This place is the best place for me!! It is a one stop shop. Everything you would ever need for healing. Chiropractors. Massage, physio, acupuncture, chiropody(sp?) naturalpath(sp?)and many other healing options. The people who work here talk to one another for a team effort which means your healing experience moves faster because when one learns something works for you they share. The individuals working on your healing plan are very supportive, invested in your wellbeing physically and emotionally. When you are told “I’m going to talk to my mentor about this if it’s ok with you” you feel like they really have your back (no pun intended lol) they work with insurance so you do not need to. My chiropractor (there are a few) seems like she can see through me and I feel like she wants only the best for me and I feel cared for!!! It feels like a family of healing.

I contacted Humber Bay Physio out of desperation on a Sunday afternoon, Darya answered my call, was very friendly and supportive and told me she will try to make something work and get back to me. She got back to me within an hour with an appointment with Alex, RMT. Alex is really good at what he does, he gave me a deep tissue massage exactly where I needed it and how I wanted it. He has a wealth of knowledge on the topic. I felt much better after his treatment. I am looking forward to getting to know their team of Physio and Chiro as well. Thank you Darya and Alex.

Staff are very friendly and equally skilled. They offer a wide array of services that will help with just about any physical body issue. I had upper and lower back pains, and Dr. Sheena has worked wonders on those areas. Also, as a big guy, it's difficult to find a good massage therapist to deal with deep tissue and muscle aches. Magloire definitely fits the bill here. Always feel better coming out of HBP.

Really disappointed in my experience here I went in for an assessment with a physiotherapist who seemed very competent, she was a little cold but I can live with that as long as she’s good ... being we went through the long assessment process gave a lot of detail information went back to see her four days later for a treatment, and at the end of the treatment she told me she was leaving the practice and I would now have to see one of her colleagues and go through the whole intake again.... I’m guessing she knew she was leaving when I first saw her ... why bother putting me through that intake and building a relationship if she knew she was leaving the practice ?? to me these relationships are about trust getting to know each other and it’s exhausting to have to go through this again . This was over a month ago and nobody has even bothered to follow up with me from there to see if I am interested in coming into see somebody else ... really dont feel like they want my business. I had higher expectations of this place based on others experiences. Unfortunately mine was not positive

I was injured running in the Ontario Masters Championships and felt that I would be unable to compete in the Canadian Masters Championships (2017). After two weeks of treatment by Humber Bay Physio I ran personal best's in my races at the Canadian Championships. The range in my knee from an old injury has improved for the first time in 35 years. I started going to this place for my back pain therapy and worked out a treatment plan with Chris Almas that included chiro, physio, massage, naturopath, basically everything they have to offer. I was happy with the practitioners especially with the chirporactic treatment I received from Chris as he made the pain go away and gave me excellent advice and I felt I was on the right track. But all of the sudden they tried to switch me to a new chiropractor and it was not until I asked why when I found out it was because Chris was no longer with them. I expressed my disappointment about this and also asked to cancel last minute a massage appointment I had when the owner got mad at me and cancelled all the plan I had worked out with Chris. As a customer I would like to be able to decide what I want to cancel from my treatment plan. I will take my business somewhere else where they don't switch my practitioners before I walk in and where they don't cancel all my treatment plan because of a last minute cancellation.

They go above and beyond for their clients. Last week I had a sore shoulder that was gradually getting worse and got to the point where the pain was too much. Humber bay physio booked me an appointment the day of, with the consultation and treatment. After realizing my issue was not joint related, they educated and helped me with different treatment and it has completely worked. I'm going for another treatment this weekend, and feeling great. He educated me on tips that could help my neck and shoulder pain like how drinking water is important as the body will not push hydration out to the muscles sufficiently until the blood is sufficiently hydrated first. I had one of the best massages I have ever had here in order to fix a back issue. I couldn't give them a 5 though because I found it expensive. If your priority is an awesome massage and price isn't really an issue, I would highly recommend it. Otherwise maybe they are good for an emergency situation or once in a while, if you are in the neighbourhood especially.

