Physiotherapist was very helpful. They offered thoughtful suggestions on how to alleviate some discomfort and provide innovative material to aid physical stabilization of the affected joints. Front room staff were friendly and accommodating. COVID 19 precautions are in place but do not hinder service and support in any way.

I dislocated my shoulder 4 weeks ago and started physio 2 weeks ago. I could hardly move my arm and fingers. They gave me exercises to do that helped me tremendously as I did them daily at home and also gave me information on why I was numb. They not only are helping me to have full use of my whole arm and hand but mentally made me feel better as I am very active and work out daily. They created a workout that makes me feel mentally stable and happy to have a routine as I am use too.

I have used Empower in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia every time I required physio for different purposes:) The staff there are very friendly and helpful, constantly keeping your well being at the fore front. They always keep you as the most important aspect of the treatment and how you feel as an individual. I love Lorraine as she is so gentle and kind, as well as very thorough, and that comes across through her treatment ???? I've had treatment for a full knee replacement and got along so well. I also have stenosis in my back which flares up and I need treatment for that as well. I would recommend Empower to anyone that needed physio for an injury or a chronic problem???? The staff are knowledgable and work with you to get you back to feeling your best asap. Very clean enviroment and they direct bill which is great, saves me time????Keep up the good work Empower????

Micheal has been treating me for migraines and it has been helping. I have followed him wherever he been working just cause he knows excatly what I need. Karen, my OT, took great care of me. With the injury to my wrist, she set me up with a wrist widget and exercises to help, and she made sure to check in with me once a month to see how I was progressing. She also let me know when it was no longer required to continue to see her unless my pain worsened, which says a lot for her integrity. Many therapists will keep you coming long after it’s needed so they continue to get paid, but not the case here. Karen is amazing!
