Sree Akula is amazing! I've been looking for a new massage therapist and recently was told that I should see an osteopath as well for some back issues I've been having. My mother-in-law recommended Sree, who is registered not only as a massage therapist and osteopath, but a physiotherapist as well. I booked an appoint with him right away and have been back every week since! I cannot stress how amazing it is having someone who is trained in all three areas! For my appointments he does massage at the beginning, then ends with some manipulation, stretches and osteopathic techniques, then shows me the stretches to work on on my own. I've been putting my body through a lot of stress lately and I don't know if I would have gotten through without his help. My back feels better than it has in a long time. My headaches are gone. He really is phenomenal at what he does and he is a very kind, friendly person. I highly recommend him!

I have had several sessions of lymphatic drainage over time with Sree, along with post fracture physiotherapy rehab at Speers Road Physiotherapy Clinic, and I have seen an amazing recovery. Sree is a physio, osteopath and massage therapist, and he specialises in lymphatic drainage, which is great for me! My swelling has now reduced, caused by 6 weeks in a cast, post fibula fracture. Sree is at the forefront of treatment and techniques, and is very skilled and knowledgeable in his applications. I am now almost back to walking normally again!

I've been going to Speers Road Physiotherapy with Sree for only 2 weeks for Gunn IMS, and massage therapy and I can already see an improvement for my chronic pain, and mobility. I have recently been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and myofascial pain syndrome and I could barely walk without intense electrical pain shooting down my legs. Within a few treatments, my pain level is reduced when walking and going up stairs and I can walk a further distance than I could a few weeks ago. I highly recommend Sree, he is compassionate, very professional and has such a wide range of treatment modalities to work with. Sree is excellent at massage therapy, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with him through my recovery process. As a former massage therapist, and reflexologist, I know a good massage when I get one, and Sree is fantastic. Perhaps the best praise I could give Sree is that I was just told, after a follow-up with my surgeon, that I’m recovering much better than expected and have been upgraded from unlikely to likely to make a full recovery. Sree is personable, professional and knowledgeable. I particularly appreciate that the care is one on one and you’re not in a clinic with a dozen people. This is especially relevant with Covid being a concern. Pretty much every time I’ve gone it’s straight into a private room. My sister recommended Speers Road Physiotherapy after I suffered a workplace injury 8 months ago in July. WSIB had me attending physio 3 times a week in the assessment phase of a significant rotator cuff injury and then again after surgery in December. Speers Road Physiotherapy does direct billing so I haven’t had to outlay any money or bother with paperwork. I highly recommend Sree and Speers Road Physiotherapy.

The treatments I have received from Sree Akula at the Speers Rd Physiotherapy Clinic have allowed me to be far more mobile again. I was experiencing hip pain earlier this year which would occur suddenly, sometimes mid-stride. When I met with Sree, he took a full history of my various and sundry joint problems and with some probing revealed that I had deep pain in each hip which I had been ignoring. Sree personally handles all treatment and, from all the certificates on the wall from around the world, clearly has the experience and expertise needed. I can attest to the results. His treatment consisted of physio-massage, ultra-sound, laser treatment and e-stim as well as prescribing an exercise regimen. Twice a day I had two sets of 10 repetitions. Difficult at first. Then he introduced resistance bands and I have graduated to the next level now. Result - I can walk easily and rarely have pain in the hips. I have no problem sleeping on either side. He has also helped with my knees and hands. Further, he recommended a type of stationary exercise bicycle given my joint concerns but desire to bicycle again and this too is working out well. I also have travel plans this year and mobility is critical. Thanks to Sree (and the exercises), I have no concerns. I must also mention Sandra who is a delight and runs the office for Sree with lots of enthusiasm and ideas. She has arranged for direct payment of my benefits and sends reminders for all appointments and is a very positive person. This has been a longer post than I expected but I do very highly recommend Sree given my improvement. It is great to have a hands on professional who can deliver results. My constant shoulder pain is gone! There is a lot of repetitive movement at my job and over time my shoulder specifically giving me a lot of pain. To the point I was having trouble sleeping. I was already going to a physiotherapy and all that was doing was helping me manage the pain, but there pain was still there. It wasn’t until talked to a coworker who told me about GUNN IMS/ dry needling treatment, I should try it. Long story short my left arm feels a lot better and have no trouble sleeping anymore. Let’s put it this way, I live in Brampton and drive to Oakville for the treatment. The physio therapist Sree also has an excellent bedside manner. He asks many questions and will suggest different therapies you may not have tried in the past. For example since I'm on my feet all day, I developed Plantar fasciitis. I felt like I was walking on pins and needles when I would get up in the mornings. He suggested sports taping my feet, and it helped dramatically. I would and have suggested this physio therapist to family, friends and coworkers.

With his expertise my son is now able to rotate his head fully and is now working on his tilt. My son is now able to progress with lifting his head which was a big issue with his condition.
