Carla has helped me rehab two separate issues, one a shoulder issue and the other a knee one. I've gone to other physiotherapists who just gave me exercises and sent me on my way without a clear path forward. Carla was very involved in the process and was genuine in her care about actually helping me get better for the long term. On subsequent visits she would monitor how I was doing the exercises she assigned me and make sure I was doing them right. Usually she would tweak something to improve it. It's a level of care I haven't seen with anyone else. She took time to explain things to me, showing me diagrams in books when necessary. She also has a beautiful and cozy space to work in. I have oteo-arthritis in my knees. I was barely walking in the spring when both knees had sustained injury complicated by arthritis. I really was desperate when my doctor referred me to a knee surgeon... still waiting for that referral. Carla was gentle and gave me treatment, assurance and home exercises to support my ailing knees. Slowly but surely, my knees improved and I was able to ride my stationary bike once again. Carla has an excellent private practice in a bright clean cabin located just a few minutes outside of Nelson.
