I am not happy for their physio therapy appointment schedule service mostly Physio therapist is serving more than one patient at a time and not focused on one patient. I arrived 5 minutes late due to traffic in the area for one of my appointment and was told physio Therapist has only 10 mins before she has to leave to catch a flight. Also had hard time receiving report for my physio treatments.

Trevor did an amazing job at fixing my problem with customized foot orthotics, which enabled me to walk and run without pain. I am a patient of Dr. Stephanie Tom from last 3 years , had no problem connecting with her , but with her new secretary it’s becoming miserable for me to connect . I had been suffering from major hip bursitis pain last week , I called her and ask can I speak to dr. Toms replacement, she rudely told me “ hope u get that it’s Friday and and about to 4:00, we can’t help now” like seriously, what kind of behaviour is this ?? And btw I called at 2:30 pm. From last couple of days I am just leaving several voice mails without them calling me back. I just hope supervisors will take strong action against her secretary.

So I had a phone consult with Dr. Nguyen in regards to recent results for an MRI I had done on both my knees. Due to COVID, I was instructed that the 1st appointment would be completed over the phone. I found this to be super difficult as Dr. Nguyen kept stopping me to take notes. He informed me he was slow at note-taking and it made it difficult to ask questions during this initial consultation. I'm not sure if he had all of my results in front of him but he did misdiagnose over the phone which would have resulted having an unnecessary steroid shot in a knee that does not have arthritis. He was very nice, and offered to also review the MRI for my arm even though he only specializes in lower body. However, I feel that the initial consult could have been handled differently given the logistical challenges this doctor has doing phone appointments. This resulted in another appointment being scheduled for "treatment" instead of receiving treatment that day (like with other specialists I saw). I'd recommend going to another clinic that is offering in person appointments right off the bat instead of this place. COVID isn't going anywhere anytime soon and this policy is compromising patient care (for those of us that wanted to come in person for the consult).

I have been seeing Pan, (my initial assessment done by Hamid and he was great), and her team since August for follow up treatment of a fractured shoulder. Pan has been an excellent physiotherapist throughout this process. Her ability to tailor my treatment to the pace and progress of my healing has been instrumental in my recovery. She works extremely well with her team which results in the team providing excellent support. After her every treatment I feel better and different. I have had the best experience here. I’ve been to multiple physiotherapists, however, having Pan treat my injuries and pain has genuinely helped me. She not only treated my injury but she also looked at other areas that were affected by this injury. This stood out to me since the other physiotherapists I have seen have not done that. All of them were using machines and never involved themselves with the patient physically. I also really enjoy the environment here because everyone is so nice and welcoming! Still, I am getting treatment and wish them all good luck. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get professional treatment. In addition, I want to give a thumb up for Dr. Bill Manolopoulos and Dr. Can Nguyen, (I met Dr. Nguyen at the credit valley hospital), also Orthopaedic administrator Christine. They are very professional.

If I could give less than a star, I would give Mr. Nguyen less than that. I would not call him a doctor ! My mother had an operation with him on her knees, but the operation failed. Now she has more pain, and more ligament damage in her knees to the point that she CANNOT stand for an half an hour. After going to Nguyen several times, he says: "when your knees become worse and worse then we can have another operation, because this operation has failed". I would not recommand that person, he is not relible nor he is serious about people's well-being.

I was treated by Dr. Bill Manolopoulos for two tears in my shoulder rotator cuff and one in my bicep. The surgery went well and I was back at work, performing regular duties, in under three months. The physiotherapists provided me with excellent follow-up care and attention. My coworkers could not believe how quickly I recovered. One had taken two years to recover from the same surgery. The front desk staff is always polite, professional, and very accommodating to my schedule. I am very appreciative and very pleased with the excellent care I've received here.

I've returned to the sport of track and field after aprox. 8-9 years, and of course my body hasn't been pushed like that for a while. I've been working out for a solid 2 almost 3 months now, and my legs have been taking a beating due to lack of fitness, flexibility issues, and etc. Throughout this process of getting back into shape.. I have been suffering through shin splints, and recently a hamstring injury. The physio team at Mississauga Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Center consisting of Michelle, Vaibhavi, Fatima, and Trevor (Orthopedics) have been incredible (they are all incredible humans). Their attention to detail, , the patience, and their kind/positive energy, has really helped me through this psychologically tough period of recovery. Super encouraging & hard working team with a lot of knowledge, incredible treatment, and they truly make you feel great after every session. My body has been feeling much better! This review is regarding Dr. Levesque's Assistant, and not the good Doctor himself. I still haven't had the chance to meet with Dr. Levesque; however, my over-the-phone experience with his Assistant is what I label as 'emotionally abusive' to say the least. She was rude, condescending and used unwarrantedly aggressive language with for no apparent reason. She interrupted me twice and used terms like "Listen...listen....You don't just call and say you're following up on an appointment when none was given to you. We are the ones who call you to tell you the appointment" and "This not the way how work here". Granted that I was given incorrect information by my family doctor office to call Dr. Levesque office to 'follow up' on 'my appointment', while missing to mention that I should be actually following up on the status of the referral instead. A piece of information that wasn't made clear to me. However, this still doesn't justify the Assistant's behavior, especially that I was polite, inquisitive and used completely 'neutral' language. I felt really upset after the call and the more I play it back in my head the more I find it frustrating. Is this how are patients are supposed to be answered? even if they mistakenly asked for the wrong information?

