Kevin's been helping me for the past 6 months. After coping with neck pain and chronic headaches since I was a teenager (now 30), the pain was just getting too much and was impacting my life in every capacity. I couldn't focus at work, I was always feeling tired, I was suffering from anxiety attacks among and it felt like I got injured at every physical activity I was trying (bouldering, lifting, running, biking) I had seen well over 15 practitioners with little to no improvement (and in some cases, things got worse). This included medication, physio, chiro, scans, naturopathy, dr. Google and on and on... Instead of focusing on treatment first, Kevin has a sense for details and human behaviour. Kevin is an athlete that seems to value having a healthy, active and happy life - I think this should be reflected in every practitioner working in healthcare. His attitude to keep the lines of communication open has been shockingly refreshing... I've never had this level of support and care from a practitioner (other than my RMT). He was able to detect a very simple and fundamental issue that no other practitioner noticed or cared to share with me. Undoing 30 years of habits isn't easy, actually, it's the hardest thing I have done in my life. However, I feel like I am getting my life back with less pain, less headaches and I just simply feel less stressed. For that I am eternally grateful. If you are currently struggling and have seen no improvement with your injury for a few months with a practitioner, STOP and REFLECT. It's normal for healing to not be linear (things got a lot worse for me when I started, mainly because I pushed myself too hard and ignored some of Kevin's advice) but it is not normal to see no change over a span of time. Although physio might not help, I think it is worth seeing Kevin to make sure physio can't help.
