This is a great clinic. I went to get orthotics for my 5 year old son. He was very fussy when we went to pick them up. I was frustrated and in a rush to leave. Paula at the front desk is an affable and helpful young lady who facilitates the entire process in an expeditious and efficacious fashion. Pearl de Sousa is an exceptionally gifted and knowledgeable expert who can readily identify, address and rectify one's specific problems and requirements. Christina is a watchful taskmaster who ensures that every need is met without exceeding the limits of one's ability or comfort level - all delivered with skillful hands and warm, smiling eyes. Over the course of the past 3 years,I have attended Etobicoke Focus for 2 separate treatment regimens to remedy different issues and on both occasions the situations were resolved with complete success and satisfaction. I have now been going for two weeks to physio at Focus Physiotherapy in Etobicoke and it has made a huge difference in my condition. I had an acute episode of facial/neck/shoulders pain and I couldn't sleep at night. Right after the first physio session I was able to have a good night sleep for the first time. Focus Physio on Bloor exceeded my expectations. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I am always taken on time which is very important. The most I have waited is 5 minutes. I have required Physio and massage for years and have been to many clinics so I have a lot of places to compare Focus to. They are by far the best. Stephanie, the office manager is great and super kind/organized. Ellen for Physio is so professional and knowledgeable. Dave for massage is by far the best RMT I have ever had. I always need deep tissue and he knows his anatomy to a tee and I can not believe how knowledgeable he is - I am constantly asking him questions because not only does he have an answer, he explains what he doing, why things are the way they are and how the whole body and muscles are connected. Overall, the whole staff is amazing. I still require a great deal of treatment and for the first time I look forward to my appointments instead of dreading them. Focus on Bloor is a must go if you want caring, knowledgeable, professional therapists and staff that really want you to get and feel better.

Recovered from extremely painful sciatica thanks to Focus Physiotherapy. Tried going to a chiropractor and different physio office but wasn't getting completely rid of it. So grateful to Pearl at Focus physio. She is the best physio therapist I have ever been to and so knowledgeable and pleasant! Traction is also offered at Focus which greatly added to my recovery. The physio assistants and receptionists are the most friendliest as well! Also want to mention Andrea who is the most amazing RMT who also helped in my recovery. You haven't had the best massage until you go to her. It's the people at Focus that makes Focus the best Physio office around! I'm so grateful to be painfree!

I have recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery due to meniscus tear. I had searched for a reputable physiotherapist (not far from home) and came across Focus Physio on Bloor St. West. The staff there are excellent and they went over-and-above to make my time there pleasant. Stephanie (Clinic Manager), Pearl (Physiotherapist), Jackie (Physiotherapist Assistant) and their newest addition Balaz (Physiotherapist Assistant) who is an International student doing Internship placement in Canada. I had minimal range of motion, pain and swelling upon my initial visit. The team there has guided my recovery by introducing excercises at appropriate times and for appropriate intervals. They employed L.A.S.E.R Therapy, Interferential Current Therapy and Russian Waveform Therapy to aid and assist in reducing the pain, swelling and to promote deep tissue healing. It has been 4 weeks since my initial visit and I have made a great deal of progress in my recovery but my Insurance coverage has run out forcing me to no longer receive my treatment there. I now have the tools required to make a successful recovery which is why I Highly recommend Focus Physio on Bloor St. West to anyone in need of these type services. Thanks again all,

Couldn't get any easier when dealing with paperwork and people! Never feel rushed or like you are inconveniencing them, you are treated like a human being! Massage therapy HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ACTIVE physiotherapist is the kindest and knowledgeable and patient! Needs: Chiropractic, acupuncture and more knowledge on active therapy such as workouts to increase blood flow- and reduce pain while building muscles to hold injured joints/bones durably after healing process completed. Not just walking-stretching... Could use improvement on this area and become a lot more aware of how diet and exercise will keep you safe and REDUCE or ELIMINATE your pain in FUTURE tense. However my case isn't so black and white and is very detailed and tough to deal with- they are really working hard and are fantastic! Front staff is very kind and genuinely concerned about your schedule, and feelings. Does not brush you off. Physio staff- Knowledgeable, truly concerned about your overall health and day to day pain levels (RARE to receive from other places) Physician- Could improve on knowledge in regards to diseases like Fibromyalgia , but during assessment stage- taken very serious and concerned about your pains and health, does not brush you off at all UNLIKE 80% OF other physio placements. Massage therapy- Amazing, definitely worth the money. Range from deep tissue massages to gentle and multi-technique massages (cupping etc) Variety of massage therapists to choose from, so this makes it very comfortable and exciting when your pain ranges that day- you can get a rough, deep tissue massage and really attack the pain! or go with ease, reduce pain through subtle massages with cupping included- CUPPING highly recommended! Woke up the next day with very little pain - have you know I haven't woken up and been able to walk without dropping, limping or extremely painful cramping in my lower back and glutes in a long time, this works. I have been to way too many clinics to manage my pain and help my future, and this is by far one of the best in the GTA!

By far the best physiotherapy clinic in the gta and I've been to a lot of them. All the staff are very friendly and always have a smile. I had Ellen treating me after my shoulder surgery and she will go the extra mile to make sure you have the quickest recovery possible. This place doesn't just slap a tens machine on you and call it a day. They do a lot of hands on, stretching and massaging of the injured area. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. You are never felt rushed and they are always willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I have recommended this place to friends and family and would recommend it to any one looking for a good clinic. Keep up the great work Focus.
