I have done physiotherapy at other places for ongoing nerve damage with very limited results. Anne was able to develop a full care plan including physiotherapy with her, occupational therapy (Virginia and Tracey are amazing) kinesiology (Kevin also amazing) and massage (and you guessed it both Jane and Mark are amazing). I have lessened the numbness and regained strength, both things I had given up on. So lucky to have found them. Also need to mention Lori and Chantal at the front. They have been just as big a part of the care and made sure everything worked for me time wise.

In today's society there is not much places that genuinely care about you or about what's happening to you in most cases they care about getting you whatever you need and sending you on your way and onto the next. This is not the feeling I experienced at lifemark the entire environment consistented of a warm loving family environment in which I could sense that both Kevin and Anne genuinely wanted to get me back on my feet for which I am genuinely grateful for because I was almost going into depression because I was not able to fully do the thing I love the most. Thank you both for getting me up and running and keep doing the excellent job you're doing. If you really want a place that cares about your well being and is there for you step by step lifemark is the place to be.

If you have a permanent workplace injury; avoid this place at all costs. They will tell wsib that you are fine with no impairment and deny you any medical imaging and try to tell you you’re fine and leave you helpless and on your own with a permanent injury.

I have been attending Occupational Therapy sessions with Christina since my mva a little over two years ago. It has been pivotal in helping me deal with the many effects of my brain injury. OT has been able to identify some of my symptoms and refer me to other rehab specialists that specialize in those areas. Someone who can think clearly for you when you can't do it yourself has been so helpful. Teaching me how to relearn, step by step, with a focus on improvement as the goal has been the single most important part of my rehab.

Lifemark is a well run, clean clinic. My grumbles are that there is too much paperwork at the first appointment and that some insurance companies are not directly billed. With that out of the way, I have to give full marks to Nicole Terrier and her physio / client manner. She is very informative, calm, relaxed, and best of all, solved my vertigo. She took the time to fully explain the epley maneuver. Without hesitation I have recommended her to friends.

My programme includes Occupational therapy and I have found this to be single most important part of my rehabilitation. Had recurring and significant pain in my arm after a fall (nerve impacting strength, range of motion, etc.). Nicole (physiotherapist) has gotten me back to being able to use my arm and even provided exercises to further strengthen and stabilize it. No sitting in a room with electrodes! Very interactive and driven by your ability with just a bit of pushing beyond to see how you are progressing. Nicole was great - very professional and friendly too -- really tailors your exercises etc. to what you have available at home - no expensive equipment or gym membership required. I would highly recommend!

I came to Lifemark about 6 months post injury/concussion. I suffered an injury in the workplace and getting therepy seemed to take a long time. However once Nicole and her team began the course of therepy I nearly immediately experienced gains. Nicole was able to get WSIB to provide both physio as well as massage therepy, which seemed to be the difference. Nicole is a professional, who immediately set me at ease, advocating for me, in a situation that was beginning to seem hopeless. I have played hockey, my son plays provincial football, and Nicole and Kasey are both in the top 2% of health care professionals I have had the pleasure of being treated by. Kasey was the massage therapist who managed to rehab my neck and sholder back to what could be argued as a better position than when I started. Kasey is extremely honest, however extremely professional. On many occasions she knows exactly what words and subtle english to use in order to comfort a patient. Moving forward I will maintain my patient role with Nicole/Kasey and the Team at Carling in order to experience a total body wellness.. Called on Monday to book my first appointment. The front office staff had a terrible attitude over the phone. Had to call the office manager 3 times over last two days until she finally picked up. When I asked if she had received my voicemail, her only response when I mentioned this was “we’re talking now”. I required physio for a shoulder injury i had fallen prey too. As a first time customer i didn't know what to expect. The online experience was smooth. I was quickly reassured by Caroline my physiotherapist that with time and patience all would be corrected. In December 2019, I came to Lifemark with excruciating sciatica, pain so severe I was only mobile with crutches. Nicole quickly evaluated the situation, began treatment, provided a list of do's and don't's as well as daily "homework" poses and stretches to do between appointments. Follow up appointments consisted of a progress review, further treatment, "homework" adjustments and Nicole always made time for Q & A. I have nothing but grate things to say about this clinic I have worked with Chris, Jen, Kevin, Julia, Jain and Liesel and they are all wonderful they’re very accommodating and all work together to make sure I am not duplicating treatment and working on all aspects to get me better. I go in to the clinic 2 times a week for the past 5 months and each time its like being treated like family. Chantal is always at the front desk and is a joy to talk to when waiting for your appointment. I don’t event live close to this clinic but if you want the best care this is the place for you, I would never even think about changing to something closer they’re worth the drive !

