Very rude receptionist! (Not the same staff/physiotherapist from a year ago that received great reviews.) I was doing my research on a few physio clinics in Mississauga, and happened to call Rathburn Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine Clinic. Unlike my inquiries with other physio clinics, this receptionist was not even sure if the rates posted on their own website was correct. She mentioned that there was "new" ownership at this clinic. I asked if I could speak with their physiotherapist to find out more about the clinic and their services, but she recommended I book an appointment (other clinics were nice enough to put the physio on the phone). Half an hour later, I read the rave reviews (from a year ago) on Google and decided to call once more. I asked the receptionist "When did the new ownership take over?", in hopes to determine if the reviews on Google are still valid. She very, VERY, RUDELY replied "What does that matter???" I shot back, "I read some great reviews on Google and wanted to know if it was the same physio staff as before." In which she promptly replied, "No, it's not the same staff." I said "Thanks, that's all I wanted to know." Before my sentence was complete, she hung up on me. I wanted to give this clinic a try, but the rude receptionist was a non-starter for me. Just so everybody knows, the current staff is NOT the same highly-reviewed staff from last year.

Went there to recover from an ankle injury. Very friendly Staff. Very flexible hours, too. I really like it. I would recommend it to anyone. I honestly saw an improvement after the 1st session and I have been greatly improving since.

I was sent to Rathburn Physio by my doctor...I had a bad fall a couple of years ago and landed on my knee...Xrays and Ultrasound said it was fine but two years later the pain was getting worse and I found myself limping...I was sent for an MRI which showed there was in fact an injury, a tear and lesion and some other medical terms...It was at a point i couldn't walk without limping so back to the doctor I went and was prescribed Tylenol 3 and Arthrotec (anti-inflammatory)...Also an appointment with a knee surgeon was scheduled for January 2014....My doctor sent me to Rathburn Physio that day and I started my physiotherapy that same day....The staff at Rathburn are extremely caring and attentive to all of their patients...I have been going there for two days a week for the past month and I no longer have the aching pain, I am no longer limping and my mobility has soo improved in my knee....I stopped taking the anti inflammatory pills and pain killers after my 2nd appointment as they were no longer required thanks to the great methods and staff at Rathburn Physiotherapy....At this rate, with the continued improvement, my surgery may not be necessary at this time if my knee continues to feel better...Thanks a million to Mithura and Nailia for taking such good care of me...I will definitely recommend your Clinic to anyone I know that may require physio therapy!!

I started going to Rathburn Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Clinic about a month ago to help with recovery from an Achilles injury (post surgery). In just a short amount of time I have noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and strength. Mithura and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and provide great engagement during the sessions. I typically supplement my physio sessions with a massage. Marsha who is the onsite RMT, does an excellent job with relaxing my muscles and improving blood flow. I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for physio treatment and massage therapy in Mississauga.

I highly recommend Rathburn Physiotherapy. Allan (physiotherapist) is extremely knowledgeable and provides a thorough approach to therapy with any injury I've incurred from a sprained muscle to a pulled muscle or muscles that are in spasm. He will explain the how's, what's and why's of an injury and suggest independent post-treatment exercises. He has healing hands and I always respond to his treatment very quickly and fully heal. The staff are also friendly and accommodating for last minute appointments. Thank you Allan/Rathburn Physiotherapy team!

Its a nice place with friendly staff at a convenient location. The physiotherapist is very knowledgeable and pays attention to details. He has been very helpful in treatments and devotes the required time during treatment. Rest of staff is very friendly too and ensures a very comfortable experience. Mithura is a true magician! I could hardly move my back after a very unpleasant pedestrian accident and just after 3 sessions with her, I feel like it never happened! My wife is raving about her as well. Will recommend to anyone.

Alen is awesome, I have been to several other physiotherapists for treatment of my ankle and felt rushed everytime with mediocre treatment. Alen takes his time, does a combination of amazing hands-on and technology based treatments and I feel better and stronger each time. They have all the fitness machines you can ask for that will get you back to sports in no time and every visit something new is added and altered. I would recommend Rathburn Physiotherapy in Mississauga to anyone looking for a caring physiotherapist with international experience.

Was referred to Rathburn Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Clinic by a co-worker and I thank him everyday for this endorsement. Few months ago, I severely injured my ankle in a basketball game, went to other clinics and this is the first one where I feel comfortable returning to. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional and sincere. After one visit, I quickly saw an improvement to my ankle. I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone in the Mississauga area looking for physiotherapy.

I'm a hard soccer player, and when I hurt my back last year, I went to the Rathburn Clinic, and it was the BEST thing I could have done. The massages and physio treatments worked miracles, and they were incredibly professional and welcoming. A huge recommendation if anyone is recovering from an injury.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A MASSAGE! I came here for the first and last time. The male RMT here does not know how to take any directions. My massage was scheduled for half an hour, but unfortunately lasted only 25 minutes. When I addressed this issue with the lady at front desk, she told me that the half an hour includes all paperwork and the dressing/undressing part, which is why the actual massage was only 25 minutes. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I've been to enough clinics to know that the massage usually lasts the full half hour if not more, EVEN if it's a busy clinic. Even if that is the case, then out of COURTESY most RMTs will go to half an hour to ensure that the client is happy. During the massage session, it felt like the RMT was merely rubbing my back with oil. There was ZERO technique. ZERO! I asked him to go a little deeper, but he just would not take any directions. Bottom line is that do not go here if you do not want to be served by people that give zero care for client satisfaction and cannot take directions. This was definitely $60 wasted. Never ever again!

I first went to the Rathburn Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine Clinic after severely spraining my ankle playing ultimate frisbee. I showed up on crutches, my ankle was the size of a balloon and I couldn't even move it without experiencing severe pain. The staff at the Rathburn Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine Clinic we very welcoming and provided great support and explanations on how the ankle should be treated and how to proceed with the rehabilitation process. I received physiotherapy treatment, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments for the damaged ankle, and in less than 2 weeks I was completely off the crutches. Within 2 months I was back playing ultimate frisbee and other sports with minimal pain in my injured ankle. I would highly recommend the Rathburn Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine Clinic to anyone looking to bounce back quickly from a sports injury. Their staff went above and beyond to insure that I was receiving the necessary treatment to get me back playing sports as soon as possible.
