This Physiotherapist belongs to the category of Physical therapist.
Great people at this clinic, however, this place is considerably overpriced.
I was not too impressed with the intake process here. I've been to several RMT and PT clinics in the past, and medical history is always taken before the appointment and reviewed on the practitioner's own time. As a medical professional myself, I take patient histories to ensure I provide the best treatment to my patients, however, the time it takes to ensure I can do my job effectively is never deducted from the patient's treatment time. I was disappointed that the 20 minutes required to gather my complex medical history, in combination with starting late, left me with less than 40 minutes for the 60 minute massage I had paid for. I don't believe patients with complex medical histories should be penalized by having their much needed treatment time reduced, while someone with no medical history would get the full 60 minutes. It's nonsensical. I also don't understand why lymphatic massage is more expensive, and not eligible for promotions, while a deep tissue massage is. It is certainly less labour intensive and does not appear to require more skill than a swedish style massage, so it must just be another way for the medical profession to take advantage of cancer patients (who may not even have private insurance coverage). I will not be returning to this clinic.
Maryam is a fantastic physiotherapist. From the first session itself with Maryam I felt much better and relieved. Maryam is always punctual, listens to all my concerns and answers all my questions.
I am a breast cancer survivor. Lindsay, Lucy and Cynthia have all been amazing to work with through my recovery. If you are looking for a physiotherapist and/ or massage therapist who has a good understanding of lymphedema I highly recommend Lindsay and Lucy. Both of them are very knowledgeable,, compassionate and helpful.
This clinic is predatory, and does not have its patients' best interests at heart. I was experiencing severe lower back pain and made an appointment with a physiotherapist at Toronto Physiotherapy. Before I even arrived, the receptionist mentioned over the phone that it could be a pelvic issue instead, which is a more expensive treatment. When I showed up for my appointment I was given a pelvic exam intake sheet instead of back pain. When I questioned this I was told it was "just in case it turns out to be a pelvic issue". When I saw the physiotherapist I started to explain what had happened around the time of the injury, and what I think may have caused it. Before I was able to finish what I was saying the physiotherapist diagnosed the injury as a pelvic issue, performed a treatment, and gave me exercises for my pelvis. I was suspicious about being pushed towards a pelvic issue so many times, so I got a second opinion. It turns out the fluid in one of the discs in my spine has been comprised, and as a result the disc has become permanently damaged, and was pushing against a nerve in my spine that ran down my leg (causing pain). Had I continued treatments at Toronto Physiotherapy and trusted their diagnosis, I would still be unaware of this serious injury and would likely cause even more damage to my spine, while wasting my time and money on pelvic treatments. I have a physical job so I think this bears repeating: If I had trusted Toronto Physiotherapy I would currently be doing permanent, irreversible damage to my spine. This clinic cannot be trusted. There are better places in this city that are not only less expensive, but actually care enough for their patients to take the time to make a correct diagnosis.
They resolved my issue ????
Always very friendly, and extremely competent reception service. Physiotherapist Cynthia is a lifesaver especially for those of us willing to do the exercises and for whom acupuncture works. The deep massage with Olivia who knows exactly how much pressure is needed is an excellent pain reducer.
Before I came to Toronto Physiotherapy I was ready to give up on rigorous training due to several long term issues, but Rebecca developed a program that allowed me to get back to my fitness goals and to be pain-free! Rebecca really cares about her patients, is very passionate, driven, does a lot of research between sessions and tries to find the most tailored/effective and individual solutions for each problem. She has a holistic approach and can figure out the underlying root causes of injuries, asymmetries or muscle weaknesses that lead to chronic pain or reinjury and then treat them. If you want bespoke quality from your physiotherapist – I highly recommend working with Rebecca Tomasi!
We visit Susan for Massage Therapy and highly recommend her and this clinic. Great customer service. Nice clean space.
