Helpful and professional care. Very supportive physiotherapy medical centre. Thanks to Hadi and Lazarela behalf of my father in law ( whom I was accompanied to each session because of his low back problems)for treatment with good result. This place start from front desk, secretary is amazing.
My experience at Pt physio has been amazing... beginning with the friendly staff to the great treatment by Farah. I went in feeling broken and in so much pain and now I am feeling so much better with exercises to complete at home. I would highly recommend as I am extremely pleased.
I can only say good things about the physiotherapists and receptionists at Six Points Physiotherapy and Rehab. - pt Health. Their facilities, however, need to be upgraded to accommodate the handicapped.
Very welcoming staff with excellent care and attention! I have used them more than once and am very happy to recommend them.
Very busy ,good staff but very small and door is not wheel chair friendly at all
Amazing place, amazing people! I was so impressed with Six Points Physiotherapy! Everyone was very professional, very knowledgeable, and most of all, they really cared about you and your treatments. In addition, they explain what they are doing, why they are doing it and what is the benefit to you. I felt very involved in my treatment and saw improvement quickly with the exercises I was given to do. I also did massages there and that was also perfect! I can't recommend this place highly enough!
A good physio practice with a nice space and staff. Therapists are very knowledgeable and reception are all friendly. Always leave feeling a somewhat better with my own issues.
Farah and her team are great! Welcome & friendly environment with keen attention to issues and productive exercises for recovery. Would recommend to anyone!
Not yet done with my physio, but I'm very happy with the attentive care of my physiotherapist, and the exercises and treatments my physio assistant is giving me. And you can use your Ontario Health Card to pay.
I enjoyed my visits to PT Health and my interaction with Farah was comfortable and most of all it was effective treatment. The operation was well run and not crowded or noisy. all in all it was as pleasant as "shock wave treatments" can be. Oh and Farah I am glad I was wrong about the Raptors. They did well. Thanks for your help.
This clinic is clean, bright, and is run efficiently. Agnes at the front desk is friendly and ensures your valuable time spent performing administrative, payment, and/or booking tasks is minimal. Farah is both caring and knowledgeable; She listens effectively and her assessment time is well spent. Farah is confident in her methods and never ceases think of innovative ways to further your treatment to produce better outcomes. Her appointments are always punctual, yet never feel rushed thanks to her efficiency levels. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this clinic and/or practitioner in the future, and am happy to have found them.
Great facility. Super clean. Staff are polite and friendly. I went for physio after hurting my back and Farah helped me feel better right after the very first session. The exercises she gave me were exactly what I needed to learn. Will definitely come back here if I need Physio again.
Farah is an excellent PT. Her assessment is on point as well as her therapy and assigned exercises. Felt immediate relief and improvement. She is also a joy to work with. 100% recommend.
The staff are accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. A great environment.
They have 3 physios working and they are ok. Sometimes you need to wait for long time until the physio takes you in though you are there on time. They will not apologise you for long wait. Before the treatment starts they will verify if you have doctor's reference and if the doctor is working with the clinic or not.
Pt Health team are all amazing and I highly recommend this place for everyone
Very well kept clinic , warm staff ,and all precautions are been taken.
What an amazing team - great professionals - wonderful results! Highly recommend them. Especially Patricia and Danny.
i went in after i had a sprained back. I saw Farah Mawani. She was fantastic. Really knows her stuff and was very helpful in explaining what had happened and how to take care of it in the future with proper exercise. Would recommend her and the clinic to everyone.
Excellent care from the staff as always. It is the place I put my trust, and know I will be in expert hands when I need physio care. Thank you Farah and staff.
The staff was very friendly, and always encouraged me to continue.
Thank you to Mini Singh and Danny Kimber for a very good job! My tennis elbow is gone now, thanks to you both for your excellent treatment. Your advice, treatment, and recommended exercises really worked! Also, you give us, your clients, a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I don't feel like talking to a doctor or an expert but instead I feel like talking to a friend. Kudos again to both of you! Keep up the good work!
really appreciated their honesty, told me after I started that I didn't have to come for anymore sessions, (dislocated shoulder) but I went back for one more just to show me weight lifting workouts for further improvement.
