I want to give a big thank you to Leslie Chambers. She was a tremendous help and was able to speak to Dr. Debortolli and get the prescriptions, referral for an ear, nose and throat specialist & abdominal x-ray needed for my dad. I am glad that I escalated the matter and had the opportunity to discuss my conerns with Leslie who listened compassionately and put together an action plan that will start the process so my dad can feel better. Sincerely grateful and appreciative. ????

Visited a relative. Nurses are super friendly and attentive. Doctor answered questions freely and provided useful information. Helped us understand what's happening and provided ways of handling things. They spoke to us with respect in ways we could understand. Never condescending. Everyone made us feel welcome and really helped making a difficult situation less stressful.

My first experience at the Hospital was in 1967,I was a Child & was not frightened at all.My families being LaPlante’s & Hughston’s have had nothing but excellent treatment at the Hospital. I would “Highly “ recommend St.Joseph’s Hospital.

My spouse has been taken by ambulance 4 times for a collapsed gallbladder. They tend to him until he is comfortable enough to walk and then send him home??? Then the following morning back he goes in an ambulance. He needs his gallbladder removed and tests have proven that! So what is the problem? If they are not equipped to handle it there then send him to Sudbury! So very frustrated with this hospital :(

Not sure why this hospital gets such good reviews, been there many times for myself and for family member's as well.Medieval does even describe this hospital accurately.Friendly nurses?really?how so?they are rude and even If you are really nice and polite with them they still act like you just killed their puppy.I wish I could say more about my experiences at this horribly run hospital but all in due time,in the mean time do yourself a favour and go to Sudbury or even blind river if you can,I would not trust this hospital with a paper cut.I'm not saying all the nurse's and staff are bad but there are some real rotten apples on the nursing staff here, having witnessed them laughing after ramming a bed into another patients bed causing the patient to yell out in pain then seeing the nurse laughing thinking it was a great joke was just too much, that among other things I witnessed that same night sent up some red flags immediately about this place, maybe the nurse who thought that event was so funny should go and trade her nursing job for that of a comedian.Summed up this place is scary to be in if you are in bad shape and equally as disturbing for family and friend's who have a loved one in there.Wish a review had negative stars because this place would have -10 stars from me

Out of Towner that received excellent care after hours. Dr. was quick and attentive and provided the best possible medical advise that she could given the time and circumstances. Would not hesitate to go back. Great nurse aswell. Overall great experience. Registered, In and out in less than 40 mins...now I understand that won't always be the case but I couldn't be happier. Expecting to pay 20$ for parking like in my city. Parking was a fair 3$ Thankyou Staff