Toronto Physiotherapy has wonderful staff, amazing atmosphere and competitive rates for mid-town Toronto. Megan (office manager/reception) is most pleasant, efficient and accommodating. Robyn Rubinger (physiotherapist) is a talented, kind, thorough individual who goes to great lengths to get you the help and support you need. She believes in trying any equipment on herself before endorsing and her positive easy going attitude makes therapy seem like fun. I can't say enough good about Toronto Physiotherapy and referred almost my whole office to the clinic.
Fantastic physio treatment, very thorough in assessing my problem.
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Pennell, the chiropractor. Her hands are magical and we have both seen incredible improvement. I love her approach. She's not focused on cracking, that's used as a last resort. Her hands are strong and she really knows how to relieve tension. I went in for an ankle sprain, plantar fascitis, and neck/shoulder pain. She is a miracle worker. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
Jodi Arnott at Toronto Physiotherapy is a caring, excellent therapist, she taught me exercises that have kept me pain free. The clinic is a friendly, welcoming place and I highly recommend it.
This is an amazing place! I had 2 physiotherapy sessions with Kelly and then a few massage sessions with Susan. Omg, each time I left the place as if I was born again. These people really love what they do! I'll definitely come back for more!
My work with Lindsay Davey has been integral to my ongoing treatment and recovery. Her knowledge and skill are fantastic. However, I think it is her personality, her way with those of us, (or at least with me) who have gone through this process that has been really healing. There is something about her aftercare that provides acknowledgement, validation, understanding and support as we come out of this process. I am very grateful to her for so much. I am both a physician and patient and I would highly recommend her work. In addition, her staff are lovely.
I can't say enough about Say at Toronto Physiotherapy! After living in a cast for a month due to a complex foot fracture, I honestly forgot what it felt like to walk normally and without pain -- two appointments later with Say and things feel amazing. Mobility has improved tenfold, and the stiff, sore feeling I had for two weeks after getting out of my walking cast is completely gone. She rocks at what she does! Plus, the studio itself is a clean and bright space and booking my first appointment was a breeze.
Fantastic team, great environment and very helpful
Knowledgeable, friendly, and in a bright, state-of-the art clinic.
Great service! I started to go to this place 1.5 years ago when my back injury was caused by a yoga instructor. I procrastinated and became dreadful to get treatment because I was nervous that another person would make it worse. When it became unbearable, I contacted this place and I never looked back since! I always book my appointment with Sayaka. She's always very patient, knowledgable, and super fun to talk to. I highly recommend this place!
I have now been to the clinic for two different problems and both were addressed expertly within 2-3 visits. Sai conducts a very thorough work up to assess the problem and in both cases, her insight enabled me to know what movements/sports to avoid or not avoid. I like that she advocates movement and staying active. The clinic is well organized, has access to parking and runs on time. It's also a nice space filled with nice people. You can't really ask for more. Reasonably priced too.
Fantastic clinic! Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. My phsyio, ST, helped fix my wonky left knee. Will definitely recommend.
Very clean...physiotherapist was nice
Jodi is absolutely amazing. She is very knowledgeable and I would recommend this clinic to anyone who has had an injury.
This is an amazing place! I had 2 physiotherapy sessions with Kelly and then a few massage sessions with Susan. Omg, each time I left the place as if I was born again. These people really love what they do! I'll definitely come back for more!
I have 10+ years of receiving physiotherapy in many different cities (for both chronic conditions and injury) and I’ve been at the Summerhill location for at least a couple of those years! The facility is always bright and spotless, decked out with equipment and Megan is a wonderful, friendly and professional receptionist. The personnel is hit and miss however, as with most clinics. At least three of the staff who I’ve worked with have moved on, some of whom I’ve continued with at new locations because I notice such results from their work. (RMT Karen!) Jodi is wonderfully knowledgeable and very honest about both prognosis for recovery and the best use of my time and money - while being patient with questions and learning. I’ve seen some very cool improvement working with her. Robyn is the only physiotherapist who I’ve ever decided to leave. She is clearly very driven and bright but prone to unprofessional and rude comments such as asking me to re-book so I could “seek her approval even more”. Or asking why I bothered to come to an appointment when I had a week that was so incredibly busy I couldn’t preform the given exercises. She admitted to most people “not understanding her humour” and I wrestled with continuing to work with her purely out of desire for treatment but decided that I was paying too much money out of pocket to be so uncomfortable with my own therapist. So! Ups and downs. Still a patient of this clinic because it’s been more good than bad and it takes time to find a medical professional who is right for you.
