I was recommended to Aspire by a very good friend of mine when I messed up my back. I walked into the clinic with excruciating pain and unable to walk or drive. Walked out and drove home in an hour! With continuous back issues I was looking for someone who would care and offer me comfort, attentiveness and professionalism and I got it here! Manas is now working with me to strengthen my back and look at more permanent solutions rather then the temporary fixes. Thank you Manas!

I was recommended by my Dr. to go at a physiotherapist since my back was in pain.I went to Aspire dental and the service was amazing. On my initial visit, Aman, was able to point out right away where we need to target the treatment in order for me to get better. He was able explain properly the importance of having the therapy before it gets worse. He provided stretch routines I should do at home to reduce the tightness in my muscles. He was knowledgeable and genuine in achieving better health for his patients. At the clinic, everyone was nice, Julie and Aman helped alot with my back pain that even just 2 sessions of therapy I already felt better. The receptionist, Christine, (I forgot if this is her name) was helpful enough to provide me enough info on what to do with my insurance. Overall, it was a great experience. You should try it too.

I had my first treatment at Aspire with Navjot today and have to say I was really impressed! She took the time to really understand my injury and where I was struggling before coming up with a treatment plan. She used multiple types of treatments thatvwere discussed and agreed upon, went over exercises and stretches I could work on at home and discussed a plan for further treatment that was reasonable. I left feeling better, excited about my recovery and not feeling pressured to commit to anything I wasn't comfortable with. I would highly recommend!

I have been looked after by a very professional staff. Aman and Julia in particular both played key roles in my rehabilitation. I also had several massages by the best CMT I’ve ever encountered. If massage is in your future, a session or two, or three is a must with Harman Sekhon at Aspire. Very flexible hours and changes are easy with 24 hours notice. Daily text messages ensured I never missed an appointment. I feel great! and have Aspire Physio to thank.

For years I have had lower back pain but in July or August 2017 I sustained some sort of lower back injury. This made everything worse. I had X-rays done, but doc couldn’t see any issue. Pain killers and muscle ache lotions didn’t work. I went to a naturopath and he told me it was inflammation. For past two years I have been taking a supplement to reduce the pain but nothing really was solving the issue. This was just a bandaid fix. This summer 2019, I saw an ad on Facebook to attend a workshop at Aspire to learn about lower back pain and sciatica troubles. After attend workshop I booked my first consultation. I can’t believe that I’ve waited so long to come to a physio! Coming here for the last few weeks to receive treatment from Manas and following the program of stretches and exercises have helped me manage the pain in a way that hasn’t been done before. I can actually finally feel that my back is getting better. Since I had the injury even simple tasks such as walking, putting on socks and getting out of bed was difficult and extremely painful. I used to be an avid gym goer and hiker but haven’t been able to workout for two years due to this pain and as such have gained a lot of weight. Of course it’s a viscous cycle, to lose weight you have to exercise but back was in pain so couldn’t exercise. I felt stuck. But after coming to Aspire Physiotherapy I really feel as if there might be some hope for me! I’m looking forward to continuing this recovery process and getting back to feeling the age that I am. I can already tell that I have gained mobility and the pain is way less than my first visit. I have come for 6 treatments so far. Every body is different but my experience and response to treatments have been good thus far. Thank you Manas! The rest of staff are very friendly, and they always make sure to call day before to remind/confirm appointment.

I'm doing physio for over 1 year now for few different work injury and been in few different clinic in different cities but to be honest I can confidently say this is one of the best physiotherapy clinic in town. They have few different physiotherapist and I was treated by 3 of them and each one are better then other one.they treated me very carefully kindly and professionally even tho I was very unorganized going late or even didn't show up few times but still they were very kind and understood my situation as a single dad.if you are looking to get a good treatment and save a lot of your time and money I recommend you aspire physio you won't waste your money to be watch exercise. you get instructions by the physiotherapist how to do your exercise at home on your own time and get the treatment in the clinic so won't waste money to just be watch as I experience in other clinic. Make sure you booking your appointment ahead and let them take care of your injury Good luck ????