With WSIB I was given a small list of Physiotherapy places to go to, and the only reasonable one was Lifemark. Based on their assessment and information they provided, I was misdiagnosed with SHSE and hip impingement. WSIB took these theoretical diagnoses and pretended like they were fact, and refused to get me an MRI to show what was actually wrong with me because the theoretical diagnoses didn't need an MRI. Well I just got an MRI requisitioned by my family doctor and I have a Labral Tear, not hip impingement. So I have wasted 6 months with lifemark getting treatment for the wrong things and being gaslit by OWN, WSIB, and Lifemark when I was telling them that they were wrong. They were trying to take my secondary workplace injury and pretend it doesnt exist, and tell me it's my own fault for having bad hips. I havent had any issues with my hips throughout my life until my injury at work. I was discharged from OWN and Lifemark a week before my MRI (like they were scared of the results of the MRI) based on theoretical information and now Lifemark is pretending that I don't exist. Everyone is discharging me from care and we have only just discovered what is wrong with me. I guess if it is too challenging to treat an injury it's easier to just pretend it doesnt exist. I'm not going to pretend like Lifemark did nothing to help me however, thus the 2 stars. My primary injury, my left foot Tendonosis and Tenosynovitis, Lifemark was able to help me with. They provided me with google-search level exercises, most of which I was already doing. And they helped me activate my core better for my hip and back pain. They gave me some mechanical coaching to the things I was already doing, minor adjustments and positioning changes to make them more effective. If WSIB and OWN had gotten me an MRI like I asked, I wonder if Lifemark could have been more helpful. But that's not my problem, I am not the professional. I am still in a great amount of pain, and the help Lifemark provided me with was not all that effective in the end.

Three years ago I suffered a head concussion due to a slip and fall. A year and half ago I was referred by my insurance company to see LifeMark on Carling Ave. & Woodroffe. They are professional, caring and sympathetic to your problems. I was treated by Nicole for vestibular problems and other issues, and I am still being followed by the Occupation Therapist Christina Dorcas, who is the best. Some days I would see her thinking I would never get better, but with a lot of patience, guidance and her sense of humour, she has help immensely. They are one of the few clinics in the area that have the resources to deal with concussion and post-concussion syndrome. Instead of running to different offices and clinics, all of my rehabilitation happened in one location with positive, caring professionals.

After being diagnosed with concussion after a motorcycle accident in 2016, I was referred to Christina Dorcas and the team at the Lifemark Clinic at Carling and Woodroffe. Being able to take advantage of their expertise in concussion treatment and the related issues such as vestibular problems and advanced physiotherapy has been great. I have been diagnosed with vertigo. My GP gave me a prescription for Vestibular Rehabilitation which was supported by a specialist. Upon the recommendation of the specialist, I visited Lifemark Physiotherapy, and was treated by Nicole. After she ran various tests, she tried a manoeuver which cured the problem that had been plaguing me for almost a year, and that in only two sessions. In addition, she showed me how to do the procedure myself at home, in case it re-occurred. I have been very impressed with this Clinic and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone who suffers from dizziness or vertigo. I am very thankful for Nicole's professionalism, thoroughness, and friendliness.

I broke my wrist on December 5, 2016. I got my cast off on January 18, 2017 and started physiotherapy the next day. Lauren was the woman I saw and she did everything she could to help get my wrist back to normal. When she went on maternity leave in early July, David took over in August and he did everything he could to help get my wrist back to normal . Today was my last appointment and I have 75 percent of my wrist back They were both compassionate,caring,helpful and they love what they do so much which is to help people feel better.I recommend them both.

Three years ago I was referred to Nicole by an osteopath for treatment of vertigo. I'd had it for years so was doubtful but hopeful. I had 100% relief on the first visit! Amazing! I've since seen her for physio due to a knee injury, and a years old neck/postural problem. Each time she quickly gave appropriate treatment, resulting in quick improvement and recovery. I see Marc Tremblay for monthly massage to help with postural issues. He is excellent! All staff at the clinic are supportive, friendly and very skilled in their specialties. I have been going to Lifemark for several years. Office staff excellent. Recently had a total hip replacement. Nicole was great in getting me ready for surgery, altering exercises according to decreasing strength and range of motion. After the surgery Nicole customized the recommended exercises given at the hospital to meet my goals and capabilities. Thanks to Nicole’s professional encouragement I am planning on skiing this winter. Recently recommended Nicole to my husband who in the last year has gone to other physios for chronic arthritic back pain. Nicole’s positive encouragement and personalized exercises according to his age and goals are to be complimented. Only negative is a recent removal of the coat rack which has been awkward now that we have winter weather.