Great experience and got immediate results for a cording related injury.
At both clinics, the skilled, knowledgeable and professional care I have experienced has been probably the most important resource for managing the bodily changes of illness, accident and older age. Extensive specialized understanding of rehabilitative techniques, as well as consistent and genuine care and compassion---thank you!
Pleasant, helpful staff. Rebecca listened to me patiently and helped me work through my issues over several weeks. It's not magical but I can say that there has been an improvement in my condition and I'm very encouraged by the progress.
My experience with the Toronto Physiotherapy clinic was first rate. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The office was clean and well maintained. My physiotherapist was excellent and very accommodating. I am looking forward to going back for my next treatment. Thank you Toronto Physiotherapy for looking after me so well. Cheers, Jacqui
I first came to see Vaiva Underys at Toronto Physiotherapy this past spring. I'd just started running, and had made all the classic mistakes: too much too soon, bad/old shoes, and poor technique. As a result, my knees hurt so much I could barely walk. Vaiva gave me really excellent guidance - she talked to me about what was going wrong, showed me exercises to strengthen what needed strengthening, and set me up with a plan to get back to running without doing any more damage. Thanks in great part to Viava, I'm now running regularly. I ran my first 10k race a couple of weeks ago - couldn't have done it without her.
I am still visiting Toronto Physiotherapy but at their Danforth location. When I attended the Summerhill location, my physiotherapist was fantastic. She knew her stuff and was able to helped to take me from a wheelchair to being able to walk and run after a devastating motor vehicle accident. The clinic and its staff is very professional and was able to accommodate my many requests.
An awesome place! Say was very knowledgeable and professional Very good results from the treatments and well worth the visits Office staff are very efficient and scheduled visits very well! A great experience!
I've had a great experience with Toronto Physiotherapy! My physiotherapist Robyn was very good at communicating what we were working on, gave simple and helpful exercises for me to do on my own, and did a great job of keeping me steadily progressing with rehab on my knee injury. Megan at the front desk is also very friendly and helpful. Nice, clean and organized office. Highly recommended!
I attended a couple of sessions with a physiotherapist to help me heal from a tailbone injury. While I believe the clinic is well run and the physiotherapist would be good, I felt like he wasn't listening to what I was saying or taking my injury seriously. On the scale of injuries I know he sees clients with significantly more severe injuries, so I was hoping to get some helpful hints on how to heal my injury. I received very simple exercises that would put pressure on my tailbone which I believe is not helpful for an injury that requires you to not use your tailbone. I've stopped going to the clinic and found support elsewhere.
Great central location. Easy to get to. Great clinic space. Dr. Kelly Pennell is fantastic at assessing the problem and treating with a common sense approach using effective techniques without unnecessary adjustments. A few chiropractic treatments and you're good to go. For myself and my daughter athletic functioning is extremely important! Acute issues have been resolved and we return only when we need more treatment or just a tuneup. Thanks Kelly!
I highly recommend this clinic. All of the therapists I have worked with have been very knowledgeable and supportive. I have had noticeable improvement in my post-cancer lymphedema. As well, through physiotherapy they have helped me to reduce pain and regain overall strength and flexibility.
I had originally posted this as a review for the Danforth clinic, but my appointments were actually at the Yonge and St. Clair clinic, so I've posted it again here (with some improvements to my grammar). I recently went to Toronto Physiotherapy with a tricky and nagging ankle injury that just wasn't getting better. Lindsay was able to figure out the problem, treatment and "homework" plan to get me back into my weekend warrior routine. I've been to a few physiotherapists over the years, and they were all fine, but this was definitely the best experience I've had, hands down. Ready to get back out there in about 5 appointments... far fewer than I've ever experienced! I highly recommend giving them a call.