Farah is great! She really knows her stuff! I'm really happy with how well my treatment is going. The only complaint I have is about the limited parking. It gets difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Minor gripe, however.
I don't know where these stars come from. This is the Worst place ever. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. I was in dire pain and needed treatment right away. Was thrilled when I was told they could take me first thing. I showed up and wasn't in the system. Long story short, I left in tears because no one would see me because their system was down. They're a disorganized mess. Don't book online. Better yet, don't book at all.
If I could rate this location lower, I would. They do not want to help you get better fast, they only want to stretch out your treatment over a long period to get as much money as possible. After the initial assessment, I never saw the physiotherapist again. I was never given a long term treatment plan, and every subsequent visit I was left with assistants who are clueless. They also ushered me out of there after 20 minutes, and charged me for an hour repeatedly. When I finally left them and went to a real professional, I was told they had been milking me for money for 4 months; and that my issue could have been resolved within 5 weeks. The real professional had a masters degree from a Canadian university and fixed me up within 4 weeks. Meanwhile, the liars at Six Points Physio told me it would be another 3-6 months before I would get better. It is a scam. Stay far away!
4 th year for physio (surgery recovery). Good Location. Personable staff.
I received treatment and advice from Farah for a leg issue, that really turned out to be a foot issue. She worked to diagnose the problem and gave me exercises to work not only that problem but a very stiff hip, which she explained was at the root of other complaints. I appreciated that. When I discussed an alternate plan based on advice from my foot guy, Farah was receptive to that as well. She is very knowledgable and genuinely desires to see you improve.
Awesome place to get treated! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've found my physio place for life! Clean, well kept facility. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Worked very well for me. After few sessions there was visible improvement in mobility and strenght. It was real pleasure to work with Ms. Mawani. Highly recommended.
Patricia and Cristina are both exceptional physiotherapists! They take their time to give all their patients a great experience! Thank you again!
Best place to go and have yourself healed... Farah is just awesome ..... I had a severe lower back spasm ... she healed me within 2-4 sessions and was able to walk completely without pain...
Great service, professional, friendly and adhere to COVID-19 Safety Protocol.. All staff from front desk to my physiotherapists...”I’m so thankful for your help and support “ Lazarela - helped me to regain my strength on my right hip after my injury, the exercises she gave me were absolutely helped me to feel better and walk again without the aid of my cane. I highly recommend Six Points Physiotherapy And Rehabilitation-pt Health.
I broke my foot at work and afterwards needed to go to physio. Farah has been so kind and helpful in getting me back to where I need to be. Im grateful for her help and for this clinic. Thank you! January 2018 I recently hurt my back at work Oct 2020 and came back to Six Points Physiotherapy since I knew they'd fix me right up! The people who work here actually care about you, it's like having an extended family. This clinic is awesome and Im grateful to them. The massages are delicious! Thank you!
Wonderful. Had severe back and hip pain. The physiotherapy received really has lessened the pain considerably and I feel much more flexible. Lazarela is very good and I strongly recommend this facility. The assessment with Tara before and during is also very good.
This Physiotherapy shop provided excellent advice and results. In my case, when a collaboration between two therapists eventually decided on deep muscle therapy, their staff therapeutic massage specialist made the difference. I will return there in the Spring 2020
The staff at Six Point Physiotherapy are outstanding. They office staff and physiotherapist's are beyond professional and knowledgeable and always go the extra mile to help!
I want to thank Six points PT Physio and specially Farah and Mark for great job they are doing to rehab all my problems and get me back to be pain-free.
Nonprofessional. It took an hour for Brad to assess my health, but, unfortunately, he went to totally wrong direction by choosing exercises as my neurologist told, therefore my health(shoulders and neck) got worse. Obviously, Brad did not read the referral I gave to him. Otherwise their smile and pictures are nice.
Six points physio therapy did a great job in helping with my rehabilitation after breaking my kneck mountain biking. Thay are truly great people doing a wonderful service. I would highly recommend this clenic.
this place has been exceptionally accommodating of my fairly unique issues. although they can only cover so much through my OHIP qualification they have been fairly helpful in showing me a few options for post treatment as well. i cant speak for whats typical given my circumstances but i always felt that i was in good hands and i did achieve moderately good results attending.
