Ashlea and Caitlin both greeted me with enthusiasm and a very clear passion and knowledge in what they do. Within the first appointment Ashlea not only properly assessed my situation but also clearly explained to me what was going on before we started treatment. She provided me with the necessary resources for continued recovery each week and I found the exercises achievable and effective. I will continue to seek treatment and can’t recommend them enough. I met with Alex who performed a thorough assessment. Not only did Alex address the core symptoms, he linked these musculoskeletal problems/disorders to the whole person. Alex also tied in human anatomy and physiology to the route cause of my symptoms. Moreover, my health goals were acknowledged and supported. I would highly recommend Elora Physiotherapy to anyone who is serious about getting better … which starts with YOU! The physiotherapists are there to help; however, in reality, the amount of progress one makes also depends a lot on how diligent he/she is at doing the prescribed exercises at home. Having been through a tough, long healing journey, I can definitely say that it can be easy to become more relaxed following healing from injury. The truth is that if one stops using his/her muscles, strength and progress may be lost. I guess what I am saying is that physio and/or keeping fit is a lifelong, consistent journey. Thus, I would recommend those who are seeking physiotherapy to really reflect on this. Ask your physiotherapist how you can ensure that you keep your strength up upon discharge. Take responsibility for your own health and success.

It is bright and welcoming, but also calm and peaceful. Caitlin has been really helpful in diagnosing and treating my lower back issues.