Very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to my physical health needs. Especially love how Dr Paul see’s patients in individual rooms and not side by side adjustment beds like other chiropractors who are trying to make a quick buck. Dr. David pointed out what I was doing wrong and demonstrated the correct way to sit at one place for long period of time. Dr David is a hands on doctor. Humber Bay Physio I have a somewhat stressful job, to add to day to day stresses, through word of mouth, I was told about this place which offers massages. I was greeted by Natalia which is this friendly/smiley receptionist and Daria which is the Director and very knowledgeable. They asked me how can they help, I responded with, “I need to de-stress”. After a couple of massages I was better, but not complete. Daria suggested that I try acupuncture. I said “acupuncture?”, “I never tried it”. She suggested that I meet Dr. Michelle a Naturopathic doctor for a free consultation and a 30 minute treatment, I was nervous at first but Dr. Michelle made me feel relaxed and assured me that she wouldn’t make me feel like a “pin cushion”. I can tell you that after a couple of treatments, I felt a heck of a lot better. This has become my favorite spot. I would recommend Humber Bay Physio to anyone who needs to de-stress or just relax from day to day stresses. Mario

I was told over the phone that my 6 week old daughter could be treated for osteo and was booked a consultation. Showed up to the appointment and the door was locked, no one was there. Someone finally showed up 10 mins late. I wasn’t greeted at the door or signed in. No apology or explanation given for no one being there for my appointment time. Once I was brought in for the appointment I was informed that they don’t treat babies at 6 weeks. Complete waste of my time, very disappointed in how unorganized and unwelcoming this place was. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I highly recommend Humber Bay Physio! In my 25 plus years of seeking out services for my physical health needs I have never had better service at any other clinic than I have here. I have been coming since they opened and have returned for maintenance. This place is more like a spa than a clinic. Most clinics, unlike Humber Bay Physio, don’t even have separate rooms for things like Physio treatments where the only thing separating you from the next patient/client is a curtain (which feels more like being in a hospital). Well not at Humber Bay see for yourself. This clinic doesn’t feel like one as i mentioned it is beautifully decorated to create a spa experience. It is super modern and very clean! The employees go above and beyond. My massages are always amazing no matter who I see there. The chiropractic team is top notch as well as the Physio and Naturopath! They have all the latest equipment for Physio treatments and also offer laser treatments which is difficult to find at most Physio clinics because the machines are so expensive. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to my visits, they are a one stop shop. Always plenty of parking underground and a beautiful lake with spectacular views around the corner. Everyone is so helpful and kind and I’m always treated with respect and made to feel at home. Anything I ask for is quickly resolved. I can honestly not say enough positive things about this clinic and how it is run. You won’t want to leave once you are there!

