Pelvic Health Physiotherapy has changed my life. Who knew there was so much going on down there?! I didn't even know there was such a thing until the spring of 2018, when a friend (who happens to be an OBGYN in Kitchener) recommended I make an appointment. That's when my journey with Lifemark Physiotherapy at Jamieson & Townline in Cambridge began. My Pelvis Health Physiotherapist is Soodeh Amjadi and she is outstanding! At each and every appointment she has been professional, very respectful, highly knowledgeable and as needed, humorous (which I so very much appreciate)! Her feedback, instructions and exercises have been absolutely vital to my progress and I am so very thankful for her continuous guidance and support. I have been going to lifemark for a couple of years now for massages. After 2 massages I bought the massage membership and have continued to do so each year . As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the staff at front desk they are very friendly and helpful. Chris is a professional and knowledgeable massage therapist. Chris has helped with alot of my back problems, he takes his time before each visit to check my alignment and listen to any concerns I have. He does book up quick but with booking online you can book a few months in advance so I have never had an issue getting an appointment with him. I have recommended friends, family and co-workers to go see Chris at Lifemark and once they do they continue to see him.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Gowshigan was my therapist and his ability to help me progress and explain each step was second to none. I felt very comfortable under his care. The receptionists were extremely polite, helpful and cheerful even when I (embarrassingly) was late or had to cancel last minute. Nimmy Thomas, the pelvic floor physiotherapist at Lifemark in Cambridge (Jamieson and Townline) has been helping me for about a year, while pregnant and now in postpartum care. She is very professional, respectful and very knowledgeable about the pelvic floor. Her guidance has been invaluable to recovering safely and quickly from being pregnant and giving birth. I highly recommend her. Also the front desk ladies are always friendly, quick and easy to reach over the phone. Making appointments is easy as well as rescheduling.

For the past 25 years I suffered from chronic abdominal pain. I had numerous ultrasounds, colonoscopy, laparoscopy, MRIs, CAT Scans, Xrays etc. Neither my medical practitioners nor gynecologists (which were several) could diagnose the problem as none of the results indicated the root cause for my pain. Two years ago, I was barely able to walk from the pain in my pelvic area, hip, legs and feet . Sciatic nerve pain also set in. At that point, the pain was so severe that it began to affect my mental health. I was certain the pain was caused by female organs and I considered a hysterectomy. Last year a friend of mine who had been seeing Erica at Lifemark recommended that I consult her and try pelvic physiotherapy and not undergo surgery. The day of my first visit literally changed my life. Erica diagnosed the issue immediately and gave me hope; something that I had lost long ago. I cried tears of joy from the relief that I would be able to lead a pain free life (and free of painkillers)! It’s been a year since I have been seeing her. My visits are now less and less frequent, I am able to walk and almost pain free. I recently broke my toe and injured my shoulder so it set me back a bit and she is also helping me with that now. She is a miracle worker! I could go on about Erica’s qualities which include her professionalism, knowledge, compassion and also for her passion in her field of work. I am now and advocate for pelvic health and would recommend her hands down to anyone. She’s the very best in the field and I am grateful for her, for making a difference in my physical and mental wellbeing!

Stacy is a great member of the Lifemark team. She is thorough and gets to the core of your problem. She is the type of therapist that gives you your homework and lets you demonstrate back to her the exercises so that you do them properly.

The staff is great, you’re always greeted the minute you walk in. The facility is clean, well kept and newly renovated. Nathan has been my saving grace, I originally met him when I was suffering from vertigo. If it wasn’t for his expertise I would still be off work.. Not only did he subside my vertigo but I come weekly to do acupuncture and help my chronic neck pain. My job requires my head to be looking down for 8 hours a day so he’s given me huge relief in my neck and shoulders. Highly recommend this facility!

I highly recommend all women, young or old, with or without issues, to see Rebecca, get the education and take charge of your pelvic health. With an excellent professional manner, and with appropriate, realistic information and goals, Rebecca has help me understand and correct not only my issues, but all of the misinformation that I have been told over the years from the medical field and media. This facility is clean, comfortable and professional. There is lots of parking, it is easy to get to from the 401 (it is right at Townline exit), disability friendly. There is even a Tim Hortons! The ladies at the front desk are very cheerful, friendly and helpful, they always have a smile! Thank you Rebecca and the Lifemark staff for taking such great care of me ????
