I met Preston and Sierra in Feb of 2019 when he treated me post operatively for Rotator cuff surgery. Preston's assessment and regimen he prescribed was perfect to aid in my recovery. Assessments are very thorough, a variety of treatment options are provided while you’re there, and exercises are provided and even emailed, for later reference. My treatments have been with Sharla, Wade, and Preston for different injuries over the years. I’ve heard great things about the other physiotherapists too. The Physio assistants and front desk staff are top notch, even calling immediately to tell you if you forgot something at your appointment. This is a wonderful clinic with extraordinary people. There is no reason to look anywhere else.

First visit to Excel. This place came highly recommended from different members of the community and after my first time, I can understand why. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff. All with smiling (eyes) - Covid times. I have a few different health plans and wasn't sure how to proceed with paperwork, and rather than sit and rifle through sorting it out, they let me get on with with my treatment and worked it all out for me. Making it a seamless and easy check-in. Not always the easiest thing to do on a first visit to a medical facility. My therapist, Kaden, was calm, informative, and patient with my millions of questions. He went through each home exercise with precision, making sure I had them down before moving to the next. He performed a few machine treatments, and made sure I understood the reason and science behind each one, which I appreciated immensely. The atmosphere, energy and facility itself is all top notch. It's clean, bright, and comfortable. I will be back and will be recommending this place (and Kaden) to anyone looking for physio!

If there was a negative about my visits , it was the treatment room I was put in.The room was very clean but the interioe decorating on the walls was ghastly and very tacky. Pictures and objects relating to the Edmonton Oilers Hockey team were everywhere. How horrendous.Should I need to come to Excel Therapy again, I will positively demand to be put in another room or I’ll take my business elsewhere. My last visit was very good. Last year in March I had a total knee replacement and started my physiotherapy 3 weeks after the surgery With the help of the physiotherapist and the excellent team there I made a swift recovery and my knee is perfect! 2 years ago I was in a car accident which left me with a severe neck injury. I spent a bit of time in hospital and once released had a couple of physio treatment from a different clinic. The therapist said I was good to go. About a year later, I found myself in a lot of pain in the left side of my neck as well as having severe headaches. I had tried chiropractic and massage but found that both of these treatments relieved the pain at the point of treatment. I needed a solution. I finally turned to Excel Physiotheraphy for some help. Preston Sloan was the therapist assigned to my case. He and I sat down and reviewed what type of things I was doing to try to relieve at least some of the pain. I used ice packs a lot, as well as a bit of heat at night to help sleep, plus soooo much Tylenol, Aleve, and Advil. Preston listened to all my concerns, and started treatment immediately. He also showed me exercises to do to that would help give my neck more mobility as I had started to “baby” the injury. We went over the exercises right there in the treatment room to be sure I did them properly. He also emailed visual pics with instructions to ensure I was doing them correctly at home. My visits to him started out at 2 times per week, going week by week we discussed my progress. I followed the advice and exercise program Preston gave me and can honestly say this treatment worked very well. I needed to continue the treatments, going from twice per week to once per week, then once every two weeks, and finally only when I felt as though I needed a treatment. The treatment also consisted of very comforting neck and base of my head massage. I felt super comfortable in the treatment room and with Preston. I could tell right away that he was very concerned for my well being and health. As a matter of fact, all of the therapists and support staff were very accommodating to my needs. I can say that with Preston’s help, and sticking to his program of exercises have helped to heal my injury to where I do not need the Tylenol, aleve, or Advil anymore. I highly recommend this clinic for all your sport and accident injuries, as well as if you have slept in an awkward way and woke up with a nasty ache. This also happened recently when I was at work and reached for a box. I pulled something in the left side of my back. I called the clinic and they had me come in right away to have it checked out. Preston was not available at that time, however, another therapist was able to see me and again listened to my concerns and treated me for the pain. I am very appreciative of this clinic and how passionate they are when it comes to helping people. Roxanne Rose

Big Big Thanks to Kaden and the team at Excel Physical Therapy!! An Achilles tear in May put my entire summer at risk, but Kaden pushed me through a few weeks (or was it months?!?) of physio and life is great again! I heartily recommend Excel Physical Therapy. The great customer service at Excel starts when you walk through the front door. Each time I am greeted warmly by name and then shown to a treatment room. Sharla does a great job of finding the problem and then treating it with manipulation and then the tens machine and heat. Treatment is tailored to each person and their needs.
