’t delete my missed call history so I have the proof that they called ONCE to “rectify” this now urgent matter even though the receptionist is claiming she’s called me many times. Like I said, WORST OFFICE EVER.

I researched several PTs in the area, and came across Lifemark with Joy and her team. They have tremendous experience and knowledge. I found all the Professionals at the LifeMark in Oshawa East to be a remarkable group, especially Michelle, Joy and Sabrina. When arriving the first day Joy, (The Director), took the time to review my situation in great detail and made me feel very comfortable at their facility. From there I met Michelle, (A Kinesiologist) , who was to be the main adviser of my program. Each and every day over the length of my program Michelle was always positive and encouraging to me. She has a great deal of knowledge in her field, which during my time there, I found very beneficial, I highly recommend her . I also had the opportunity to receive some coaching with Sabrina, (The Occupational Therapist), her many suggestions have also been very useful at this time. If at any time someone has the opportunity to go to this facility for assistance to get back on the right track, I Very Highly Recommend this Group in Oshawa.