Very disappointed overall. Initial meeting was waste of time. First visit kind of joke. For half an hour the exercises provided were totally silly. I found that was a waste of time. I dropped all the next visits.
Tara is an excellent physiotherapist. After a traumatic event- I had a shoulder replacement after a fall - one needs an understanding and knowledgeable therapist. Tara is both - excellent at her work assessing and bases her exercises on up to date materials. I would not have progressed as far as I have without her guidance. Thank you!
After booking my appointment over the phone and pointing out that I have family dr.'s referral, so i can have 10 sessions covered by OHIP, I was denied the service. I walked in to a receptionist chomping on her breakfast, and barely saying good morning to me( it is hard to eat, and greet people at the same time), informing me that i have to have referral from the hospital in order to receive the treatments. Than she proceide telling me that she can cancel my appoitment, and book me for another one in three weeks, where i would pay from my own pocket. At that point I already waited, in pain, for 3 weeks. In addition to that I had to organise care for my 3 month old, so i can atend the session. Very unprofessional and even though I didn't receive the treatment, i wouldn't trust physiotherapists working for this kind of company.
Staff are professional and friendly. The program developed for me was easy to follow and helpful.
My recovery has gone so well because of Pt Health and my physiotherapist Mitalee. She is very knowledgeable and has worked so hard to strengthen my broken bones and sprain. All the staff are pleasant, efficient and accommodating. Thank you pt Health!
I came to Six Points physiotherapy, complaining with pain in left leg. Farah Mawani was my therapist. I described the problem I was experiencing, and Farah, very quickly, diagnosed what is causing the pain. I had 5 therapy appointments with her. As a patient, I can tell that she is a fantastic specialist. Farah gave me a treatment, which helped me a lot. She is very professional, knowledgeable, calm and accommodating. I would recommend her to everyone. You will be heard and treated according to your needs.
These people here are lovely and very helpful. They went out of their way to help me! I would like to thank Lazarela and Tara for taking care of me! 100% would recommend this wonderful place.
Receptions and all were great and very help fully
After surgery in the summer, I required physiotherapy to further my recovery. I was fortunate to find Farah Mawani at pt Health – Six Points Physiotherapy last month. At the first interview I found Farah to be very personable. I immediately liked her and her approach and dedication to getting the results I wanted. She listened to my concerns, gave me options and then we decided which one would serve me best. With Farah’s guidance I am progressing well with my physio. She makes suggestions and changes to treatment as required. Farah is a true professional who always has my interests at heart. I am grateful to have her expertise, knowledge and support which will enable me to fully recover. Farah is the best!! Thanks Farah.
Took my Grandmother here. Had a really good experience. All the physiotherapists were great and the receptionists were very helpful.
One year ago I separated the AC joint in my shoulder. All the ligaments in the joint were completely torn and my choice was physiotherapy or surgery. I did my first round of physio at Six Points and they were great. Mini clearly explained the nature of my injury and how the various exercises and treatment would work to address the problem. Six weeks ago I reinjured the same shoulder while lifting a bed during an apartment move. I was seen within a day or two of when I called. Farrah was my therapist this time and did an excellent job. Again the nature of my injury was clearly explained to me. She pointed out the various muscles and ligaments involved, what they do and how we would restrengthen my shoulder. Farrah was very detail oriented and coached me a lot to ensure good form while I was doing my exercises. As a bonus she was also fun to chat with. In total I did 6 weeks of physiotherapy and my shoulder healed remarkably fast. In other reviews some people felt that their treatment was prolonged unnecessarily. While every case is different, if you don't follow up your treatment by doing the exercises at home your rehab will take considerably longer. In conclusion, I received excellent treatment from all of the staff at Six Points Physiotherapy.
Excellent service and very personable staff who "know their stuff". Highly recommend.
I have found everyone at Six Points Physiotherapy to be courteous, professional, and above all, extremely knowledgeable. My journey is not over yet, but I have no doubt that with your help, I will return to an active life.
