Anyone looking for an amazing physiotherapist look no further than Tim at Lifemark. My husband and I both see him for treatment and are so happy we found him. The whole experience from calling and booking our appointments (front desk ladies are so kind) to receiving our treatments is wonderful. Tim is a dry needling genius, so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Lifemark to everyone I know. Thanks for being so awesome Lifemark!:)
Knowledgeable staff, great equipment and the front staff is a real pleasure to chat with
Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough group of recovery specialists. Special thank you to Stephanie Houlberg -Kinesiologist and Tim Wray -Physiotherapist. Always greeted with a warm smile no matter how busy they are. Thank you for all your help.
I’ve been treated by Ashley Piggot and received excellent care. All of the staff have been friendly, thorough and professional. Sandy at the front desk has always been helpful and the clinic director Cory checks in on progress. Occasionally a golden retriever service dog is on site and always makes my day. There is plenty of parking located behind the building as well on the street in front.
I don't know what the other people that work at this place are like.. But DON'T waste your money or time going to Iby Falade that works here. I filled out at form on-line before I got there. Iby Falade did not take the time to look it over before I got there. When she started to ask me the same questions I pointed out that they were on file in there system. She went out but could not find them in there computer. Yes I do know they were there. As after I filled out the forms from home, I call to see if it was in there system. Iby Falade was late starting with me as she went over her time with the other person before me. This I know as she was working right beside me with them, when I was waiting for her. But my time did end on the 1/2 hour, as I am sure it was the end of her work day. My doctor told me to get into physiotherapy 2 weeks after my operation. This I did with Iby Falade, she looked at my neck and told me it was too tight to do anything with. This is after my doctor had seen me 3 days before to say my neck looked good and get going with my physiotherapy. I walked out of there with less money, and got some exercise's via e-mail. Turn your head this way, look up, look down, look right and left. This I was doing on my own. Before I went and spent money on what I thought was a expert. What a joke, so keep looking for someone that knows what they are doing. Don't waste your money or time, going to see Iby Falade. I hope this gives you a small idea how I feel about this experience
Great staff and really nice Physiotherapist!! I will be booking again once she is in the insurance system so my insurance covers it right away!
A professional & well trained staff, who interact in an ameliorating caring manner. My personal injury was slowly and methodically treated in a progressive & efficient manner with satisfactory results. I would highly recommend their treatment centre, a well managed business. Thank you all.
Fabulous knowledgeable staff. Great area for initial consultations, & Level 1 physio facilities, all the way to Full occupational Level 1 & 2 physiotherapy. This staff was so immensely important and thorough with my recovery. I cannot Thank ALL of my Physio team, on what I feel is a 100% recovery, after a detrimental injury to my knee
Awesome experience with Iby at Lifemark! She helped me understand why I'm in pain and how we are going to fix it. Michelle and Nicole at the front desk are great and very helpful, always smiling faces from everyone there. ????
Super professional and friendly clinic. My Physio carefully and accurately diagnosed the issue I was suffering from and was super helpful in outlining exercises to help fix the issue. The Physio was super patient with me and did a great job of ensuring I had no questions on the diagnosis or exercises. Great clinic!
I received excellent care from Ashley with my back pain. She gave me some exercises to do at home that have helped as well. The front staff was very friendly and helpful
I feel comfortable and well taken care.
The quality of care I experienced with Lifemark Kamloops was above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Sandy welcomed me pleasantly to the facility from the beginning, and every appointment to follow. She always did everything in her power to ensure my time with at the practice was comfortable and beneficial. Ashley is a very kind, passionate, caring, and educated physiotherapist that always prioritized my needs throughout the healing process. The progress I made with her over just a few short months amazed me. I highly, highly, highly recommend this physiotherapy practice to anyone in search of a physiotherapist.
Not very personal to me
Amanda was amazing, professional, compassionate! She spent the extra time to let me try the ball chair and took the time to listen.
Friendly staff good therapist
The staff here are very pleasant, helpful and I would recommend this facility to anyone injured, they are AWESOME.