Excellent experience as Toronto Physiotherapy. Staff are amazing! Clinic is clean and well organized! Will definitely go again!
Great clinic with excellent service!
Lindsay and Lisa have been instrumental in helping me deal with complications from my cancer treatment. When I was searching for Lymphedema therapy, I chose Toronto Physiotherapy based on their excellent reviews and they have exceeded my very high expectations! They are both extremely knowledgeable, understanding and caring and have provided me with the information I need to manage and prevent the symptoms of Lymphedema. I am amazed by the significant improvement in a short time and grateful for their excellent care.
I found Rebecca very pleasant and she immediately made me feel at ease. She communicated very clearly and effectively. She was very careful in how she was treating me in order to not risk further physical injury or damage. Rebecca used various techniques and explained step by step what she was doing and what I should expect. This is my first experience with physiotherapy and I am grateful Rebecca was the one to help me. I would also like to mention that when I called to arrange my appointment with Megan, she was helpful, professional and very informative.
Lindsay is the absolute BEST!! She is the best physiotherapist in her field and, more importantly, she is the best person to have around during therapy! I was referred to Lindsay by the staff at the CIBC Breast Centre at St. Michael's Hospital at the end of my breast cancer treatment, which included a unilateral mastectomy and radiation. I didn't know what to expect at my first appointment, but Lindsay was fantastic! Her knowledge and expertise in breast cancer rehabilitation was immediately evident; she was able to detect some slight cording under my affected arm, performed massage techniques to ease the tightness in my radiated area and taught me at-home exercises to minimize the cording and to prevent lymphedema. Her knowledge of both cancer treatment and rehab, including manual lymphatic drainage, is unparalleled. Her dedication to continue to be a leader in her field is evidenced by the fact that she is regularly invited to speak at cancer-related support groups in the city. Her humour, compassion and professionalism keep me coming back to Toronto Physiotherapy for more! I have been back to see Lindsay multiple times now and, while I am looking forward to being rid of the cording and tightness in my radiated chest, I will be sad to end my rehab with her because she is just that amazing of a person and therapist! I truly believe Lindsay plays a very important part of cancer rehab and should be included as part of everyone's cancer healthcare team!!
I highly recommend Toronto Physiotherapy (Summerhill location). As a cancer survivor I have varying health needs. All the staff (Kelly, Susan, Lisa, Cynthia, Megan) take the time to listen to my concerns and make thoughtful treatment suggestions that are tailored to my needs. They are professional, informed and kind.
Using an anonymous ID, I am here to post about Cynthia Chung. She was one of the worst physios I've had the displeasure of dealing with. She was cold, unresponsive and dismissive when I brought up my concerns. I found myself dreading to see her. I wish the management here would better vet the attitudes that some of their staff carry, as it deeply affects not only the client's view of the clinic, but physical therapy as a whole. I'm glad I summoned the energy to have moved onto a new physio and am actually enjoying my recovery now.
Lindsay Davey has changed my life. Not only is she a wonderful person, she is extremely knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to her practice, kind and generous with her time and her approach to healing. I completed treatment for breast cancer in February 2020. Among other things, part of this treatment included removing the lymphnodes in my underarm and radiation therapy. The surgeon and oncologists let me know that one of the side effects of both the lymphnode removal and radiation is lymphedema, and I had a 30% chance of this. What they didn't say was that lymphatic drainage massage could be an effective way to manage symptoms. I found Lindsay through digging around on the internet. Who knew that there were lymphatic drainage specialists out there?! And, I hope that everyone who needs this treatment finds her too. I feel grateful for meeting her and feel happy about a bright future without lymphedema!