I phoned my doctor to thank her for recommending pt Health. Farah is an outstanding physiotherapist. She is patient, encouraging and prescribes exercises that quickly strenghten my injured areas. She is genuinely interested in my health and well being. I have learned so much from her. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The clinic is cheery and spotless. I highly recommend pt Health to clients who want to work with a professional staff and receive exceptional service.
In two years this is my second visit to Six Points Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Previously, I had severe heel pain which has been resolved quickly with proper exercises and recommendation how I should exercise at home to prevent repeated heel pain. Currently, I had repeated injury of my elbow and shoulder and pretty much my right arm was quite useless for even regular daily activities. Farah, my physiotherapist decided to take step wise approach fixing my elbow first and stabilizing my shoulder, as elbow pain decreases, afterwards. With her professional and friendly help I am on recovery path and I beleive that soon I will be able to do my favorite pull ups. My personal schedule is quite unpredictable; however, friendly front desk staff always gladly accommodated my request for appointment re-booking. Definitely, I would recommend Six Points Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and this team if you in need for professional, friendly patient centered physiotherapy treatment.
I would like to thank Farah, the entire team and staff at Six Points Physiotherapy. I have been a patient there for close to two years. Farah has helped me rehabilitate my shoulder after a surgery. The constant positive reinforcement and progressive movements toward the full use and range of motion of my shoulder; reassured me that I would eventually regain the functionality of my arm. I have continued to attend Six Points Physiotherapy on a regular and consistent basis to ensure the over all health and well-being to myself and my shoulder. During the shutdown of most businesses; Six Points Physiotherapy offered a virtual online format where I had the opportunity to work with Farah from a distance. I found my sessions very helpful and helped stave off the COVID-19 isolation issues. I have also had the experience of the massage therapist named Sukbir. I am also thankful for this incredible benefit which Six Points Physiotherapy has to offer. I shall continue to remain loyal to Six Points Physiotherapy and once again say thank you for the great service.
Patricia and Danny are welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable team. I was diagnosed with my shoulder (left) impingement. In the morning after my first session, I had noticed that I was holding my left hand in the left pocket of my coat. Wow! I’ve not been able to do that since getting problem with my shoulder (more than half a year ago). I’ve got huge improvement in my shoulder in less than 2 months. We need more people like Patricia and Danny team out there. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
So greatful for the whole team at SixPoints. After a skating fall resulted in a pelvic break and torn rotator cuff, they have brought me back to life! Maybe not skating, but quality of life. Thanks Team????
If you are looking for physiotherapy treatment go to Farah Mawani she is amazing she cares a lot. Thank you Farah for the great help you provided me with
Very professional staff and friendly to deal with and really know how to fix what hurts. Highly recommended
Really friendly staff! Started to feel better after just one visit! Highly recommended
I believe your experience here will be contingent on whether your sessions are funded by OHIP or private insurance. I had OHIP-funded physiotherapy, following a diagnosis of compartment syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, and paralysis in both lower limbs. I went here because it was close to me and one of the few practices that accepted Ohip. First to note is this 'rehab business' is not wheelchair or accessibility-friendly: the owner did not opt for any mechanical opening of the entry doors, which was a telling omen of things to come. Using a rollator and manipulating a heavy door by myself with winter gear on was maybe an unattended part of the physiotherapy, but did not seem like a patient-focused professional business. The secretary was competent but not especially friendly and didn't go out of their way or anything; not once did the staff assist me with the door when I was coming and going with my mobility devices These taxpayer-funded 'sessions' involved me being left by myself in a corner to do various sets of foot or leg lifts, with a physiotherapy assistant checking on me every 10 min. At minimum 30% of the time I was totally unattended to and waiting for further instruction The last 15 minutes of my session involved me sitting in an chair hooked up to an ems machine, again generally completely unattended to. I couldn't help but notice the other patients appeared to have a dedicated, educated assistant their entire sessions, conversing with them and advising them on personal home care and other matters. After a number of these 'sessions' I stopped attending because this was something I could do at home without wasting taxpayer money (the wheeltrans i used to get there, and however much money the province paid for each session of 'care'). Did feel like a scam, and also relatively dehumanising and depressing. Also the places by the exercise balls was dirty and had literal dust.
