Absolutely my favorite physio office in Whistler - Close to home, close to amenities, and easy to make an appointment on the same day sometimes. I've been treated by almost all of their experienced physiotherapists for several different major/minor injuries, knee & back & shoulder problems, and general body overuse strain. The whole staff has been a major help to keeping me going in the sports I love (skiing, biking, climbing). As an aging sports enthusiast of 37 years old, I have probably had to go see them way more than I would like; It's a good thing I have an extended health plan, which they can bill directly to my insurance. The onsite gym is spacious - has ample room to do rehab exercises. Aside from all the help I've had for being injury prone, it's always fun to talk to the friendly staff; despite injuries being difficult, everyone there is so positive and it helps with keeping a positive attitude during recovery. Thank you Lifemark Whistler Physio!

I am super happy to recommend him to anyone for assistance in recovering from a sports injury through to a chronic back/neck issue. If you need Physiotherapy, Kristy is the best there is. Very thorough analysis of your injury through to helpful exercises and on the road to recovery. When I first saw her I couldn’t walk without extreme pain. After about 3 months I was back to hiking with my dogs. Awesome - plus she makes me laugh too.

Well run office, spacious, clean, organized. Lorraine, the PT I worked with was great. She quickly diagnosed my injury - combination of micro tear of the achilles and PTFL strain and through a series of appointments over 10 days had me back on skis. My experience at Lifemark Whistler Physiotherapy was very positive. My therapist, Kristy LaMantia provided me with excellent treatment, utilizing a variety of modalities that allowed me to fully recover. She also suggested exercises to strengthen specific muscle groups and to reduce the potential for relapse. The Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) administered was very effective to relieve the muscle contracture that was the source of my injury. I would highly recommend Kristy to anyone requiring physiotherapy.

From the virtual appointments, to the in depth rehab program, to the clear understanding of what was going on while I waited for MRI results, to the consistency and continuity of care, to the advice on daily functioning, to brace fitting, to reviewing surgeon reports and writing recommendations to Drs, to her ability to have empathy and compassion that makes you feel like you will be more then ok....There is absolutely nothing more you could dream of or ask for in a highly experienced practioner or in the quality of care.

Super friendly staff! Went there for about 2 months, and always got new appointment very easily and quick. I had two appointments per week because of my knee injury. But I also got a couple for my back. The appointments are about an hour long (sometimes a bit longer because in the end I could decide if I want a head/ice pack on my injury!) Great would highly recommend!!!

First - I loved that I could submit my booking online, because it happened to be late a night when I obviously couldn't call in, and I just wanted to know I'd made the first step to feeling better! Second - The massage BLEW MY MIND. To be fair, I've only ever had RMT massage at a spa in the past, and I am totally open to the idea of "muscle memory" in terms of trauma and pain, but I found it so interesting that the therapist (Andrew) was focusing on areas that were not specifically causing me pain, but then ultimately relieved my pain. He was able to read my body and find the parts that were holding the trauma. Third - Easy of check-in and check-out - they direct billed to both ICBC and my insurance. Front desk was wonderful. I walked out and immediately recommended the whole experience to my sister and my mother. I will be back!

I started going to Whistler Physio earlier this year to work on improving my knee that has been through four operations and that still limited me from doing several activities like hiking and running. Although my knee steadily improved for many years after my last major operation in 2004 (a leg realignment), it had hit a plateau several years ago. It would still be in quite a bit of pain after skiing (especially touring), and even from just walking around on flat ground some days. I realized I couldn't even take a straight step up stairs with my left leg—it would wobble from side to side on every step! After going to Drey (Andrea) for several months, I was able to hike and run again for the first time in 20 YEARS with minimal to no pain. My previously non-existent VMO muscle has come back along with greater balance, and the wobble in my step when going up stairs is gone. So here's a big THANK YOU to Drey for her excellent work and to all the great staff there at Whistler Physio. Highly recommend!

Screwed up my knee while skiing on vacation. They squeezed me in to see Andrea and get into a brace even though they were fully booked and then saw Anna for a Physio appointment the next day. Both ladies were very professional and knowledgeable. They informed me about both the MCL and possible ACL injuries and gave me my best options. Anna took the time to do several procedures including ultrasound, elecro stim, stretches and a cryo cuff. They didn’t rush me out of there and took the time to ensure I got the most out of my treatment and then gave me exercises and instructions for the rest of my vacation. As someone who’s been too a lot of physio I know good physio when I see it. Highly recommend.

Waited 5 minutes in lobby after appointment time. Discussed my issues for 5 minutes in massage room. Got changed then waited on table for another 5 to 10 minutes. Finished massage a couple minutes before scheduled arrival time. Was told that I should come in tomorrow for more time. .... Don't think so at $115 /hr for 45 min or less on the table hearing that i might have compartment syndrome that is actually a medical emergency.

I had knee surgery a year ago so I wanted to make sure it was as good as possible for skiing again. The Receptions was great in organising a time and suggested I bring my knee brace along as well. The Physio I saw was brilliant. She really knew her job and spent the time to work on my knee and then made sure my brace was set up correctly. I went back the next day after sking and saw a different Physio who was also really really good. She was very thorough and made sure everything was good. In summary, excellent proffesional service and great value for money. Thank you.
