It was a Motor Vehicle Accident that brought me to their door. They only had one clinic then, but I am not surprised at all, that they now have 3 locations. For 6 months I saw Penny, she was amazing! A few times, when she was booked, I saw others who were equally great, with no break in my treatments (a really good team!). I even did some massage. It has been many, many years since then and I was very grateful for the relief from pain. But now I can feel age catching up with me and it made me think of them again. Maybe I should drop in for a tune up, I bet they are good at that too!

Jen at Shelbourne Physio on Cook St was a real help when I tore my left ACL (the second time). It was a year after when I was still doing rehab and not getting results. I couldn't walk up stairs properly or even go on a 10 minute walk - let alone do sports. She performed ART (active release therapy) which was painful but made a huge difference. With her help and orthodics from a podiatrist I am all better.

dangerous physio

Avoid going to Shelbourne Physiotherapy. It is dangerous. I had mild pain in my leg and went there for physio. Unfortunately, within a session, an incompetence physiotherapist created life-long injuries for me. As a result of injuries, I had to go on medical leave. I have been to so many doctors, and they could not help. I have to live up with my injuries for the rest of my life. I wish I have never been there.

Madison Davidson

Shelbourne Physiotherapy is the best place that I been to. I have been to other physical therapy but Shelbourne Physiotherapy is the one that I truly enjoy going to.

fake physio

I went to Shelbourne Physiotherapy in Cook St. with a minor leg injury. A physiotherapist manipulated my leg and created life-long injuries for me. After several months, I am still limping with severe pain in my leg. I recommend not to go to Shelbourne physiotherapy. If for any reason, you decide to go there, make sure that you are accompanied by a friend as a witness so that you can prove you were injured. Also, record your conversation. Consider going there with camera glasses (check out the law first). If you are injured by a physio, make sure to submit a complaint letter to the college of physiotherapist of BC (CPTBC). You can find the procedure through CPTBC's website. According to the law, a physiotherapist has obligation to explain clearly and precisely for you, what he is going to do. If he deviates from what he said to you, make sure to mention it in your complaint letter. Without video/voice recording, a physiotherapist can easily lie and deny what he did to you. Let's clean up the city from incompetence and unprofessional physiotherapists.
