We've got all the reviews of real people who are purchasing the products of St. Joseph's Care Group (Physiotherapist) in the territory of North Bay (Canada).

To this day the business receives a score of 3.5 over 5 and that rating was based on 16 reviews.

You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is quite good, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the evaluation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, it works.

As you know, we do not usually stop to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This organization has been in the news constantly for failing to meet even the most basic standards. They have had the managment of their facilities confiscated by the ministry of health multiple times. They fail to protect their employees and fail to provide for their residents. Their policies constantly put profits before care, just look up their wheelchair rental policy. The nurses and doctors try but they fight a losing battle and their staff turnover reflects that.

2020: Terrible, inconsistent, and unreasonable family visitation "policies" that harm the wellbeing and mental health of patients. (This impression was from seeing the experience of a close family friend trying to support a patient who has since been moved elsewhere due to the difficulties and pain cause by cruel and inconsistently applied, unscientific visitation policies. Yes, I understand the pandemic makes for hard choices, but the ones enforced seemingly at random in this instance were unnecessary.) Edited to add as of 2021: Other experiences with family members being treated here are mixed; many medical and other staff members seem caring and helpful, taking it upon themselves to reach out to a supporting family member for coordination, which is greatly appreciated. Also find visitation policies seem to have improved. Communication with family/care partners on the whole is sometimes disorganized and unclear, which can make supporting a patient more stressful. Also I think all staff and volunteers should be required to be masked - acrylic shielding is insufficient against the airborne spread of covid.

My father was provided rehab care then his health failed. He then received end of life care. Everything was done in a caring professional atmosphere. Equipment doesn't make a hospital good. It's the staff. St Joe's rules in TBay.

This is where the regional and other places in the Thunder Bay District send people to die. Say what you will but their care is terrible, the staff is negligent, inexperienced and slow to act on anything. They don't provide the information you need even when you ask and whenever something bad happens they downplay it to try to make themselves look good. Nurses and care givers do not coordinate and know next to nothing about the patients they are assigned to. A day or a week or so later the care takers are rotated out and the cycle continues. Evidence of negligence and inefficiency... Ask anybody in Thunder Bay about the care in this place and you'll get mixed, opinionated reviews. My experiences with this place (as well as other people's experiences) are negative. Do yourselves a favor readers; Investigate this place thoroughly and save yourselves and each other further heart ache.

I'm hoping I could benefit from the opportunity, if I, Conrad Bannon, am accepted. I am willing to give you all my time and energy to help better myself through your process and practices.
