I have been to several physiotherapists for both injuries and chronic pain. This clinic is by far the best! The team coordinate care and are all compassionate, knowledgeable and personable. They educate as they work (none of the others bothered) which has been really helpful. Nadeem is outstanding and really listens to your feedback. I'm so happy I found this place!!

Physio ..with Ankor She will find muscles and ligaments you didnt know you had Chiro with dr Jesse..OMG ..again let her realign your body.. Edit: the doctor gave me a call shortly after I posted this review. She mentioned that she was unable to call until now because of a personal emergency, and that she had no idea the clinic had misinformed me regarding the payment. She apologized and offered to mail me a cheque to give me a full $100 refund. Although this doesn't change the fact that the clinic provided very disappointing customer service, I am glad the doctor owned up to her clinic's mistake and put in the effort to make up for it. Original Review: I would not recommend this clinic to friends and family. I'm surprised that they have such high reviews. - They are rarely on time for appointments. I often had to wait 5~10 minutes, occasionally up to 30 mins. Sometimes my session time is shorter than the wait time - Immediately after the physiotherapist starts my treatment, assistants would come look for them because another patient needs their attention. They answer "ok I'll be there in a minute" when they just literally begun my therapy after I had to wait past my appointment time. Often times the clinic was understaffed and the sessions seemed rushed. - The reassessment conversation with a doctor went like this: "how is your neck pain?" "I don't have any pains" "ok, I'll put down 'minor improvement' for that." Gave me an impression that they are writing their reports in the way that they can get additional insurance coverage approved. - Very unclear about what I need to pay for and what's covered by insurance. Had to pay $100 out of pocket for something that was initially explained to me that I just have to "pay first and then insurance will reimburse you." After I signed the release form, received the treatment device and went to the receptionist to pay, I was told that insurance only covers 80%. I told them that this was not explained to me clearly and that I should be informed explicitly BEFORE I sign anything. I was told the Doctor will call me to possibly 'make an exception' and 'give me a discount.' It's been two weeks since I've been told this, and I have not gotten a call yet. Overall very disappointed in their customer service and their lack of respect for their patients. Punctuality and honesty should be bare minimum requirements for any business and this clinic fails to meet those.

Anker, what a gal. Very professional and attentive. Listens to all concerns and welcomes ideas and comments. This woman generally cares about you and will do anything to get you back to your normal if not improved life. Currently working on recovering from an ACL and meniscus surgery with her, and she has been an exceptional asset in my journey to get back to playing Football on the pitch using a variety of effective methods which have put me ahead of where I'm supposed to be. Definitely check her out if you're looking for a quality physiotherapist.

I would highly recommend this place, staff are friendly and professional. And my chiropractor Dr. S is the best! She makes my neck and back pain goes away and provides lots of tips. Also did a few massage sessions at here and it was good too. They check temperature and sanitize the bed before ans after each patient. The building has elevator so it is wheelchair accessible as well.

I've had an amazing and outstanding experience at HealthMax physiotherapy. Dr.Somanath is very professional and patient, she does not only cure the problem areas but also goes in depth to analyse the causes of the problem and try to devise some exercises to fix it she helped me recover from back and neck pain while I was pregnant and after I gave brith I was having issues with inflammation in my feet, she took the time to explain the benefits of the treatment along with the exercises need to strengthen my muscles every week. I highly recommend her service and office to anyone!

I went to this clinic with very little hope of getting better, but within three sessions I felt that I got my life back and I could overcome the pain. Anke is an amazing Physiotherapist, she is very professional, caring and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I hate people touching me but Anke's hands are magic. My pain in my lower back is slowly dissolving and going away and I highly recommend Anke to anyone who is in pain and feeling desperate like me. Dr. Somanath is amazing! I had lower back pain for the past 2 years which is slowly moving down my legs and this was starting to affect my lifestyle. Dr. Somanath took her time and explained throughly how my form for exercises could be improved and the exercises she had recommended for me has also helped me alot. She uses various techniques to relieve my lower back pain. The adjustments she did were just perfect. After 2 sessions I see a great improvement in my lower back. I highly recommend her.

Rehab for post-surgery L5/S1 microdiscectomy. From the moment I walked in to the clinic, the staff have been friendly. My physiotherapist Nadeem is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He understands the nature of my surgery and my treatment plan thus far has been excellent. He has been supportive of my needs and has provided various treatment options and exercises that have been a great help with my recovery. He also referred me to Dr. Somanath for acupuncture treatment. Dr. S has been so helpful and her treatment plan has been very beneficial for my recovery. I’ve had chronic pain for 30 years, I’ve seen many clinics, doctors, hospitals, specialists and this is by far the most versatile, accommodating, friendly clinic I have been too. Physiotherapist Nadeem is very thorough, friendly, you can tell he truly wants to help you, he will give you exercises to do on your own to help you with your pain relief. He also feels comfortable referring you to other treatments, if it is going to help you. The great thing about this clinic is they offer different options for pain relief, all in one location. Chiropractor Dr. Somanatha is very good and let’s you know that Chiropractic isn’t all about cracking, it can be manipulation and relief is the main focus at Healthmax. As she says you will have a “love hate relationship”. After a treatment from her I feel so relaxed and know that my pain is being treated. I highly recommend this clinic if you feel like you need pain relief, they care.

So, I have been through quite a few clinics and the staff here, have been by far the best, I have worked with. I have had the pleasure of being treated At the North York, location with Dr. Somanath, Physiotherapist Anker G and my PTA Rachel T. Since I have been admitted at this clinic for my recovery, the staff have not only treated me as a patient, but also like a friend. So, they don't only see me as a income/money, but they genuinely are trying to get me better, as soon as possible and as best as possible. Where, as most places just want to keep you for as long as possible. They are very professional and and knowledgeable in what they're doing and do they're best to work with you and get you the best treatment plans. And, as busy as they get, I have never had to wait longer than 5 mins past my appointment time. Also, when they are working on you, you have their full and undivided attention. If you are looking at the reviews of this clinic, I would strongly recommend this place, as I would recommend my friends and family here as well.

I’ve been in and out of different treatment facilities since an accident in 2018. I was left with TMJ disorder which flipped my life upside down. I felt like I’d finally given up hope until starting at health max Phyiso. Every single physician in this clinic, even Winona who books my appointments are the kindest people I’ve ever met. In less then 4 months my jaw has made more improvement then it has in the last 4 years of going to different physicians. I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. The physicians know their jobs very well, and are able to attend to all your physical pain needs. I use to dread going into my appointments every week until I found health max. It’s very rare that you meet a group of physicians who actually care about their patients. I don’t feel like the odd one out, the vulnerable one there for treatment.