Badly sprained my ankle on a business trip to Germany and could hardly move it as it was so bruised and swollen. So glad I went to Six Points Physio and requested for Farah (based on great feedback on their website). I told Farah that I had to travel again at the end of July and needed to be able to walk and drive using my right foot. Farah was really so patient with me and had exercises that I needed to do that truly helped. She also did an ultrasound every time I came in (2x/week) and it really helped a lot in getting the blood flow. I would highly recommend Farah! The only downside is that sometimes I would call to make an appointment and the phone would ring several times (more than 10X) and no one answered the phone.
Did not have a good experience here! Staff did not create or communicate a treatment plan, I was never seen or treated by the physiotherapist herself after the initial assessment, PTA often had no idea what my treatment was supposed to be & often began treatment on the wrong body part, facility is cramped & there is no privacy for patients while they receive treatment, and treatment was limited to simply hooking me up to the electrotherapy machine & then doing ultrasound for a few minutes. Very disappointing and would not recommend!
A schedule was set up for my therapy. Have a stiff neck. Did different exercises which helped. I was given a chart showing which exercises to do at home to have better posture. David Doyle
Farah at pt Health has been an amazing help! I came to this clinic about a month ago and the change im feeling after my injury is amazing. Her techniques have proven to be absolutely great, considering other clinics typically put the pads on your back and give you a quick massage only to see no results. Farah will analyze your situation, determine the underlying issue, and will work with you to make sure the main problem is addressed and treated. It is clear that she helps her clients by customizing each treatment based on their needs. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone who’s looking for physio treatments that actually work
Great office and service. Farah is amazing and has help me tremendously.
I was fortunate to have been referred to this clinic by my Orthopaedic Surgeon. I had ORIF surgery with 6 screws, a plate and a bone implant because of a fall that resulted in a broken fibula. Farah Mawani is my Physiotherapist and is so engaging and helpful during my treatment. She encourages me to push ahead(in a good way) with an eye to increased range of motion. And has had a huge impact on my recovery. She listens and is caring and patient. All very wonderful attributes when dealing with painful rehabilitation. Highly recommend Six Points Physiotherapy!
This was our first visit to Six points. I had accompanied my husband who needed the Physio. He signed in there was no one at the reception, but very soon the young lady appeared, she totally ignored us not even a hello. After fifteen minutes my husband approached her and asked her if she was going to check us in, she was extremely billigerent, we were rather taken aback , while we were filling the info needed! I noticed she had the same attitude with all the clients as well as the staff, we really became very apprehensive as to the policy of Six points Physio. Soon a physiotherapist came in introduced herself very politely as Mini Singh and accompanied my husband to the treatment room. While they were away, there was an exchange between the young lady Ms. Leah Brown and me on some info. She was so rude that I decided to get my husband and leave the premises. The five stars are for the curtesy, empathy and professionalism shown by Ms. Mini Singh after the episode, God bless her. I would advise the management to take this episode seriously and investigate the reason for the belligerence shown by. Ms. Brown. I have been in Canada 26 years and have never come across such behavior as displayed by your receptionist . Yours Truly Najma Qayyum
Six Points Physiotherapy is a gem! Agnes is lovely and ensures your safety when you walk in. You are always greeted with kindness and a warm smile. I highly recommend Farah for any sort of physiotherapy or rehabilitation work. Her professionalism is outmatched and she has wonderful bedside manners. She is also a delight to talk with and listens to your needs and concerns. Farah uses a variety of techniques that will surely help you on your road to recovery. If you are looking for a massage therapist, I highly recommend Mark. He has calm disposition and is exceptionally knowledgeable in RMT therapy. ~ A wonderful place all around.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Clinic hours are also very good. I would definitely recommend.
I have been having virtual Physiotherapy for about 6 weeks after fracturing my hip with Tara Church and it has been extremely beneficial. She has provided me with numerous exercises and guidance on day to day management . I believe my recovery has definitely been enhanced because of these sessions.
Farah helped me several times when my neck was very stiff and needed urgent treatment. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. It has been hard for everyone lately due to the pandemic, but the clinic take multiple measures to lower the risk. Hand sanitizers, temperature monitoring, sanitizing areas patients has touched, etc. And no need to mention, mask is required. Six points will be my first choice if I ever need any sorts of physio, and will definitely come back if needed.
