In for some work on left shoulder rotator cuff. Pleasant, professional, knowledgeable therapist. What more could you want? The assessment was thoroughly done. Some therapy is covered by healthcare, some is not. You need a referral from a doctor for health care coverage. And you get a parking voucher to boot.

I came here after surgery to remove dead muscle from my leg, which ended up causing a lack of sensation in my lower leg and a loss of movement in my foot. I ended up requiring the use of a cane, a leg brace, and EdemaWear to control chronic post-operative swelling. It was also painful to walk with a normal heel-to-toe gait. After a few weeks of physiotherapy, I regained much of the movement in my foot. My gait has almost returned to normal, and while I still lack sensation and have issues with swelling, I do not need my cane nearly as much. I have even stopped using it around the house. I can even get around short distances without my leg brace as well, although I do still wear it most of the time. I am also able to get around much more quickly. My physiotherapist was Tyler Pearce. He was very professional but still easy-going, and was a pleasure to work with. I have a diagnosed social anxiety disorder, but he was still able to put me at ease and engage me with enjoyable conversation. Ordinarily I find these kinds of appointments and situations quite stressful, but he made the entire process enjoyable. If I ever need to return, or continue my physiotherapy when it is appropriate to do so, I would definitely go back. I would also recommend this clinic and my physiotherapist to anyone in a heartbeat.

I am a new client there. I was assessed by Steve who was thorough and asked a lot of questions. He prepared a program to help me with my injuries. I was scheduled right away. My therapists are fantastic. Very knowledgeable.You are greeted right away by a very friendly staff member who knows your name. She is efficient and never any wait. I have had to reschedule and this was done with ease. I have been to other physio places where I always felt like a number. This clinic is much different. It’s a warm atmosphere that puts you at ease right away. They always answer any questions I have had. And my injuries have shown improvement. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone

I've been coming for a few weeks because I've been experiencing some shoulder and arm pain due to a partial rotator cuff tear. The treatment has been good so far. A very small one-room clinic divided by drapes or small partitions, with no evidence of hot / cold towels, physiotherapy equipment, such as Tens ' machine, ultrasound therapy or parafin wax baths. One physiotherapist (Steve) and an assistant appear to rely on manual physio and the use of varying widths of elastic bands, which they then encourage you to buy. In about 15 visits for the treatment of a broken wrist, I only had Steve about three times and his assistant the rest of the time. Sessions were about 15-30 minutes. After a new assistant arrived, I left for ProPhysio, where they have a more extensive treatment plan that I am still undergoing, due to the difficult nature of my injury. Another highly successful clinic recommended to me is Lifemark, 2249 Carling Avenue.

Both of my knees were damaged and I was in pain and had difficulty walking and sleeping. Hannah, the therapist was exceptional, taking me through my exercises, cupping my knees, taping my knee caps. She explained in a clear and careful manner what each procedure was attempting to accomplish. She was friendly and professional. I was very impressed with Meagan. I found your unit very small cramped and very cold in the waiting room as it is an outside wall. I had one visit when Meagan was away from a male physiotherapist I found him abrubt. He told me to remove my boots which were dry at the time. On my last visit there he was going outside in his sneakers and returning with them as they were clearly wet. He really needs to learn how to talk to seniors. On my last visit Meagan had started to treat me in the front room and he told her we had to move as he needed it. I was put in the small back unit which is really colterohipic. I just finished my treatment at Broadview Physiotherapy to rehabilitate my knee following arthroscopy and previous injuries. I had the pleasure of being treated by Steve who is attentive and highly skilled. I really like this clinic. I feel that Steve, my physiotherapist, really knows me and what I need to do to get better. I had two broken bones in my left shoulder, one of them fairly messy and required surgery. So I am learning exercises to help me overcome the pain of scar tissue and with Steve's help, can move my arm further every day. I do some of the work at home, and realize that I really need to do this to improve more quickly. I have already recommended this clinic to people I know, and will continue to do so.

No explanation of expectations for my reporting of pain and discomfort, so that misunderstandings were the norm, in spite of me trying to get clarification. Severe lack of adaptability for my weight related flexibility restrictions. Overall, I felt like I was putting them out for being there. Except for Luke - he was unfailingly polite and attentive and adaptable.

I was referred to pt Health by my family physician for osteoarthritis in the fall of 2019. My Physiotherapist T was very thorough and helpful. He explained each exercise and often checked if I was comfortable doing them. After each session I got a printout of exercises so that I could do them at home. The only equipment required was a stretch band. Overall, I would say that my osteoarthritis in my knees improved and I didn't have to use Tylenol Arthritis more than two times. Great clinic. I have been treated by Steve for 2 different sports injuries and he, along with Luke (his assistant), have been very effective, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have taken the time to answer my questions and explain things to me. Validate parking for an hour so that helps negate any parking cost. Only downside is the clinic is a little small, so if you needed more room for certain training, it might not accommodate it well.

I was treated for upper arm pain by two very nice assistants over four sessions. My dr. had first referred me for an MRI, but I was required to have other tests first. The excercises could have helped if it were a muscular problem. But I am still feeling some discomfort, so the MRI might be next to rule out a soft tissue problem. Clinic staff was welcoming and friendly.
