The team at Royal City Health and Manual therapy are the best. I’ve seen a few different Physios and massage therapists over the last 6 years, each one was professional and well trained. I’ve been seeing my favourite RMT monthly for treatment of chronic headaches (and everything else I have done to injure myself) for 5 years and I would be lost without her. The office staff is super friendly and everything is clean and well maintained.

Been getting treatments here since 2018. I haven't had a single negative experience. Jeanie and Victor have been amazing and I am so thankful for their work. They have set great safety guidelines and ALWAYS are checking temperatures to insure the safety of their clients. I am a healthcare worker and I haven't been refused treatment at this clinic. This clinic works with a lot of senior clients and it is understandable for them to refuse service for people like me if we happen to work in COVID19 ICU wards or the ER.

The staff at Royal City Manual therapy are helpful and courteous towards the people visiting them for recovery and treatment. The receptionists work around your schedule and not their schedule , taking away any inconvenience it may cause in your busy day. I found Nick especially professional when it came to sharing knowledge about the injury and finding the most comfortable way to deal with it. Never pushing you too hard to re-injure yourself , like the other clinics do , they are always checking to see if your comfortable. ( two thumbs up ) I'm not just saying this after twisting a limb , I actually do extremely hard labor for a living , and I am constantly suffering from severe injuries. I have been to about 5 physio therapy clinics in the past few years and found this one the most effective and professional set up i have ever been to, and will definitely make this my future choice when needed. I went here a couple of times. It was primarily for physio but I did try some of their other services. The staff was definitely nice, but I didn't get a sense that the people providing the services were that knowledgeable. The physio didn't know what was wrong with me and ultimately I saw better results working with a personal trainer at the gym. The chiro didn't really care to maximize our time and sent me home after 5 minutes into a 30 minutes followup session. The nutritionist also didn't provide me with a lot of guidance. She said she doesn't help with meal planning and that I should make my water more fun. Overall I feel like I wasted time and money here and I won't be back. The worst was $180 that wasn't covered for unhelpful nutritional advice.

This massage establishment is bright and cheery with wonderful reception staff. My personal experience has been with Ernesto, a wonderful young RMT who has given my aging body some new life with the techniques he administers. I have greater range of motion than I have had in years and will continue to be his patient! If you are looking for an amazing RMT, look no further!

I got an accident in June this year. The location of Royal City Health and Manual Therapy was convenient for me. There were sufficient parking spots in the mall as well. My last session of massage therapy was done in the last week. Also, the last session of physiotherapy was finished in September. After those treatments, I now feel much better than the start. Thanks to my therapists Ernesto and Nicolas. They both worked very professional and did a great job for me. Moreover, all staff at the front desk were really helpful and polite.

I am impressed at his thoroughness when assessing me, broad range of techniques to try and help me and willingness to work with and listen to my needs and problems. He's been wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend his services! My only wish is that this clinic would move to online appointment booking as it would make it a lot easier for me than calling and going through dates verbally with the receptionist (even though she is very nice).

5*. If there was 10* Davina would get that! I've been going to this therapy location for few years now, started when they were located on 10th/6th. Initially I had therapist Julia, however she was off on maternity leave(congrats btw) so I was assigned with Davina. Wow! She is awesome! I was scheduled for surgery and she wrote a letter to my surgeon asking if after my surgery I could still continue getting treatment or it would cause an issue. My surgeon cleared me, but she was really surprised that the therapist took the extra time and was actually concerned about my well being ???? I've had couple of issues, with my ribs being popped out and had my rotator cuff messed up. In both cases she right away diagnosed the issue and recommended I seek medical attention from my family doc. She also recommended I see chiropractor (seen one the chiropractor at their location and he was also awesome too). I have regular appointments and she always listens to my concerns and needs and works with me explaining which and how to do stretches to prevent any more damage. I'm very happy with the service they provide, my only wish is they would have more people like Davina as she gets booked fast and one needs to book months in advance. If there was a cloning machine, she should be cloned! Thank you for your ongoing support and treatment on regular basis. Thank you again!

This location won't accept frontline healthcare workers who care for Covid-19 patients, then go so far as to tag their negative reviews as spam and accuse them of damaging their business. Classy! Other Physiotherapists have said that this behaviour is completely unacceptable. It's a shame that this business doesn't support the people who are risking their lives by caring for our loved ones in this time of need and uncertainty. Enjoy another "business damaging" 1-star review. You've earned it!

I have been a client here initially for MVA related injuries and received excellent treatment all around. My therapists have been considerate, courteous, patient, professional and clear in terms of why certain types of treatment were performed. During the pandemic, when they opened up to provide in person treatment, I have been fully apprised of safety protocols before going to the clinic and know fully what to expect. My well-being and safety is evident from before I walk into the door. Upon entering, I am to sanitize and complete Covid related forms and I’m seated with appropriate partitioning from other patients. Once in the treatment room masks are Worn at all times and I have absolutely no concerns that the staff at the clinic are well versed in what is required of them so that their and their patients’ health and Covid related concerns are held paramount. I wholeheartedly recommend the clinic and am not at all surprised that they have been voted #1 in New West many times over. Keep up the good work !

Very friendly staff, the reminder options are great (i prefer emails). I like them following up on me, compared to other clinics that doesn't care. The reception area is clean, bright and welcoming, I like that they always have fresh flowers to stare on while waiting. My RMTs and PT are very professional. Ernesto is like the human "dry needle", he knows exactly where the pain points are, he is very knowledgeable and educates me how to manage my neck and back pains. Davina is like healer of pains though it's hard to book her, she's always fully booked. Promod makes sure I am comfortable, and encourage me to do home exercise and he tracks my progress. The clinic is in great location also. Parking will never be a problem and you can browse on shops after relaxation.

