I was referred to Paula Munro approximately 7 years ago and have subsequently referred a number of friends and family. Paula has worked wonders on numerous injuries as she very quickly gets to the root of the problem and determines the most effective treatment. Rather than just treat the pain, Paula works to prevent future occurrences. Paula's new clinic location is particularly convenient given that there is free parking just outside the doors. I highly recommend her for any physio needs!

I've followed Paula from a more convenient location to the Beltline because of the success I’ve had with her concerning past issues with an arthritic hip, back problems, and generally very tight_low flexibility musculature. Diagnosis was thorough and moved forward through the introduction of needling and pertinent exercises that really changed my life. I was a slow walker and now find myself keeping up with the younger crowd! : ) Paula is compassionate and caring and can dole out reality without making you feel hopeless! There's always something they can do to mitigate a problem. The last few months I've been dealing with an old sports injury to my shoulder. The exercises I was doing with my physicians help were getting me nowhere and only bummed me out with the future of its well being. I gave the Beltline shop a call and after a few visits with Paula, she introduced me to their shoulder guru Joan. She went through a thorough set of tests and quickly assessed how my neck was a major contributor to the shoulder problem. Doctor totally missed that. My progress has been steady and I have not re-injured it through the progression of her suggested exercises and needling. Joan has been so detailed, and her great sense of humour is disarming. please let me recommend this Lifemark location, especially Shlomo for physiotherapy treatment. I saw Shlomo several times for bicep tendonitis in the right shoulder and a persistent claudication in my right calf. I am 100% pleased with the expertise, knowledge, and friendliness of Shlomo. The treatment was excellent. My shoulder is well on the way of recovery, and my calf has been cramp free for several weeks now. This is amazing, compared to the usual state of having an angry chihuahua chewing on my calf.

I am not an athlete - I am a senior with moderate athletic history who is dealing with exercise injuries combined with age-related changes. Paula has provided expert assessment and treatment planning for a shoulder injury coupled with degenerative changes. She monitored my progress noting when I got too enthusiastic and impaired my own progress. Always with great humour and expert guidance. For a previous injury I had a different therapist who since moved to Thailand. Both of my therapist experiences with the Beltline Lifemark have been excellent. I will be going back to Paula for treatment of other degenerative problems soon. Am confident in Paula's expertise in tackling my next issue.

If you are an athlete, you will not find a physio better than Joan in Calgary. Joan is not only an extremely knowledgeable physio, she has a tremendous amount of sports experience and can relate to any injury you may have. Anthony at Lifemark Beltline is the best Massage therapist in the business. I ran the Calgary Marathon in 2019 and after the race my hips were locked up and sore and I could barely walk. I booked in with Anthony the next day and after an hour session I was shocked at how much better my hips felt; I walked out of there with no pain after originally walking in with a limp. Since then I've seen Anthony monthly and any knot, pain, injury, or range of motion issue I go in there with is significantly better or non existent by the time I walk out.
