Having 2 children, the idea of having a malleable schedule as well as no minimum number of clients a day pleased me! What a great opportunity for a work-family balance, without pressure from the superiors. Contrary to some legends, working at home goes beyond patients with loss of autonomy. My clientele has all ages and is as diverse as in many settings. Work from home develops incredible autonomy while being surrounded by colleagues available to help us face questions. Contrairement à certaines légendes, travailler à domicile va au-delà des patients en perte d'autonomie. Ma clientèle a tous les âges et est autant diversifiée que dans plusieurs milieux. Travailler à domicile développe une autonomie incroyable tout en étant entouré de collègues disponibles pouvant nous aider face à des interrogations. Je recommande fortement PhysioMobile, autant pour les physiothérapeutes que pour les clients!

Our mother, 93, has 21 kids, grand and grand-grand kids. Unfortunately, not one is in Canada. With the pandemic and the travel complications, she would have felt lonely weren't it for the regular visits of Leah who did more than just help our Mam walk again after a couple leg and shoulder accidents over the last few years. Leah doubles as a motivator, morale booster and has literally saved Mam from immobility, depression and drug overdose from the hospitals. Most important, Mam went back home from a residence and now walks, gets up and down stairs and got her balance back. Thanks to Leah and the great administrative support of Physiomobile, Mam is getting a second life.

This is an excellent service. My mother recently suffered a bad hip fracture, she is over 80 years old, so the recovery has been correspondingly challenging. After 5 weeks in a rehab hospital she was sent home long before being anywhere close to her attainable level of recovery. Ordinarily I would be taking time off work to chauffeur her around to Pysio appointments, which would have been exceptionally difficult (if not impossible) getting her in and out of a vehicle given the condition she was in when she arrived home. (Barely Ambulatory). Add to that the fact that the streets parking lots and sidewalks were still covered with a generous coating of ice, and it would have been downright dangerous. For very little additional incremental cost, I used this service to bring the Physiotherapy to her instead. This also allowed her to schedule more appointments per week, because she was not exhausting herself simply from the effort of trying physically get to the location of a therapy clinic and back for every appointment. Sessions would start immediately when the therapist arrived at her house , so she had more energy to expend doing the proper exercises and rehab targeted for her recovery. There was also an added benefit of having the therapists see her in her own home environment, this allowed him to further target particular needs and areas that needed strengthening in order for her to resume some of her normal daily functions and tasks. As soon as the streets were clear of ice, they could even take an occasional short outdoor walk together, allowing the therapist to help her with her gait, balance, body positioning etc and further identify the most appropriate exercises and physiotherapy to continue and heighten the extent of her recovery. She has had 2 therapists from this service since her injury , Maria was the first one, and started with her when she was still not ambulatory, and she did a great job and was incredibly patient helping to get her up and walking for the first few times post-op. When she was finally back home, a therapist by the name of Stephane started working with her, and he has been absolutely fantastic. She continues to recover far beyond the prognosis that was given to us when she was discharged from hospital. She is also more inclined to take physiotherapy because it does not involve the rigours of getting herself to a physiotherapy clinic when she is in pain or not having a great day. I can't recommend this service enough. A real godsend.! Five Star's plus +++++ highly recommended

After a few days, feeling no improvement (and even that the pain in my right leg increased), I decided to make an appointment with my usual physio in early December. After 4 treatments, I did not see any difference. I put ice and did the recommended exercises. In desperation, I make an appointment with my doctor. I told him that it had been four months since I suffered. After examination, she gives me a prescription for pain. I tell him I do not like taking medicine. Le 21 mars 2018 en matinée, c'est Jean-François qui se présente: il m'évalue, me donne un programme d'exercices ainsi que de judicieux conseils. Je fais donc ce qu'il m'a recommandé. Au second rendez-vous, le 28 mars 2018, je constatais déjà une différence. Après ce traitement, il me montre une progression d'exercices à faire à tous les jours. Il ajoute aussi: "Si jamais vous avez de besoin de moi à nouveau, n'hésitez pas à me rappeler, n'importe quand!" C'est vraiment un professionnel qui a fait toute la différence: je le recommande fortement. Mon état s'est nettement amélioré (en seulement 2 visites), et je suis revenue à ma normale, sans douleur aucune et capable de fonctionner normalement par la suite, après des mois de souffrances!
