This is a great place . You are treated so well and made to feel welcomed by all the staff. I have been seeing Ashleigh Whiffen for physio & am very pleased with my improvements in a short time. He treats his patients like friends & has shown a genuine care. He is truly 'in tune' with his patients. I would highly recommend him. The wait time here is minimal. They are in a good location & the clinic is always clean. Here you will find the absolute friendliest staff ever. If you don't have a smile when you go in, you'll certainly have one when you leave. In my opinion, you simply can't ask for better care.

They go above and beyond to help us make comfortable during treatment. Their knowledge of techniques is outstanding. Ashleigh does dry needling therapy as part of the PT regimen, which made a big difference. If he is not around, the other staff member are equally knowledgeable and helpful. These treatments and exercises are so important for any woman after giving birth. Angie makes sure you know exactly what is going on and explains every detail. And then works with you on the exercises to make sure you are doing them correctly. All the staff are all so friendly, they all make the environment great!

I have worked at another clinic here in town, between two clinics in Newfoundland, and covered at three physiotherapy clinics in Edmonton during the evacuation. I've had nerve and muscle pain in my hamstring region that has been chronic since a major car accident over 2 years ago. I would need frequent breaks to stretch on a drive to Edmonton, and as a coach and high level basketball referee, the injury had a significant impact on my quality of life, and ability to perform. Ashleigh Whiffen has been a healer and took the time to truly understand my injuries. Being a former multi-sport university athlete, having been exposed to many therapists, my treatment with Accel exceeds all. Visiting Accel is like going to see old friends, I've never felt cheated out of treatment, and in dozens of sessions I've left satisfied. As our local basketball officials association president, a baseball academy instructor, and an educator, this clinic comes highly reccomend from colleagues, families, and athletes. Thank you Asheligh, Ang, and the Accel family for helping heal an injury I believed I'd be dealing with for the rest of my life.

Very busy and not a relaxing atmosphere. Had to wait 10 mins into my appointment until I was brought in and didn't get much time with my therapist as he was tending to other clients. One of the therapists was talking so loud the whole place can hear which was pretty annoying

Been seeing Rob macswain. All I can say is simply amazing!!! Switched to Accel when I was not happy with some of the other results I was getting from another physio place in Edmonton. I fractured my ankle and needed Orif surgery and required couple of pins and a plate. I was worried about returning back to running and strenthing it. I would get a dull shoot pain around the ankle when I did single calf raises or tried to run. With his knowledge and experience I was able to make a full recovery in a very short time. It's not just some normal physio. It's someone who has a great knowledge of what they are doing to help you rebuild yourself. I don't really do much of these reviews but I was so impressed with results. Thank you Rob and Accel physio!!! I will recommend Accel to anyone now. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I have been going to Accel for approximately 2 years they are amazing, they helped provide pre-op care and assessments for knee surgery from a 23 year injury. They are now providing the post-op care from knee surgery and with every treatment it has been one step closer to full recovery, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable but most importantly they listen!! I've had the pleasure of being treated by a therapist from the Timberlea location as well as a therapist from the Macisland location. One last extra bonus to mention you can book and change all appointments online and they send you a reminder via email the day before so you can book far in advance.

My surgeon (Dr Manelescu) recommended Rob to work on my hand after two surgeries to repair a broken bone. Not disappointed at allegations ! Gone from completely unable to use my ring and pinkie fingers to nearly full use after only three months (3 days a week). The environment is great as well. The staff and clients all interact and have FUN while helping clients. Don't be surprised if one of the staffers busts into song if something good comes in the radio. They are very realistic about personal goals and didn't promise me anything they didn't deliver. I have more use of my hand than I was expecting. Definitely choose Accel!

Off and on throughout the past 6 years, Ashleigh has treated many of my injuries. (He's probably getting sick of me by now) The most recent one has been in my lower back. When it comes to spinal issues, my first thought is Chiropractor so that's what I tried at first this time, like I typically would. It didn't even cross my mind that physio would be a better solution for my injury. However, after my back was not improving seeing the chiropractor, I turned to physio. Ashleigh is very good at diagnosing and he's a walking encyclopedia when it comes to how your body works. He was very quick to figure out where and what he needed to concentrate on. I wasn't able to get out of bed for the past 6 months without warming myself up for a good 5 min before I swing my legs over the edge. I couldn't believe how good I felt the day after Ashleigh treated/adjusted my back, it was a night and day difference. I have some mobility back and not as much pain in my lower back. Almost able to swing my legs over the edge as soon as I wake up now, only after 2 treatments. I cannot say enough good stuff about him, he's truly an amazing physiotherapist. He's the real deal. Keep in mind if you need a spinal adjustment, he's worth a try! He doesn't just do an adjustment, he concentrates on the connective tissues and works on those too. (Which is usually the source of most back problems) It's more of a one-stop-shop and I highly recommend keeping him in mind. Thanks Ashleigh, you keep me feeling young.

If anyone is looking for RMT, consider him before moving to anyone else. The only down side is that it is not easy to get his appointment.

Saw Rob for torn shoulder. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable he gave out a lot of information and encouraged questions. I don't do acupuncture or dry needling after notifying him it was not an issue, he will tailor your appointment to what you need. Been going for about 8 weeks shoulder hasn't felt better since injury. Facility and support staff are also super helpful and friendly. Very good experience here.