I am so thankful to the team at lifemark Kamloops. I was treated with care and respect. Not only did they help me to be able to move without pain, they also taught me so many things that I can incorporate into my daily life to keep me moving forward and not going backwards after my injury. A terrific team who I am thankful for.
Physiotherapist Ashley Kulchyski demonstrates true professionalism and expertise! She is highly knowledgeable and current in her field. She quickly diagnosed my issue, she provides in office therapy to relieve my symptoms, and a personalized exercise program to strengthen target areas! I have developed an excellent rapport with her and she always listens carefully and works with me to meet my needs. Furthermore, the front desk staff is amazing! Nicole and Michelle are incredibly friendly, welcoming, efficient and professional. There is a positive vibe all around. This is a great clinic.
I was referred to lifemark by worksafebc for the OR2 program. Lifemark=Lifechanging. Go into the program with a open mind and results will show. The team there is great Nicole and Michelle deserve a raise for how organized they keep everything and no matter how bad of a day you have after talking to them you walk away with a smile. Cory, Tom and Emiko thank you for listening and pushing me on the good days and reminding me to slow down too :). Last but not least Cheryl. Cheryl is a gift to Kamloops and I will continue seeing her after OR2. Thank you for everything!
Qi was very good at overcoming the speech barrier and finding exercises that would work with my injury and work schedule, (finding stretches and activities I could quickly do at work or at home or even changing my existing regime to make it more tolerable for my body seeing how I wasn't in the greatest shape to start out with) with a great attitude overall from not only her but all the staff I encountered it made the whole process heaven compared to passed experiences.
Ashley Piggot worked with me through rehabilitation on my knee. She was extremely professional and patient with me, and my appointments were never rushed. Through her help I have been able to achieve a new level of mobility after my accident. Thank You so much for all your help.
I can’t say enough good things about Sandy at the front desk and Ashley my physiotherapist! Sandy has everything organized! She is always friendly and makes me feel welcome! Ashley my PT is amazing! She is helping me recover by being supportive, advocating for me, teaching me stretches and exercises to promote my physical healing. She listens to the challenges I am facing and helps me in overcoming them. She utilizes other forms of treatments such as traction, massage, and ultrasound. I have experienced so much improvement and am looking forward to continued healing! Flo the golden retriever who works at the clinic in another program deserves to be mentioned, she always brightens my day when she says hello! I would recommend Lifemark in Kamloops to anyone!!! Everyone is lovely and I am seeing great results!!!
Qi was very professional and very friendly her expertise has carried me a a long way through my recovery. The receptionist was very friendly and always obliging.
Qi Xu was an exceptional physiotherapist but also gave me great advice on nutrition ,truly, above and beyond expectation. Thanks ,this big guy is gonna miss your excellent treatment! Also, front receptionist is very friendly and accommodating.Truly the best Physio place I've dealt with in my 47 years. Thanks Lifemark for hiring awesome staff.Keep up the excellent work!
I started as a patient in the OR program where I worked with Cory, Maddie, Tom and Emiko to fix a back injury. They were always able to work closely with me to adjust or increase my exercises to be sure I always got the most out of the program. After I was discharged I started seeing a physiotherapist, Katie, to help a neck injury. Katie is very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. She is very good at connecting with patients and explaining things in a way that everyone can understand. She is also very encouraging and understanding. The two secretaries, Nicole and Michelle, are very welcoming and friendly. They are always greeting everyone with a smile and are great at supporting patients in their lives in and out of the clinic.