Lisa Chau, at Toronto Physiotherapy, has been a "miracle worker" in dealing with cording and lymphedema issues that plagued me after a mastectomy, lymph node dissection and reconstruction using part of my back muscle. As well as gaining mobility and range of motion back in my arm, she has eliminated the pain and swelling that I had throughout the length of my arm and into my hand. Lisa has also educated me along the way in how to do lymph drainage massage on myself to prevent cording and swelling recurrences and in exercises to begin to strengthen my arm and back. Her knowledge of essential oils and natural products has guided me in creating an amazing, home-made scar cream, and her eagerness in researching cancer-related topics has provided me with information and peace of mind. Lisa's care and compassion has made all the difference for me as I move forward. Thank you!
In need of a physiotherapist I conducted a Google search. Criterion at the top of my list: a one-on-one treatment facility. Once on Toronto Physiotherapy's website I saw their "Ask a physiotherapist" invite, sent off an email describing my issues and received an impressive, in-depth response written by Lindsay Davey, physiotherapist and clinic director. I was delighted; a sentiment solidly cemented at my first appointment. The clinic has a bright, relaxed vibe with staff who obviously enjoy being part of the team. Receptionist Megan with her welcoming, warm demeanour was the perfect prelude to my therapist Robyn's friendly "let's-get-you-moving-again" approach. Robyn is aware of the psychological impact an injury can have on the psyche of a patient. She instills confidence with her clinical competence as well as her kind and caring manner. After just two treatments pain is reduced, mobility increased and I have new hope that Robyn will guide my body through the healing process of both a two year old elbow issue and a recent ankle injury. I absolutely recommend Toronto Physiotherapy. Thank you.
i was recommended to see Lindsey following my breast cancer mastectomy, chemo and radiation. i have literally seen at least 25 different doctors and therapists in my journey thus far (all for different post cancer issues I struggle with). Lindsay is by far the most compassionate and helpful of them all. she has great expertise in treating my lymphedema, hand neuropathy and frozen shoulder issues. she has gone far beyond her duties to help me get the right help for everything from deciding on reconstruction to mojor side effects from chemo. she is truly one in a million and is so concerned with getting me better. I am touched and very grateful for her care.
Great experience coming here for physiotherapy. Rebecca is knowledgeable and has been very helpful as a physiotherapist. Very kind staff and great facility. Highly recommend!
ATTENTION ALL MEN WITH INCONTINENCE! A Cure is now available at Toronto Physiotherapy. I am a prostate cancer survivor. Following the removal of my prostate, I suffered with incontinence for 9 years. Leakage down below. Uncomfortable - annoying - embarrassing - a big hassle. After a brief discussion with my Dr. Daughter-in-law, I was made aware of recent treatments including drugs and physiotherapy. I am not interested in taking drugs so I visited the Summerhill clinic of Toronto Physiotherapy and met my new hero - therapist Robyn Rubinger. After just one session I knew she was on the right track. After five weeks of rectal massages and home exercises, I can confidently say that my incontinence has subsided by 95%! Amazing! Old school methods are by going through a series of medical tests and exams leading up to invasive surgery...again. No thanks. New school is slightly uncomfortable physiotherapy by a charming young lady. Don't suffer any longer. It's more than worth your while to check this place out. You'll never regret it. They are miracle workers. I cannot thank them enough.
Cynthia is a wonderful therapist She is knowledgeable with many modalities and is very caring
I have had horrendous edema for about two years, calves and feet. In my entire life I have never encountered such a gifted healer as Cynthia Chung. She is like a martial arts sensei, serious, respectful, hands made of gold. My edema is shrinking, walk better, the pain is dissipating, she gives me hope. I exagerate not a whit, sleeping better. The whole team is exceptional, they are the New York Yankees of physio, A listers. So humbled to be in the shadow of greatness of Cynthia. I am 64 years old. You can't be more dedicated than her.I have known Cynthia for several years. The level of care she provides is extraordinary. I feel honoured to be treated by such a stellar and capable individual. She inspires a great deal of confidence, anyone treated by her is very lucky and is in very capable hands.
I have had the good fortune to be referred to and receive care for my lymphedema from Lindsay She was wonderfully positive, patient and provided excellence in everything she did. In the early days after surgery, I particularly appreciated being able to reach out and receive email guidance again given with an upbeat approach. It was important to me not to take advantage of that generosity. So grateful to have her as one of my Healthcare Professionals!