I cant thank enough to Carolyn and Vaibhavi for helping me to get back my life after struggling with pain for more than 2 years. i was mentally physically exhausted and lost interest to live with such pain 24X7.. even I could not enjoy motherhood with my newborn... Vaibhavi is such awesome in her skill that she is the only person could diagnose the root cause of the problem and sent me to Carolyn.. To have been booked an appointment 8 months ago, showed up at the door and found out this establishment has been moved without being informed was not a pleasant start. Then to show up for the re-booked appointment only to be told that Dr. has in practice always double book clients and as a result, the actual physician / patient encounter happened more than an hour later is hardly reason to give any feedback other than one.

I would like to thank Viabhavi Satam and the staff at Mississauga Physiotherapy & Orthopedic Center for helping get my wrist back to normal after an injury. I rarely had to wait for my appointment and the treatment and exercises were very effective in getting back my wrist mobility. I was referred here after fracturing my talus and spraining my ankle in spring 2020. I received excellent care from my physio, Vaibhavi Satam, who worked with me on a weekly basis. She tailored my treatment plan to my lifestyle and assisted me with getting back to where I was before the injury! She is kind, patient, and fun to interact with during my sessions :) I highly recommend her as a physio and this clinic location in general.

Summary: This is my second period of physio at MPOC following hip surgery (one phase after left hip replacement then one after right hip replacement). Highly successful. MPOC will be my first port of call for any future physio needs. Details: Reception staff are friendly and are accurate and efficient with booking and billings. Plenty of assistants, exercise machines and aids, and therapy tools. Vaibhavi (my physio) assesses your needs and constructs a clear plan for office therapy and home exercise. Crucially in my view, she is always open to feedback, discussion and revision to the plan based on your experience between or at appointments. As a side note, but important for some, my surgeon has his practice at MPOC and I know the physios can discuss progress and challenges following surgery with the surgeon in question, which helps follow up appointments with both the physio and surgeon. Opportunities for improvement? I can't think of any right now. Thanks for looking after me MPOC.

I recently had extensive rotator cuff surgery. I was sent to Trevor to purchase a shoulder brace beforehand. It was obvious that the standard brace did not fit me properly. It cut across my neck which would have been very uncomfortable over a long period of time. Trevor kindly and immediately ordered me a different brace and had it available for me the next day. He fit it to me and showed me how to use it. With the original brace, my long recovery would have been far more uncomfortable. Thanks, Trevor for your excellent care and service!

I had broken my wrist back in January and had just started physiotherapy in early March. My first physio office closed due to the pandemic. The Dr from the hospital referred me here. I am so happy that they are still open and able to assist clients. The staff have all been very kind and helpful. Vaibhavi has been a wonderful physiotherapist. She patiently answered all my questions and gave me very detailed printed instructions for my exercises. My wrist improved dramatically since my first appointment with her. Now I am done my sessions and can continue at home with the info she has given me. I would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. Nguyen is a very aggressive guy. He wants patients in and out like cattle. If you ask questions, he gets frustrated really quickly, and starts becoming rude and sarcastic. I took my grandma in for consultation on a knee surgery, and dealing with Dr Nguyen was a nightmare. He has no patience or kindness. If you want to be able to ask questions about a big surgery, and want your Dr to help you during the process, find another Dr.

Michele, my Physiotherapist and the Kinesiologists were very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend MPOC to anyone who has had a joint replaced.

I am in my 50s and I had my right shoulder injured in Dec 2020 for unknown reasons. I could not raise my right arm from front nor side ways. I could not reach my up cabinet to get dishes. I felt so gloomy for a few months and MRI report showed partially tear. I also did try other physiotherapy but did not get any better. A family member of mine recommended me to try Mississauga Physiotherapy and I did start my treatment with Michelle, DJ, and Mark. I did not see big difference in the beginning but I did notice that they have a dedicated team to guide me for physio exercises. After a few weeks, I noticed improvement on my shoulder in May 2021 and I realized how important the daily exercise was in order to cure my shoulder. Michelle recommended me to decrease the number of appointments but continue to do exercises every day, which I did. By Oct 2021, my shoulder was recovered by 99%. I burst into tears when the first time I raised my arm to 90 degrees! I was so happy that I made the right decision to visit Mississauga Physiotherapy. Lessons learned: finding the treatment that suites your situation is the key; doing the right exercise every day is crucial; stay positive and better days are on their way!