Davina you rock! You're my superstar! During these hard times with COVID-19, its very selfish of someone complaining about not being treated due them being possible exposed to corona virus. I do understand everyone needs services, but at what cost? We all need to listen to Dr Bonny Henry and avoid large gathering. One person being treated which could technically expose the whole clinic patients, staff. If there was a way to do appointments virtually, then take that option, obliviously, one can't do message, but there are other options, like getting one of those massage guns, the therapist could show you how to use it correctly or have someone within your bubble assist you. Davina has helped me through my journey in riding by correcting my form, by showing me few stretches' which allows me to cycle more. She also concentrate on those muscle groups to lessen the soreness or pain which has been caused by riding. I have regular appointments and she always listens to my concerns and needs and works with me explaining which and how to do stretches to prevent any more damage. She has shown me some stretches' to do at home to maintain my issues I'm very happy with the service they provide, my first wish is if they could have more people like Davina as she gets booked fast. If there was a cloning machine, she should be cloned! My second wish is to have a system like other clinics which allows patients to book on line directly maybe to "X" number of appointments. All our life's are busy especially during COVID-19. At the present time, we can only book up 2 months ahead...there has been times when I have missed the opportunity to attend as either I had to cancel or the all the appointments were booked...if I can book ahead up to year that would be great! Thank you for your ongoing support and treatment on regular basis. Don't worry about "one person" who is selfish by wanting to get treatment but exposing others...last time I checked health care workers get in that business to assist people! I have been seeing Davina for massage therapy since I started going there and she is just amazing, honestly I don't think I would be where I'm at right now if it wasn't for her. Pramod has been very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me during my recovery, most importantly very professional and at the same time honest about the pros and cons of various options and sessions required for treatment. I am glad he introduced me to that treatment option. My RMT Mike has been great. I have never had an RMT like Mike. He is the only RMT who was able to get my shoulder/arm moving. This place is amazing! I've had 2 knee surgeries this year and they've been there every step of the way through pre hab and recovery. Nick (my physio) was the first one to suspect a torn ligament, even before my actual doctor, I was so impressed. Besides that I had one of the massage therapists (Mikey) get rid of a shoulder pain I had for over a year just in two sessions!! Go here if you care about your body.

After waiting almost three weeks for treatment for an injury sustained at work, I was refused treatment on the day of my appointment. Why? Because I’m a nurse that takes care of COVID 19 positive patients. I’ve never experienced this at any other business, especially one staffed by health care professionals, who should know better how to accurately assess true risk present when wearing proper PPE, as well as the ethical commitments of a health care profession. I spoke to the manager and apparently none of the 4 physios working would see me, as they had decided their stance months ago when presented with a similar decision. Disappointing that they have decided this, and disappointing that they did not inform me of this 3 weeks ago when I made the appointment. My response to this clinic’s reply - If you see a description of a client’s experiences as an attempt to damage your clinic, perhaps some self reflection and policy change is in order. You say you’re doing your best to stay open and help all your clients? This isn’t your best. Fortunately, not all physiotherapy or medical clinics refuse to see front line health care workers.Thankfully, your neighboring business, West Coast Medical Imaging, didn’t refuse me their services. It would be one thing if I had covid or signs or symptoms of it, in which case I wouldn’t dream of coming in to the clinic. True, the manager did offer tele health services, but how useful is telehealth physiotherapy in an acute phase of injury? Perhaps later on in treatment, ie, when one is just checking in on how exercises are going, but not when manual therapy is needed. Again, no other business I’ve encountered treats front line health care workers like this, not my eye doctor, my dentist, my GP, my OB, my RMT, laboratory services, nor other physiotherapy clinics. Your clinic is the exception.

I’ve been seeing Nick for almost a year now and he is an outstanding therapist and very knowledgeable in his field, with a broad range of techniques that are impressive. I have been going to this clinic for years now and everyone from the front desk staff to the physiotherapists and RMTs are a delight! I have been seeing Nick for quite a few years now unfortunately due to being involved in a few accidents and he is always trying to help me get better and stronger. He is always trying out different techniques such as IMS, acupuncture, massage, stretches and different strength training exercises. I appreciate how involved he is in helping me heal. I have also been seeing Mikey for a while as well and he has been great as well! I always leave feeling less stiff and overall relaxed. He also has various techniques to help alleviate some discomfort and pain. Overall a great clinic that is clean and best of all free parking!

We have all been completely impressed with the entire team; from the receptionists through to the treatment providers. They are punctual, organized and thorough in explaining the issues, why certain treatment is being provided & expected outcomes. Having the massage therapist for Canada's Olympic Wresting Team, Rick, on staff has been an added bonus since he has also assisted Jeanie with me, as necessary. Like others, I appreciate professionalism and good service ... and both are present in high quantities at this clinic. I have recommended this clinic to friends/associates, all of whom also speak very highly of their experiences here. In my profession I deal with many "medical" offices and this one certainly stands out from the crowd.

Lately I've been treated regularly by massage therapist Mike, who is absolutely fantastic. The pain and stiffness that I experience really limits what I am able to do comfortably; after a massage treatment, I'm pain-free and ready to get on with my day. I send my kids here as well; they're in a lot of sports and are prone to sport-related injury and muscle tightness. Jeannie, Julia, Mike and Lisa have successfully treated them which helped them prepare for and compete in provincial, national and international competitions. We are very thankful for this amazing team of very competent therapists. The clerical staff at the front desk are friendly and professional. If they can't accommodate us with a timely appointment, they will call us when they have a cancellation. Very welcoming place.