Highly recommend Stephanie Houlberg for kinesiology. I am amazed how I show up with my body hurting and Stephanie teaches me stretching and strengthening to make it better. Thank you so much Stephanie
I injured my back at work. I was given Iby Falade as my physiotherapist. While doing my initial assessment she would not help me on the table, then she raised my left leg which was my good side until I felt the pain in my back. Then without warning raised my right leg so quickly that it took my breath away and It took me a few seconds to get my words out through the tears to let go! She continued to hold it there while I repeated to her to let go. I was in such pain I just recall her telling me at that time that I might want to take an extra pain medication and add heat to help. I could barely walk when I left the building. The next day, I returned to ask for another physiotherapist and was complaining when Iby walked up and I told her "you really hurt me yesterday"! Iby then assured me that today is just about pain management and went into explaining the electro machine. I hesitantly agreed. She put it on, walked away and got to another patient. I had to shout for her to remove it as it was too hot. She wasn't quick enough so I was trying to remove it when she entered. Once sitting up she got me to wait at the entrance chair and explained to me that she didn't recommend for me to return to work but after speaking to my workplace decided to agree to let me try. I had a Dr's note stating absolutely no work for 2 weeks and then to review after that. She went against the doctor's orders. I then realized she'd finished the paperwork without me and sent it out to all parties including WSBC. A few days later I called to get another physiotherapist. I was told no one else was available. When I tried to place a formal complaint, I was told by the girl who answered that they don't have a Director presently to place a complaint with and the new one won't be there for at least another month. So now, I was re-injured with nowhere to go! I received bad advice as to home exercises and to apply heat when it should have been cold therapy. She has prolonged my recovery by not knowing her job. BEWARE!!
So far so ????????
I recently completed physiotherapy for a significant shoulder injury and couldn’t be more pleased with the process and end result! Lisa at the reception desk was my first contact setting up my assessment and subsequent treatment appointments. She was always so positive, proficient, friendly and upbeat! As was her counterpart! Ashley, the physiotherapist who treated me was absolutely amazing! So competent, knowledgeable and professional but also very personable, friendly and encouraging! I would highly recommend this awesome facility and the amazing staff! Richard Enns
I recently completed physio to repair my “tennis elbow” with Tim Wray. Tim’s skill while keeping me apprised of the process created a recovery that has been quicker than I anticipated. The whole process from reception to physio and out was seamless and client centred. Would go back anytime.
What an amazing team. Supportive and friendly one couldn't ask for a better set of individuals to get back up and moving after an injury. Recovery programs are tailored to individual needs and every aspect promotes recovery as well as education on how to avoid reinjury in the future. Special thanks to Jen, Thomas and Shannon for overseeing my personal workouts, stretches and overall physical and emotional health.
Excellent staff and facility.
Great experience at Lifemark with Elyse! She was very friendly, attentive to my questions, and gave me great suggestions on injury management at home.
My experience with Lifemark was awesome. The receptionists were always smiling and making a you feel comfortable. Ashley my physiotherapist was fantastic..
Have had great success here working with Qi Xu. Very knowledgeable and caring keep up the good work
I was 10 minutes late because I have a new born and a torn calf muscle so they cancelled my appointment and told me to come back another time. As you can imagine my calf is now throbbing and I've made my way back to the car and back to the house.
I went to Life Mark Physiotherapy after being fairly inactive for a year due to cancer treatment. I am sure I had lost most of my muscle tone and just walking up a flight of four steps was a chore. On top of that I had several old injuries that I was scared to aggravate. I had also developed breathing problems. It was difficult for me to get back into shape on my own. This team of people are all awesome. If there were exercises that bothered my old injuries, they simply showed me a different exercise that would do the same thing without the irritation. They guide you daily on what to do, watch you do it, monitor your progress, ask if you are having difficulties, work with you at your pace so that you do not get hurt, and treat you with respect no matter what shape you are in. In the time I was there I was able to build enough strength to take my kayak out on some short adventures, I was even able to lift it into the back of the truck on my own. I completed a hike with my brother-in-law to the Top of the World. I am able to ride my bike again. These may seem like small simple things to some but this is a huge step from where I was and I owe it all to the great group of professionals at Life Mark Physiotherapy in Kamloops. I believe if you really want to build up your strength after any sort of injury or illness, these people can help you do that. I have a long way to go to be back to my old self but at least now I have a strong base to work with and will be able to succeed on my own from here on in. Thank you so much for that. Linda Evert
Qi and Elyse were incredibly helpful in rehabbing my shoulder. Both are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
Stephanie has been incredibly positive and cheerful every single session. Her patience and attitude towards children is wonderful.