Although I did not visit this facility directly I would like to post specifically about Dr. Rajesh Chakravertty CPSO#: 82440. I was referred to Dr. Rajesh Chakravertty from the ER at Credit Valley hospital. It became apparent to me immediately that this doctor did not care about me as a patient when he came in for 15 minutes, did very minimal physical testing, then dismissed my concern of a potential ACL tear. I had to force him to request an MRI, although his statement was that he does not believe in MRI reports since radiologists "always get it wrong". It was immediately after my meeting with him that I went to get a second opinion through the University of Toronto. The MRI report came back and showed an ACL tear. It is very obvious the this doctor has no experience dealing with sports injuries and should refrain from seeing patients that have suffered ligament tears. His medical training is limited as his ability to interpret MRI reports and the understanding of how MRI works is very limited (Personally an employee of UHN with 2+ years of working in MRI research). I cannot advocate enough a second opinion after seeing this doctor as his knowledge and bedside manners are very poor, and should not be practicing medicine.

I have been to a few therapy clinics and since haveing a full knee replacement I have found that Mississauga Physo has moved to the top of the list as for staff are great and very informative as how you thearapy is going and when given exercises to do they explain how to do them and why you have to do them ,most thearapy clinics just bring you in spend 5 minutes with you and there off to another patient. Mississauga Physo you arrive at the location and your therapist is there and you have 1 half hour of one on one therapy it's a 2 hr work out put into 1 half hour I finish there and I can barely walk to my ride there is no gas left in the tank .

At first I was sceptical as most physio places tend to focus more on how much they can get from insurance rather than rehabilitation of the patient but MPOC was completely different. They focused on my recovery and helped me become mobile again. They were smart, informative and above all else, they were beyond helpful. The entire staff are super friendly and amazing at their respective jobs. So grateful to MPOC and if I ever need physio again this is where I will go.

I had a total knee replacement due to COVID 19 and could not get the Physiotherapy and suffered a lot. Finally doctor Nguyen suggested me this clinic. It takes a lot for me to trust somebody with my health problems. I met V who is absolutely Fantastic physiotherapist. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional,respectful, thorough and made me feel comfortable all the time. She is very insightful, explains everything she does and has such a bright and positive personality. V is purely dedicated to providing relief and individual attention to the patients. She never rush during the treatments and teaches the proper exercises. She is professional, courteous and has in depth knowledge how the body works. She not only helped me to improve my bending movement from 65 to 118 of my operated knee but also the range of motion of my fractured wrist due to fall and her very personable and friendly attitude made my each visit a pleasure. The team is very welcoming, atmosphere is wonderful. I appreciate the front desk especially Asha and Joanne who always help with their smiling faces. I would certainly recommend V and her assistant Sunny them to anyone who is looking for a magic healing touch. V your knowledge and experience is tremendous and I am so glad that I was treated by you.

I have not even met the doctor yet, just called to book an appointment. The lady I talked to (Dr. Levesque’s assistant ) was so rude. I clearly mentioned that I was looking to book appointment but need to check on the referral first, if it was received by their office. First of all she mentioned angrily that she could not hear a word i was saying. I spoke bit louder and gave her all details. She seemed bit frustrated, then after sometime she said I cant find anything. I repeated my ques of referral then she was furious saying ‘ next time you call u need to tell me its the referral not the appointment you talking about’, although i had mentioned it to her in very beginning.. in case she missed it, there was no reason to be disrespectful over this… now i m rethinking about whether to visit this office or not. I can’t imagine a person who is first point of contact for a doctor is so unprofessional and rude. Person in such job must be patient and respectful, otherwise they cause places to loose business. Now I do want to see Dr. Levesque but hesitant due to this unprofessional lady.

If I could rate this absolutely horrifying facility less I would!! Avoid Stephanie at all and ANY GIVEN COST! EXTREMELY RUDE, CONDESCENDING, OUTRIGHT STUPID WOMAN who calls herself a doctor. I don't know how these kind of people get certified and recieve their board licenses ! She entirely dismissed my mothers debilitating arthritis that leaves her absolutely swollen and immobile in the mornings and refused to treat her with anything but medication that she finds fit for an osteoarthritis patient. She did not perform proper tests to determine her condition and refused to look further into my mothers medical condition by not performing more tests. She also refused to send current reports to my mothers family doctor as well. This woman needs someone to check on her and rebuke her license to practise because of her absolute lack of ethics, manners, refusal to treat a patient and obvious lack of actual medical knowledge. She is incredibly unqualified and should not be allowed to practise what so ever. Someone will suffer or die under her care!!! Psychopath!