Being gym freak I overworked my back and was looking at a reliable physiotherapist, who would consult and advice me based on my situation, with a fix that is fast because I cannot afford to miss my work. I came across Manas Khaturia and so far he is one of the best consultants I met. He not only listened carefully my concerns but also took the effort to fix my back in a timely and an efficient manner. He did not rush my treatment and made me understand the benefits of treating it right in first place. I think that was the best part. Doing it right the first time. That’s the therapist I wanna go back again and again as I know I can trust this person with a peace of mind that my treatment will be effective and long lasting.

I had an ongoing hamstring injury that had been bothering me for 2 years - I finally decided to go see Aman at Aspire and I wish I'd gone earlier! After one session and my take home exercises, I felt so much better - my hamstring was no longer tight or painful. After a couple of weeks I noticed my back pain had also subsided, simply from working on my hamstring. Would 100% reccomend these guys for any physio needs, especially if you love your sport!

I had a wonderful experience at Aspire Physiotherapy. From limping in with incredible siatic nerve pain down my leg to complete recovery in 4 weeks was amazing! Troy sympathetically listened to my symptoms and sleep issues and developed a treatment plan and home exercise regimen that brought about progressive improvement. He recognised the area at issue in my spine before x-rays confirmed it. Carlos and Rae were also welcoming and warm. This review is way overdue - it’s been months since the last time I was seen here but still cannot credit this place enough for helping me get back on my feet (left foot to be exact). I'm a registered nurse and very active person (weightlifting 5-6x/week) so I guess I'm bound to have some mobility/muscle/spine problems on top of my chronic back problem and migraine. My GP referred me to go see a physiotherapist and I'm glad I found Aspire Physio. Manas has been amazing-- professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He did some joint mobilization (I think that's what its called) and also dry needling on my problem areas. He explained every procedure prior to doing them as well as its benefits. I've been seeing him 2x a week for 3 weeks and I can already tell a huge improvement. I must add that their front desk staff is also friendly and helpful, she would always try to accommodate my schedule to ensure I get in based on my availability. Overall, highly recommended.

I've had neck pain for years and started seeing a chiropractor almost three months ago with no change in symptoms. Initially i started going to Aspire for my injury because of car accident. I had my first consultation with Manas. I know almost nothing about biology and how human body muscles work, but he did great job in explaining my injury to me. Not only i was able to understand what's wrong with my muscles because of injury, i also got learnings of how he was planning to fix them. over the span of 6-10 months i had seen Manas for physiotherapy, Kim for massage and Chang for acupuncture. They all did awesome job. Even after having full recovery from car accident injury, i kept seeing Kim and Chang to keep my body healthy. I think i got my perfect clinic for Physio, massage and acupuncture. Their team definitely goes above and beyond to help patients. (P.S. They are very co-operative regarding sudden cancellation of appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. Receptionist Rae does great job in scheduling and billing to benefits provider.)

Nav at Aspire was amazing. I made an appointment and mentioned that I was in considerable pain, they booked me in on short notice providing a spot for the next day at a convenient time for me. When I got there, I explained my issues and Nav did everything she possibly could in that hour. I felt better by the time I left, made a number of appointments after that and am basically pain free now. Everyone there is very kind, friendly and do everything they can to assist you and make you better - as it should be. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ASPIRE PHYSIO TO EVERYONE.

I went here out of convenience because it's in the same building as my doctor's office but I stayed because of the care and service. I tore my groin severely and my doctor prescribed physiotherapy for me and as luck would have it Troy at Aspire was able to squeeze me in right after my doctor's appointment. He assessed my injury, started treatment right away and set out a plan to get me back to healthy. All of the at home exercises he gave me were simple, effective and easy to understand. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful (shout out to Zorro even though he's back in school now) and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you have benefit coverage they can direct bill. Also, not that it affects anything, some of their staff clothing is vice city themed with the blue and pink font and that's an added bonus to me! I hope I don't need to go back after I'm all healed up but if ever I need physio again I won't hesitate to call Aspire!