I arrived at the clinic a few months ago, suffering from sacroiliac joint pain and disruption. Dr. Chris Almas was and remains my chiropractor at the clinic. I not only felt that Dr. Almas was treating my back condition but treating me as an individual. I hold Dr. Almas in the highest regard for his treatments and care. Dr. Almas provided me with a plan of care to help in the process of getting better. With collaboration from the clinic team it was decided that massage therapy prior could also help with the process. I began seeing Magloire Lobetti, (Registered Massage Therapist.) Thanks to their massage and chiropractic treatments, my back has felt much better. Magloire has, bar none, provided the best massages I have ever had. I have had massage treatments in many spas and resorts over the years. None could compare to the way my back felt during and after Magloire’s sessions. I found Magloire to be honest, open minded and informative. I was also given an assessment by Clarissa (Chiropodist/Podiatrist) to see if my feet could be contributing to my back issues. As it turns out, I required orthotics. Clarissa was friendly and explained the process to me, and assessed my needs to ensure the orthotics were in fact a necessity. I have been using them regularly, and notice a big difference. I came in here with a lot of tension and within one massage appointment with Lara I left feeling very relaxed and as if the tension had just melted away. Lara encouraged me to take very deep breaths and be present during the massage. My chest area was feeling very tight due to working from home and not having a proper set up. She was able to open this area up for me and gave me a few exercises to do to keep the area open and relaxed. Lara is a true healer and very gifted! I have been a patient at Humber Bay Physio for about 18 months. I saw their ad in a Mimico area advertising booklet that had a photo of their BioFlex Laser unit, and I went in to check it out. I had been suffering for months with a constant, low level, but very noticeable shoulder pain (bursitis). The very capable Physio Therapist gave me a thorough assessment of my shoulder issue, by having me move my arm in various directions, to determine if the laser treatment would be an appropriate therapy. I only had 3 sessions, and I was thrilled to have the pain totally gone! That was over a year ago. This Fall I had a serious fall, where I injured both knees, my other shoulder, a my thigh. I have had numerous laser sessions over the past 3-4 weeks to treat the many injured areas. I continue to be amazed at how fast and effective the laser treatments are. This is a totally painless treatment, and SO EFFECTIVE. I am very blessed to have such a facility in my neighbourhood, especially when Darya and her team of professional therapists are so friendly, caring and welcoming!! It's a delightful experience to go there...

Good Discipline

Service cost was not clarified prior to session with chiropractor. Chiropractor Serge came recommended but the quality of the session less than satisfactory and not equivalent to the surprise cost at $130 before tax for what seemed like 30mins. If I knew it will be a largely speculative talking session I would have chosen to spend the money differently. I was given the impression the first consult to draw up treatment plan was complimentary-not expecting a massive bill. When I asked the clerk why this cost was clarified at booking, she simply shone me on to call back and speak to someone else. That left a bad taste of taking no responsibility. I came to this place initially for massage therapy by finding them on Google. The RMT was competent and From there the chiropractor Serge was recommended. However, after the session with the Chiro, I decided not to experience a breach of trust again.

If you haven't heard of bioflex laser, in short it is a pain free laser treatment that helps with so many different types of injuries, sprains and concussions to name a few. What else do you need to know? There is convienent parking near by. If you are looking or thinking about going to see a rehab clinic or you are not sure if it is for you, from my personal experience, the best thing is to get farmilar with the clinic, call them or even better check them out in person. I would recommend checking Humber Bay Physio.

Good service, great massages...until I had apparently missed an appointment that I didn't remember setting up. First 10 mins of my massage was my masseuse telling me how terrible I was for doing that and insisted that they 'dont just make appointments for the sake of making them', then to avoid an argument, I just kept quiet. After my massage, my masseuse reminded me again that I had to pay for the missed appointment... $82 !! I had no missed call, no emails, or messages from them which I showed them. I had voicemail which I hadn't checked since March '17 and I don't get notifications for on my phone, we finally got to their message (after 10 unheard messages). They made me pay for a missed appointment anyway. I get that there is a real cost to the business for missed appointments, but being a regular satisfied customer, this was a VERY poor experience. I booked within a day of the missed appointment to make up for it because I felt bad for whatever confusion existed - I did not realize I was going to get harassed. Safe to say I will not be considering any service there in the future.

I've been seeing Dr Paul for about 2 weeks now with really bad lower back pain. The kind where your back locks up after sitting down for too long. My family doctor wrote my pain off as just a flare up that happens with old age, but Dr Paul was able to straighten me out and relieve a lot of the pain in just our first session! I was just going to go for the physio but now I'll be returning for acupuncture, chiro, and massage therapy.

I went in to Humber Bay Physio to inquire about what to about a sore shoulder. Chris took me right in. After some time working on the muscle tissue which was aggravated, I regained some movement. The following day I was in some discomfort, but the next day I was 97% back to normal functioning. I go back tomorrow for followup. Within a few days, Chris was able to identify the area affected, and address treatment. As always we are apprehensive about going to a chiropractor, but this experience ended up in normality being obtained.
