Well, he obviously want you to come back and get more appointments ($$$). Got some heat, electrodes (i have them at home) and disappointment. Didn't feel like i seing some results for the reason that i had 4 or 5 appointments and he almost didn't do anything on me but exercices the very last appointment that i told him i was making them already everyday at yoga, didn't get some more exercice. He told me that he didn't want to do so much and go slowly so I'm not working bad after that because of the pain. Over all, i used all the money covered for the insurance and didn't see any results. Im doing acupuncture for my jaw and im having some brouses but at least its working and i see results and thats why you do physiotherapy ?!

I have waited several months to write this review because I wanted to have a second opinion before writing. My initial appointment at Black Gold was positive. Funsho reviewed some of my history of lower disc herniation and did his assessment. Shortly aftrr my appointment Lola sent me my exercises which I began immediately and completed in full every day twice a day (2 hours worth a day) .I returned for follow up, and Funsho did not do his follow up work. When I asked why he said he was too busy and does not have time to do such things. Is that not what I go to you for, informed analysis and treatment? That visit he had me waiting on the table 45 minutes and spent no more then 2 min with me. I of course walked out and cancelled future visits . Everyone is allowed to have bad days and busy days, but as a professional, you still need to be professional. I did not get professional treatment at BlackGold. 2020 Edit: Nice to see he also shares personal information in a public place. For the record, much of the recovery is done at home, not in the clinic. I did not come back as he advised because the second visit was a unprofessional joke. I have been going to Accel since leaving BlackGold. Much better treatment and much more professional.

I highly recommend Black Gold Physical Therapy!! Funsho has numerous years of experience in the physiology therapy field and has several devices that no other clinics have to speed up healing. The physiological therapist focuses in on your problem areas with appropriate treatment and correlating exercise to complicate your recovery. Personally I went from little mobility in my arm/ shoulder to regaining strength and more mobility . I have tried other locations and they have done me more harm then good, due to lack of experience. It is so worth it when Staff always greets you with a smile and hows your day/weekend going? Having a Physiological therapist who actually listens to you is worth its wait in Gold!! Funsho humour is outstanding and keeps you distracted during treatment to over come pain or just keeping a simple conversation going.

At KP, I was actually there when this happened and agree with T Kemp's recollection of the conversation. Needless to say you should have booked an apt with the Dr. to discuss your matters in private not bombard or interrogate him while he was doing work on his client (me). I also have to strongly disagree with your opinion because the staff have always been amazing with me and my daughters who have to tag along. I have never witness him or any of his staff being rude to anyone. I was in terrible pain and could hardly walk when I first saw him, with the treatment I have recieved I rarely have pain by the time I am done I know I wont have any. Treatment wont cure you in just a couple of visits.

Funsho (Physiotherapist) is a very respectable professional. His assessment of my symptoms was very thorough...in fact he was able to order an x-ray for my painful hip which came back to be Heterotropic ossification; this was said on google search that it could be fatal!!! Thank you Funsho. I was wandering why he sent me to Insight Imaging instead of the Hospital...it was later on i realized how quick he got the report of the x-ray faxed to him... i did not even have to wait or book appointment for my x-ray. I trust his judgement...and will recommend him at any time.

I was actually at the clinic when the issue of the Said KP was around with his mother. here are the Facts!!! Mr. KP as he would like to be called was in the clinic. His Mother was being attended to by the Physical Therapist, and suddenly his mother beckoned to Funco that her son would like to talk to him...so He asked ...what would he like to talk about, and she said " I don't know... and funsco's response was that you know I am the only one here today...and very busy...she said okay it would take a moment... then He asked for him to come in and talk. when he got in ... the first state was .. did you scan for the neck...because even though the diagnosis was epicon...can't remember... ... so the physical therapist said he did a thorough eval, and agreed with the Physician diagnosis based on the Mechanism of injury, present symptoms and the objective findings.... but he said KP started an argument like trying to question the therapist's integrity and professional skill...he tried several times to re-direct KP that a detailed assessment was done to arrive at the current diagnosis... and he went on saying this has been going on for 7 months.....so immediately the therapist reminded him that his mother has only been to the clinic for treatment for about 4-5 weeks. At the end the physiotherapist then asked what KP does, and he claimed to be a Nurse who has worked with physiotherapists and Doctors....but he failed to realize that working in Private practice is different from work in Public. My TAKE: FUNSCHO is a well respected and well knowledgeable therapist that have helped several patients...yes...there is no perfect Nurse, Doctors or even Physical Therapist.....the fact that your mother did not notify funsho of the intent to bring you for a discussion and you came in when he was swamped with patients, and you wanted him to leave all his patients and attend to you is ABSURD. GET A GRIP!!! Funsho is an outstanding physiotherapist.

There are other clinics in Fort Mc that will treat you with respect and give you the proper care and treatments that you need. My mother has been seeing Funsho (physiotherapist/owner) for weeks and felt like she is not getting the best possible treatment. I my self am working in the healthcare field and was asking my mom why she felt that way. She mentioned about Funsho being rude and abrupt every time she asked him questions, and not really getting answers. I was visiting Fort Mc for the weekend and my mother asked me if I can accompany her at Funsho clinic to clarify her treatment plan. I am a registered nurse and work with different professionals whether it be a doctor, physiotherapist or respiratory therapist everyday and be an advocate for my patients. This time I am advocating for my mom. I have never met a physiotherapist that is rude, condescending, unprofessional and deffensive. Funsho is all this and then some. In my experience anyone who acts as such when being asked questions is incompetent. Funsho is not willing to explore other options to improve my mothers condition. He was rude not only to me but also my mom and the other patient that was present in the room during that time. Patients and family doesn't need to be treated as garbage. We all have the rights to know what kind of treatments they designed to us and adjust those treatments to what works best for us. YOU can report Funsho to Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association Especially to Thomas Palmer. Funsho clearly violated the oath he made about protecting patients information. What he posted about your WCB is a breach of confidentiality . Don't let him get away with it. Don't let him do this to another patient.

Dr. Funsho has been by husbands physical therapist for some time now and definitely knows his stuff. He is knowledgeable and professional and is always very patient and respectful with us when we visit and has an amazing staff. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The fact that you would share any of my personal information on Google, ie WCB, shows you have no class or professional ethic. You spoke quickly when introducing yourself so I asked your name again. To say I made fun of your name is despicable; not a common one, so I wanted to get it right. You were rude, abrupt with no professional etiquette as is evidenced in your reply.
