A year after I had a physiotherapy treatment I get an email stating I owed them money. Apparently Synergy had forgotten to invoice me (they had my credit card on file) for my session, and were telling me to pay up. Because it had been so long my extended health insurance wouldn't cover the expense. Edit - I see that is was personal training and not physiotherapy. Fair enough. However, you should still not be charging your clients for services ONE YEAR after the appointment. If it were my business I would not be asking a customer for money a year later, that would be embarrassing/ not be a good look. It's unprofessional and unfair to the customer.

Working with Jason as a physiotherapist has been great. He's helped me find release from pain with both treatment and exercises. He’s both knowledgeable and kind. Kevin has also been a great help as a chiropractor even after one session. He’s helped me understand some of the mechanics of my body and released some underlying tension that other chiropractors has missed. I look forward to my next sessions with him.

Healthy Transformation

With so many doctors to choose from, why wouldn’t you go to synergy. The help at the front desk is always courteous, and very helpful. I’m a cyclist and Jamie, heather and a few of the other doctors have not only prevented injuries but made me feel a lot better after the many challenges that I put my body through.

I like going to chiro here but my Practitioner is ALWAYS late. Like a full 2 people behind and the staff is super unhelpful about giving you any kind of heads up. I called before coming in and the girl at the front desk didn't even update me on how late we was via phone. When I inquired in person she said it’s out of her job scope to inform us if they are running behind. It’s a waste of time if you are a person on a schedule, I highly recommend going else where.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to write one for Nicole Manu, who is a physiotherapist at Synergy. I can't believe I've been seeing her for about 6 years without writing a review! Nicole is the most gentle, patient, knowledgeable and kind physio I have ever seen. She takes her time and truly treats you with so much care. She listens attentively and NEVER makes you feel bad for anything - even when you forget to do your exercises or follow up. Nicole is a wonderful physiotherapist who I would recommend to anyone. I have seen other practitioners at Synergy like Alec, who were also wonderful. I highly recommend Synergy!

Colin was an incredible physiotherapist who helped me feel confident again after two sports injuries. I walked out of each session feeling like I had made significant progress towards healing and returning to sports. After our last session he left me with tools to continue improving my overall fitness and prevent future injuries. My interactions with the other therapists were all pleasant and encouraging as well. On top of all this, the receptionists were kind and helpful throughout the whole process dealing with my insurance. I would highly recommend Synergy to anyone looking for physiotherapy or personal training.

A fantastic place to get your body working the way it should! I came in for chronic upper back pain that I couldn't manage on my own for the past six months. With the help of Matt I was able to get ahead of it and feel strong and happy again! The staff are all very lovely and accommodating. Pricing is very reasonable. They practice social distancing etc so you can feel safe when you go in :)

I paid $100 to see a physiotherapist here. My GP had diagnosed plantar and to do exercises. It didn't help. Came to this clinic and they barely touched me. All they did was a few hip flexor rotations. I was expecting a full physical exam but it was more talking & showing me how to do exercises - which I knew already! It was a waste of money. They also encouraged me to spend $ on IBS which drew blood, caused bruises and required you keep coming back to spend more. It only loosened muscle tightness which was a bandaid solution only. Also the front staff, on one occasion, were rude by pointing a stern finger and ordering patients to wait outside. The visits did not provide anything above what my family doctor suggested. The physiotherapist was nice but after a few sessions they became robotic in tone and attitude. Like I was just another number.

I went there asking for advice on how to prevent future injuries (due to past ones that no longer existed) and there professionals had me over work one area that caused me more problems.. So I kept going about those ones and they had me doing stretches and workouts that ended up making those problems even worse... (this is around 15 sessions and 1500$ later - which is my entirety of blue cross coverage for the year plus a couple hundred cash) When I made a complaint the manager said she would get back to me with a solution in a week... It’s been two months and I’ve called several times since, patiently asking them to return my call & i have got nothing for a response. Not very happy that they would treat a client this way. I even got my orthotics there; bought there products etc. Showed them nothing but patience and respect and this is how I am treated. Not impressed at all. Now, almost a year later and I still have the same problem and there professions last said “try this one stretch for the next five months and come back when your benefits kick back in if it doesn’t recover”. Imagine living with a pulled hamstring that is on fire every day when you work a labour intensity job & are an active person. Again, all I wanted was a phone call & five minutes of your time & a solution. Not pleased at all. & for the record.. I hate making complaints & this is even making me leave my comfort zone to do so. So, thank you Synergy.
