I feel the need to post and thank Dr. Bahareh Haj Ghanbari for her truly miraculous healing skills. I was incapacitated and in pain due to back strain (I was simply picking something up from the floor and my back gave out). Although I have a periodic history of back problems, I have never experienced such a quick alleviation of symptoms. She has advanced training in physiotherapy techniques and I couldn’t recommend her more strongly.

I first started seeing Tia when I was injured and was astonished by how fast her technique and expertise eased my pain. After intensive Physio she taught me how to manage my pain so I can live my day to day with minimal pain. That was over 8 years ago! Now, whenever I get a flare up the first person I go to is Tia. She is a phenomenal physiotherapist! Tia and the entire team are extraordinary folks.

I've been under the care of Abeed Hirji at Lifemark for concussion/post concussion syndrome related issues. He is a thorough professional. I had seen other (and more expensive) practitioners who presented themselves as experts in the concussion/vestibular field and the difference was night and day. He is passionate about his field of expertise and it shows. As anyone suffering with PCS (or vestibular related issues) can attest, it is a slow process to recovery but he gives you the tools to cope, ensures every issue has been investigated and provides reassuring support along the way. I wish I had found him at the on-set. Staff are very attuned and empathetic/accommodating too. Thanks Abeed. "I don't want to get better, I want to BE better!"

My mom had a lot of sessions with Marcel with no results to the point that we were convinced she should live with this pain! I took her to a physio in downtown Vancouver while she was staying with us and after a couple of sessions we see tremendous improvement! Mom describes it as a totally different physio approach! So my recommendation is if you do not have the tools to treat someone please refer it to another professional who cam do something different or at least try something different! Nice guy but we spent a lot of money and we are unhappy!

From the receptionists to the therapist I can say this was a great experience. Having broken most of my extremities at one time or other I have had the misfortune of attending many different physio clinics over the years and Sanaz was if not the best therapist one of the best I've encountered. The treatments were varied and changed at times to address my problems as such I was able to get back to a good fitness level with my injury and have the knowledge of which exercises will enable me to maintain a healthy injury free life. Highly recommend Lifemark!