Farah (Physio) & Mark (RMT) are both fantastic. They focus on what you need and want done and not what they want to do. Both are attentive and respectful to limitations and requests. I would highly recommend anyone who needs or wants physio or massage to visit them.
From my first visit to my last visit, all personal acted with humour, professionalism and due diligence in all facets of their jobs. Diagnosis and treatment were carried out in a precise and decisive manner. I feel that the treatment was accurately directed to the problem I was having and concluded in a positive manner. I also felt very safe with the protocols in place due to the corona virus. I would highly recommend this facility to all.
Highly recommend it! I went there after a double fracture of the fibula and had the pleasure of working with Mitalee Dalvi. She was very attentive and caring after a thorough assessment. The progress was amazing and fast, all I had to do us my homework and magic happened!! Thank you again Mitalee for everything.
Brought my parents for their OHIP appointments and the physiotherapist really took his time. The treatments were great also and I'm glad I've found a place that gives good services to seniors. I also had some massages time to time here with Celina and she is amazing. Definitely one of the better therapists I've come across.
Back in late Oct of 2020 i injured my lower back. Three days post injury, I went to my local P.t Health location for physio. The physiotherapist I was assigned to was Mitalee Dalvi. Mitalee is a very competent physiotherapist. I went from walking like a penguin with severe lower back stiffness and pain to pretty well full function and range of motion of my lower back. Mitalee not only treats the initial symptoms. However, comes up with a prevention plan. Including core strengthening. I would highly recommend Mitalee for your physiotherapy needs.
Farah Mawani and the staff at pt Health - Six Points Physiotherapy are excellent!! They provided knowledge, support and guidance that all lead to a quick recovery. Thank you so much!
From the start the staff were both welcoming and friendly. Both the assessment and re assessment informed me as to what was going to take place for my treatment. On the follow up was shown additional home exercises to ensure continuing success.
Both Mini and Dan where very good with the treatments and I was able to recover from my injury within a short period of time. They explained the actions which were to take place and also worked on certain areas of the body in order to strengthen the injured area. The entire staff was courteous and professional throughout the entire process.
I have been attending this clinic for about a month. The staff are friendly, courteous and scheduling is usually on time. My sessions have helped me tremendously and would recommend this Clinic to those searching for one.
The team at Six Points is absolutely amazing! They took such good care of my injury and I had a wonderful experience! The physio team is top notch!
Never before having physio I was a bit nervous. As soon as I entered the pt Health, the first person I seen was the friendly receptionist who did all of my bookings . The staff who assessed me and the therapist were all so kind, compassion and caring of my needs. Each week I improved and I know this was from their experience and patience and helping me with my problem. The clinic is very spacious, clean and equipment to work with. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs some Physiotherapy.
My appointments are on time they are never double booked. The staff are very helpful and courteous. I can see the improvement from my exercises.
If I could give 0 stars I would. One of the most unprofessional and uncaring staff I have even encountered. Called to book an appointment for my grandmother who needed physio and had a referral from a doctor. They were friendly on the phone but when we got there for the 1st apt...they basically treated us like garbage. They openly said that when patients use OHIP coverage they don't put effort in treating them because OHIP doesn't pay them enough. They said if we want them to put effort then we have to pay out of pocket. All they care about is cash flow and not their patients. Disgusting treatment of people seeking treatment and in my case elderly. I would never trust them with my health.
The people at PT Health are amazing. Friendly, helpful and dedicated to getting you better. Farah was especially amazing as she helped me with my recovery.
I was looked after well at this physio clinic after my left knee replacement 4 years ago. When my right knee became painful and my doc suggested physio, I went back here. It is a 15 minute drive for me, but the staff, care and facilities are great.
This Physiotherapy Center is very well organized.the staff is very caring and they work in a very professional manner.Appointments are on time and the environment is very harmonious. Receptionist always in good spirit making patients feel at home. I have been treated by Ms Tara Church and she takes her time to make her assessments taking very much into consideration the input of the clients ,listening carefully to them about what they .have to say making the patients feeling good. I was also seen by Lazarela who is also very professional and shows very good manners with her clients. In general very happy and grateful with this clinic.