Manas was extremely knowledgeable and effective in treating my shoulder injury. It feels stronger than ever and if you think physio is just homework of stretches and exercises that you'll never do, think again! I always left sore but feeling good about this road to recovery. I can't wait to *slowly* get back to rock climbing and yoga as things start to reopen. If you're a fairly active person, chances are you have a nagging injury that you've been putting off. You should probably just be an adult and go get treatment with Manas now.

Hands down the best physio clinic in Edmonton!! Manas is a phenomenal therapist. I have recently starting seeing him for hip issue and the results have been outstanding. Manas uses dry-needle acupuncture and after the first section, I was able to sit and stand without any pain. The key to reaching your result is following Manas exercise instruction after each section. I've been so impressed with him, he knows his stuff, and his passion show’s right through with a lot of confident. Extremely friendly environment and so clean. Keep up the good work Manas.

My personal experience with Aspire was not a positive one. I had never been to a physiotherapist before, however my doctor recommended it for the vertigo I was experiencing. My first disappointment was they would not direct bill both my and my husband's insurance even though we were both with the same insurance company. My second disappointment was that 2 out of 4 appointments I made with them were cancelled by my therapist. The positive was that my therapist may have discovered an diagnosed/untreated concussion as a result of a bad fall I took while in Thailand. Unfortunately, I never received the results of the exam or any further treatment as I stopped going once my therapy was cancelled twice in a row.

I’ve had recurring bouts of acute lower back pain over the past 2.5 years. I’ve never had physiotherapy before, however on the recommendation of my family doctor I decided to give it a try. I was treated by Manas (physiotherapy) and Chang (acupuncture). They were both knowledgeable and experienced and provided an effective treatment program. I could barely walk or stand for two minutes when I started the program. After my previous bout of lower back pain about I.5 years ago, it took over 5 months to regain full mobility. I had a pinched nerve in my neck since last December and nothing I did seemed to work. I could barely move my arm and couldn't lay on my back because it hurt so much. My doctor suggested going to Physio so I googled places on the Southside and found Aspire, when I looked at the reviews I looked for people who had similar ailments that I did and how happy they were with their treatments. The reviews were very positive so I booked an assessment with Manis, he set at 5 week period for various treatments and then reassess. He also recommended to see their acupuncturist Chang which was a godsend, he sure knows his stuff which helped alot. It basically took the 5 weeks and I was back to normal. I've already recommended him to alot of people. Everyone is very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you guys for taking good care of me.

I came to Aspire Physio with chronic lower back and right hip pain that i have had for years. In as little as 4 weeks Aman and Haley have helped relieve some of that pain. Aman took the time in my initial assessment to find out why I had lower back and hip pain rather than just treating the areas. Pinky and ring finger would also go to sleep while I slept. Would wake up in the middle of the night wondering if I had done permanent damage. Went for four weeks and was given some exercises and stretches. Was sceptical as I really didn’t think the pain was in the area Troy diagnosed, but after following his advice I am indeed better.

After tearing my rotator cuff in a bike crash in May, suffering for a month and a half with little direction from my GP on how to go about regaining some mobility and strength, and relying on ibuprofen to dull the pain, I decided to book an appointment at Aspire. I provided the ultrasound results so they had an idea of what we were dealing with and Manas worked up a treatment plan that included dry needling, heat and cold, and passive, progressing to active exercises. Less than 2 months later I've regained a good amount of mobility and strength, and greatly reduced the amount of pain and discomfort, especially at night while trying to sleep. I now have a reasonably functional shoulder while I wait to find out how long I'll have to wait for surgery (gotta love the Canadian healthcare system...). Thank you to Manas and the Aspire crew.