I am so thrilled to have found Toronto Physiotherapy! Everyone from the receptionists to the therapists are warm, friendly and most importantly professional. I always walk out feeling a million times better than I went in. I go to the Danforth location (LOVE Liz!) You will not be disappointed - go here! Now!
Everybody in the clinic is exceptionally helpful, kind and caring! Their knowledge and treatment approach exceeded my expectations and greatly improved my condition.
The clinic operates in a clean pleasant environment and the staff are friendly and professional. I saw a physiotherapist called Vaiva and she is highly skilled and helpful. My situation improved a great deal with her help.Always courteous and punctual too.
Superb facility. Cannot speak too highly of the quality of treatment.
I had knee replacement surgery a few months ago and had completed group physiotherapy session through a rehab centre. There was still work needed to my knee so I explored private physio options. I heard about Toronto Physiotherapy and decided to go with them. This was a good decision for me and I am pleased with results to-date. My physiotherapist, Leo Chau is professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. His expertise has helped me considerably with my knee recovery.
Personnel are extremely professional, personable, positive and treats everyone as individuals, and with dignity and respect. Clinic is immaculate and efficiently run. The Practitioners thrive on obtaining optimum results. I highly recommend this clinic.
Toronto Physiotherapy, Summerhill site, is a great clinic and I highly recommend it. Convenient location, friendly staff, excellent service, I never had to wait for my appointment. And Vaiva is awesome!
Lindsay and staff are friendly and efficient. The Yonge street office is clean, bright and well equipped. I have been working with Lindsay on my secondary lymphedema. She has been fantastic, and my condition continues to improve. I recommend Toronto Physiotherapy to friends.
Ms. Chrissie Kong (PT, DPT) provided physiotherapy sessions at my home several times weekly over a 3-month period following my hip replacement operation late 2016. Throughout our sessions, she was always on time, always positive, motivating, perceptive, encouraging and additionally, and importantly, a really nice person to be with. I made significant progression quickly because she clearly knew her stuff and loved her work. By week two, thanks to her expertise and efforts, I was able to graduate from walker to cane and by week six I was “cane-less” and back to work. My surgeon felt my advanced recovery was due, in large part, to the extensive, ongoing and smart physio direction I was receiving from Ms. Kong. Juggling my busy schedule between work, home and physio was so much more efficiently performed due to home visitation; hours of commute time to a clinic were eliminated. There was good return on this investment. I learned from my experience with Ms. Kong, how critically important it is to follow an aggressive program that evolves from relearning how to walk properly, to relearning one’s sense of balance, to rebuilding muscle mass through exercise. Every session advanced from the prior session. I heartily recommend Ms. Chrissie Kong to anyone with home based physiotherapeutic needs. Rob Young
I can't say enough about Sayaka. I went to a physiotherapist for the first time this year and was so disappointed by the assessment and treatment plan (a five minute assessment and heating pad) so I decided to try one more location to see if it would be the same before I threw in the towel. From the moment I booked the appointment at Toronto Physiotherapy, I knew it was different. The assessment was thorough and treatment plan was tailored to what I could do and what I needed. After speaking to others, Toronto Physiotherapy was unique in their one on one personal care provided. Say was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, funny yet professional. I didn't feel like a number and when I felt better, my treatment was over with some suggestions on how to move forward and contact them should the issue resume in the fiture. I would recommend them hands down to anyone and Sayaka is great. Tara
Jodi was very professional and outstanding in her training, I had a back problem with a herniated disc that was very painful, Jodi treated me and from the first session I felt the difference. I am very glad I was treated by Jodi and thanks to her now I can lead a normal life. Also Meghan at the front desk was lovely and very friendly.
informative, helpful and pleasant
Very professional and caring staff.
