Brutal abusive financial staff. They drove me away although I had $500 in coverage. They treated ME poorly because of past history with bad clients.?I am going to make a professional complaint. My bank never heard of their practises. I am an honest person who has paid about &100,000 over time for cars houses dental and orthodontic work. I am forced to go elsewhere. This is not a health care facility. This experience negativity affects your health both mentally and physically. Like I said I will be making a complaint to the governing bodies for Physiotherapy as well as institutions regulating financial practises such as yours that are unheard of in any business that I have dealt with. You can explain your fiscal policies to the agencies and associations that I contact. ALSO Sun life is making a direct payment according to my documentation. Now who is looking suspicious now keeping void cheques or credit card info.,?

I had my first RMT massage with them in September 2019 and it was fantastic! Strong, deep and I continued to feel better for a few days. The staff were all very pleasant and professional. Gillian did the intake and Jen gave me the massage. The other clients waiting in the sitting area seemed happy and I struck up a conversation or 2 and they reassured me that this was an above average clinic. I must concur. I've been back an will return. I may even spring for the massage membership, it was "that" good!

I've been dealing with Lifemark since it was on Garth st. From seeing Stan, Brian and all the Jessicas. Yes there is a few of them. And the front desk ladies. You walk in and it feels very family oriented. The treatments they treat you with are detailed to your injury that needs to be healed and make you feel better. I know, I have had alot of them. With there amazing knowledge of a human's body and they way it works is outstanding. As an example, my family doctor and couldn't figure out why my knee was sore. She sent me to physio. I selected Lifemark. During my assessment he said you tore your ACL. Wow! He was right! They prepared me for surgery and helped me after my surgery and build my strength back. Ever since that I always came back to Lifemark! Thank you Lifemark! You guys are the best!

They are friendly. I love this location my Physiotherapist Jessica Lammers is amazing. I also enjoy my visit with a lady named Kathy there she is amazing as well. Kathy does my Ultrasound on my ankle and she is so gentle. Troy makes me laugh every time I go there. Jenna the Secretary is always most pleasent when I talk to her on the phone. Even when I am having a bad day I always get cheered up when I go there. It is always a joy going to Physiotherapy. They really make it enjoyable. What an amazing bunch of people.

The staff is all so great and always really helpful. The only thing to note is that because they're always so busy, you have to wait quite a while between exercising in the gym and being seen by your physiotherapist. I usually end up taking about 90 minutes at each appointment as a result.

After having researched a few Physiotherapy clinics on line, I made my decision based on the simplicity of the site and the information that was there regarding their Therapists'. All of it VERY ACCURATE!!!!! I was in a very bad way before coming here. After only a few weeks I could see some improvement in this short a time. The staff here is fantastic!!!!!!!! ALL OF THEM!!!!! They are friendly, positive, encouraging, and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE in what they do. They know and understand what my end goal is and they are ALL working hard with me to achieve this end. Have had rotator cuff on both shoulders since 2010. Have attended both times for physio at this location. Amazing staff, very knowledgeable, and recovery on both occasions has been from living in pain for years (especially at night) prior to surgery and in less than a year having no pain and able to return to normal activities including golf. The physio part of the after surgery process is as far as I'm concerned just as important as the actual surgery and Brian and his team were extremely helpful and professional. They know what they are doing. If it were anything different I would not have returned for rehab on the other shoulder in 2016. Thank you again Brian. Sheldon Roberts

Great staff. Clean facility. Happy to return if I need more help! They gave me some great ground work to continue at home! Edit: now that it’s been a while I can be honest. I have a new place closer to home that I love. The reception staff at this Lifemark are awesome, and seriously deserve a raise! However.... As far as Physio went, my therapist gave me my exercises, and then I showed up, went to the gym and did the work without supervision. A physio student hooked up the tens and got the ice. I saw my therapist for less then 5 minutes each visit. Then on my last day, I was pressured to give a glowing review before I left. I was repeatedly told by the PT to log into the free wifi and go to google to give a good review before she’d move to let me get off the bed and put my shoes on. Telling her I’d do it when I got home was just not acceptable for her. So, to recap, ya it’s clean, the reception staff are the only real reason to go there if you are going for PT...

I tried this location close to my current home. Although processes are slightly different to my previous, the attention to the care and rehab of the clients is the primary. They are intent in making sure you feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing maximum benefit for the work involved.

Very dissatisfied with their service . 5 weeks after hip replacement surgery and they have yet to give me exercises . This even after being told to start moving faster . What put me over the top was when I came in this week and was told to go to the gym area and the girl I would be working with would be there . No one was there so once again I got on the bike and started to peddle . I did about 10 mins worth . By this time Troy had come back with an other client and was working with him . Not one person said a word to me until I was leaving and I was asked to make an appointment for 2 weeks for Troy to give me more exercises. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this site to anyone. It’s sad it seems I was just there for them to get their government money and that’s it . Truly a ripoff!!!! Mike Fleming

Lifemark accepts ODSP patients as well as OHIP for certain circumstances. While the building is dated, they have a very large variety of physio equipment and treatments for patients, decent sized gym, really friendly and knowledgeable staff, and flexible hours to book appointments. Have been a patient here numerous times and would use again if I require physio in the future.

From the initial assessment after her fall and shoulder injury this time, throughout the treatment in the clinic, and in explaining and reviewing the home program, I was confident that everyone there had her best interest and healing at heart. The entire staff is cheery, knowledgeable helpful, patient and compassionate no matter what their position at the clinic, or their level of involvement with my mom, the patient/client. I went in to the clinic with a severely sprained ankle. I was assessed and immediately I was given exercises to help with the recovery. I went in limping with trouble walking and two weeks later I was walking with no trouble and I was back to work. The staff were all extremely friendly and overall it was a good experience.

I was swimming at the beach with my kids today and it occurred to me how much I was enjoying the full range of motion I had in my shoulder. Not a usual thought for a healthy person, but for me... wow. I was told, by my surgeon, not to expect to ever get that back. Then I remembered how, the whole time I was doing physio at Lifemark, I kept thinking to myself that I'd have to leave them a nice review. Kept forgetting. Never did, until now. It's been 8 months since my last visit. Brian was amazing. Sure, all the staff there were amazing, but I'm singling Brian out. He did the heavy lifting of actually putting my shoulder back into usable condition. It hurt. At times I felt like he pushed me too far or like he didn't understand what I was going through. He did. He's a pro. He kept finding the edges, the boundaries, and widening them just a little each time. Thanks to Brian I'll have an arm that can reach over my head or behind my back. I'll actually have an arm. You cats were all great and please don't feel snubbed that I'm not naming you all by name. It's just that I think people with injuries are likely to choose a physio clinic based on the therapist moreso than the rehab or support staff (all excellent, by the way). A dozen screws and plates in my arm and a doubtful surgeon, but Brian got me back. There's your review.

"Graduated" from physio today. THANKS to a great staff at Lifemark Mohawk at Upper Wellington. On time, Friendly. Professional. My improvement was steady and my knee is about 90% today, I can take it from here. Well worth considering if you need physio.

Great assessment and feedback. Edit April30.2018. I actually went for another appointment for a different issue and this time I saw a different physiotherapist. And I left with no conclusion on my injury and what the issue was. She insisted that people should never squat with their knees over the toes... and after my “initial treatment” as I was leaving, I overheard one of the ladies say “he’s still on his phone?!” Overall, there are much better options if you’re an athlete looking for treatment and injury prevention. I will not be coming back again.
