I have been struggling with my knee for past couple of months after injuring it playing soccer. My doctor recommended physio but I couldn't find time to make it out to a clinic. Luckily, Therapia was recommended as a service [from a friend] and amazingly they provided at home physio. After three sessions and some acupuncture, my knee feels like its 20 years younger. Therapia was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. My physiotherapist was extremely thorough and concise and the customer service made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.

Received treatment for Vertigo. Andrea was able to come same day as I called for appointment. It is a difficult treatment for the patient but Andrea Sarginson was very professional and reassuring always checking before taking next steps. Timely with appts (or immediately contacts if delayed) and keeps in touch between appts to check progress. Second appt less dramatic for me as patient and progress has been steady since then. May not need a third treatment. Andrea continues phone follow up. Great to have house call especially as wasnt sure how I would get to an appt elsewhere with my dizzyness. Office admin is very efficient from initial call right through billings and receipts. If I had any concerns initially, I am convinced it was excellent value. Henry is not just extremely professional and experienced in dealing with post surgical recovery (I broke both ankles and the fibula bone) but is also very personable and attentive. He listens to you, creates an exercise program that he adjusts based on capability, and has you set targets to work towards (which he sometimes ends up remembering better than you do...) I would highly recommend Henry to anyone considering home visits from a physiotherapist. Through this very painful and inconvenient period this has been a positive and reassuring experience.

My wife had hip replacement surgery a week ago and we weren’t sure how well her recovery was progressing. Things seemed slower than the hospital had suggested and her first visit back to the hospital was still a week away. Saro came to our house yesterday. He listened to my wife’s history and asked a number of questions. He then watched her using her walker, doing some of her exercises and getting in and out of bed. He helped correct some mistakes, checked the swelling and most importantly provide reassurance on how she was doing. And honestly his help and attention exceeded what we had received in the hospital. Erin is my physiotherapist and she has been a lifesaver. She was there for me every step of my rehabilitation after not one but two Hip FAI impingement surgeries. She has also help me with my frozen shoulder and neck pain. Now that I am feeling stronger she is working with me to set up an exercise program to keep the progress going.This is an essential service for anyone recovering from orthosurgery or in need of excellent physiotherapie in the comfort of their home or over Zoom.

I just had knee reconstruction surgery and was worried about getting down stairs after the operation. I booked an appointment with therapia and they were very helpful in being able to handle my stairs after surgery. I'm going to use Therapia until I'm able to use the hospitals physiotherapist when I get enough range of motion to do so. Until then I'm going to use therapia for the first few weeks of physiotherapy rehabilitation after surgery. I'd strongly suggest that anyone who needs knee,hip or ankle surgery to get therapia in to help them pre-surgically. Therapia is great and well needed in the Health care system.

Nadia Ramnauth provided physiotherapy to my elderly mother for back and leg pain. Nadia is very experienced and gentle especially with senior citizens as I've seen with my mother. My mother's first language is not english so Nadia was very patient and clear when talking to her. She provided step by step exercise instructions and went thru each one to show her how to do them. She followed up on each visit as to how the exercises were working and modified them as necessary. Thru the exercises and phisio provided by Nadia my mother's pain became more manageable. I highly recommend Nadia's services. She is very positive, very calm and an effective physiotherapist. Nadia is in the east end so location was perfect for my mother.

My surgeon’s suggestion was to try therapia. The results have been most positive. I recently had a hip arthroscopy to repair damage in my left hip. Therapia’s information was given to me by my surgeon, and upon contacting them, they got back to me immediately. They were very courteous and kind when setting up my appointment, and they went through what situation I was in thoroughly to match me with someone that would best fit my recovery and physio. Jez is the therapist I saw, and after one session I was thoroughly impressed! He was punctual, knowledgeable, and personable. He took the time to go over each exercise with me, so that I could continue working on the exercises in between sessions and do them safely. If there was an exercise I was having trouble with, he had a modified or alternate exercise I could do instead. As well, he explained the reasoning behind each exercise and the muscles / areas they targeted. As someone who worked out a lot before my injury, I appreciated him letting me know why we were doing each exercise, and explaining how I would see each muscle group get stronger over time. After all of that he still got in a good amount of physio. My mom did more than she has done in months. He was gentle but still encouraged her to do the exercises.