Nothing but great things to say about Toronto Physiotherapy. The staff is friendly, efficient and great at what they do. I've been using their services to proactively avoid Lymphedema symptoms for about 3 years and would highly recommend their services. A big thanks to Lisa for her knowledge and support. Lynne Barone
My physiotherapist, Rebecca Tomasi is great in helping me with mobility issues from knee and hip replacement surgeries caused by osteoarthritis. She is professional, very knowledgeable, pays attention to detail and is a very nice person. She is particularly patient and encouraging. I feel that Rebecca has helped me to improve my mobility. Also, thanks to Megan and Mary who are very pleasant and helpful in reception services.
Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff. Lindsay Davey is very knowledgeable and caring.
I have been going to Toronto Physiotherapy since my mastectomy 2.5 years ago. Lindsay is so knowledgeable on lymphedema and anything cancer related. She is great at celebrating the small victories and really seems to care for her patients. Since being diagnosed with cancer I have a lot of health care practitioner appointments and seeing Lindsay is one I look forward to. I would highly recommend Lindsay and Toronto Physiotherapy.
I have been seeing Jody Arnott, a wonderful physiotherapist, for about 4 weeks. She is helping me to recover from 2 broken elbows. She pushes me the right amount, and I see significant improvement each time I visit. She is excellent to work with.
A few years ago I was looking for Lymphedema Treatment and I came across the services of Toronto Physiotherapy and I have not looked back. I have used a number of the services they offer and everyone one of them has been effective and has exceeded my expectations on my way to healing. I have visited both locations and they are both very accessible as they are located on the subway line. The physiotherapist I dealt with were all very caring, and professional. I was truly lucky to have found this gem,
I started working with Lindsay and her team a little over a year ago after being diagnosed with lymphedema in my arm and they've been incredibly helpful in helping me learn how to treat and manage the condition. Everyone I've worked with is highly professional and pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend them!

Have been going to this wonderful Physiotherapy clinic for a few months. And my treatment has been fantastic. Lindsay has been instrumental in helping me with my physical condition & I have seen marked improvement. She is both professional & caring, listening to my concerns.. Clinic is well run. Appointments on time but never feel rushed. Lindsay is always supportive. From the moment you first telephone for an assessment appointment you feel heard & cared for. Highly recommend the caring professionals @ Toronto Physiotherapy..
Lyndsey is extremely knowledgeable, professional and has a great demeanor. After only two sessions we're seeing a significant difference in my condition. I feel well on my way to a full recovery! Many thanks....Oriana.
I felt very welcomed and well cared-for at Toronto Physiotherapy. A major plus that their services and rates are clearly stated on their website. I was very happy to find a lymphedema specialist that I trust!
Hi there, here are some of the key reasons I'd recommend Toronto Physiotherapy to fellow recreational and serious athletes: - Staff seem to understand athletes' needs, such as continuing to train while undergoing treatment; - Facility is well equipped, and staff were willing to demonstrate the recommended exercises themselves; - Bookings were easy, morning & evening times were available, and it wasn't difficult to incorporate the appointments into my regular training schedule. Cheers! Yui
The new Toronto Physiotherapy site is quite lovely, and the service and care are as amazing as ever. Lindsay is my go-to person whenever I have a relevant physical issue, and, as always, I left feeling much better and with the advice I needed to improve even more. She is amazing, as are the other practitioners my family members have seen. Maggi Redmonds
I’ve seen both Lindsay and Heather at Toronto Physiotherapy for treatment for Lymphedema after a lymph node dissection. Both of them are amazing! Lindsay is so upbeat and positive, and so knowledgeable. She taught me how to do self massage to help treat my condition before radiation and let me know what would be safe to do during treatment. Both she and Heather made me feel very comfortable. I saw Heather my second time there and she worked wonders! She broke up some cording from surgery, which made me so much more comfortable, and she brought down my arm swelling. Megan, the administrator is so nice, and will call when cancelled appointments pop up because the therapists get booked up so quickly it can be hard to get an appointment without a wait. The wait for appointments is the only downside, but it’s worth it. The office itself is very clean, fresh, and welcoming.
