Came in for Physio. Was a complete waste of my time & was so close to just leaving. I barely got to see the Physiotherapist. The physiotherapist only saw me initially to review my issues/concerns. Even when, she was really rushed and didn't do a thorough review, pretty much skimmed through. (I was not late for my appointment & I was actually early too so she had no reason to rush). Saw her for that, then I was treated by 2 other different people who did not know anything that was going on with me and my areas of concerns. Nothing was explained to me. She just left me and One person came in to put a heating pad on my back, did not even check the heat level or come back to check to see how I was. (I had to turn the heat level down because it was getting too hot & from the prolonged use, atleast 30 minutes). After that, another person came to put on an electrode tens machine. She didn't even ask where my areas of concerns were and the places she put the electrodes on were not even relevant to my concern. Also did not even bother to check the level of the electrodes.The level of the electrodes was too strong. I was left in the room for way too long and was not checked on. Then after that, I saw the Physiotherapist again for stretches. The stretches were also irrelevant. Overall, I was treated by 3 different people, didn't even really "see" the physiotherapist. Walking into the clinic was also a complete mess. There were patient charts everywhere. That should of been my first impression & indication of their practice. Really disappointed and would really not recommend this place. The treatment overall was a complete joke.

Reception/Clerk Review. I have never seen or have ever met a more knowledgeable and more professional individual in their profession as Amy at the reception in this place! I had a car accident way back in February, this is my first accident in 20 years (rear ended by a semi truck). Amy took me by the hand (figuratively) and explained to me the process of getting my back fixed through insurance, she did all the paper work and even made the necessary phone calls to make my road to recovery very easy and worry free! After some complications with my back, she even took the time to make sure I keep getting the help I need by getting in touch with the insurance company (on her own initiative) and making sure I get back to working form. I run a family business, so I don't have much time dealing with insurance and getting the run around from them, Amy took care of the hard stuff so all I had to do was come in get treated and back to my busy life, I knew all of it was taken care of! I have NEVER had that experience anywhere else! I recommend this place to all my clients and all my friends, because you feel like family coming here, you feel like people want you to get better and work with you to make sure you have the best experience possible! Thank you all for keeping me moving!! This includes the Massages! WOW!!

I’ve been to many physios and this is by far the worst customer service by the receptionist. Not welcoming and very rude. The physiotherapist assistant was very nice, but I only saw a Physio for about 5 minutes in my 2 visits there.

Have had acupuncture on a very sore shoulder & a massage to help with scoliosis & both times I have left feeling so much better. They really took the time to understand why I was there/in pain. The staff are very professional, friendly, & funny :) Appointments are flexible & I always get in. The clinic is tidy & very well kept.

The employees at this clinic are great and so is the physiotherapist. BUT, you don't get to see the PT at all. I don't have the greatest coverage so I have to make use of my time. The last time I was in the physio aid did everything and I saw the PT for 20 seconds.

If you’ve had breast cancer treatment whether it be surgery or radiation, you need to visit Pam Fokkens at this clinic. She’s very experienced with how these treatments ravage your body and reduce your range of motion. Unlike other physiotherapists who let their assistants do all the work, she actually treats you and cares about your progress. Highly recommended!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Pam is nothing short of incredible. She has educated me on my chronic injury, I've been experiencing pain from for more than 10 years. She has shown me how to take care of myself, how to treat my injury and what to do between sessions with her. She's very intelligent, well educated, caring, kind and professional. When I went to go see her I was in so much pain I could barely move and after just a couple sessions with her, I'm able to manage my pain and get back to my life. This place is incredible.

I went there for a massage with Eri and I have nothing but good things to say. I would recommend her 100%. However, I won’t be going back to this clinic because of the the receptionist Amy. She had quite the attitude when I called in prior to my appointment, she was very rude and not accommodating at all in order to book my appointment. When I went in today, just right off the bat I noticed she was giving someone else attitude as well. Her tone is very bad and she is not the right person to be working at the front desk. It was my first visit there and it’s safe to say I will not be coming back. And to make my visit even worse, when I went to claim my massage through my insurance, she said it was not going through and that I’ll have to deal with it myself. She specified that she can’t do anything on her end and it will not be covered. After confirming with my health insurance, they said the claim was denied because it was filled in incorrectly due to the receptionist. Over all my massage experience was amazing but my overall experience experience was bad. If I was the owner, I’d look into a new receptionist, there are much better people out there more for the job.

One of the best teams in Calgary work here, either the front office reception or the therapist / assistants. I have interacted and all are there to help the patients. Sometimes, we patients are in pain and the therapists or the assistants or the front office people step in and take extra care. The whole team works for the people who go there for treatments. Keep up the good work!

My mom had knee replacement surgery. The staff is polite. The therapist Mahveen is so efficient. She helped my reach her goal. Mahveen is very polite and amazing.

Had massages here with Gina! She is the best and always consistent. If you want a good deep tissue massage I highly recommend booking with her. Front staff are friendly. Only reason for 1 star off is I had a massage with a girl named Kathy and it was…not what I paid for unfortunately.

I had a lumbar strain and had physiotherapy sessions with Mahveen. The pain subsided in 2-3 sessions and then the maintenance sessions took away all the pain. The environment at this place is clean and safe. It has very courteous and friendly staff. Mahveen knows her job very well and is thorough professional.

I have been going to Beacon Hill Physiotherapy for several years now after a serious accident. I used to have fits of pain, now I am pretty much normal; you cannot even tell I was in an accident! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Front desk staff have been fantastic as they have helped me navigate between two insurance companies to ensure I have the appropriate coverage. Several of the physiotherapists have specialized education as well which I have been very thankful for. I always look forwards to my appointments.

TL;DR : Reception/Clerk service poor. Massage therapist was great. My review will be mostly on the customer service. After completing my session, I wanted to do direct billing with my Alberta Blue Cross plan and I handed them my card. The reception/clerks told me that they could not direct bill to my plan as it was a "Medavie Blue Cross." I was confused on what that meant so I just ended up paying for my session. I would call Alberta Blue Cross to inquire about what "Medavie Blue Cross" meant. They informed me that I do not have "Medavie Blue Cross" but Alberta Blue Cross. The reps at Alberta Blue cross explained to me that I should have been able to have access to direct billing and the clinic was listed as an organization which can direct bill. I had the rep from Alberta Blue Cross explain to the reception/clerks that my plan was not "Medavie" but indeed Alberta Blue cross and I was eligible for direct billing. From the conversation with the rep and clerk, it was noted that the clerk did not even check my Alberta Blue Cross card. I would learn from the Alberta Blue Cross rep that there is a direct billing telephone line that the clerks can call Alberta Blue Cross for any questions; in which they did not utilized. Aside from all this, the one thing that will keep me from coming back or recommending this place would be the clerks overall atmosphere was quite rude. They were not helpful or even try to be helpful. I called to try and get in touch with the manager but nobody picks up the phone and I even left a voice mail to be called back but received no call back.

Not really impressed. I wish they dont move from one client to another while you are left on a machine for more than half your session. The practitioners are very nice,warm,very good with keeping you comfortable and maintaining privacy but there is alot of conversations with other staff/clients which makes the session feel less focused/ less organized. The carpet isnt the cleanest too when I saw the pants of a practitioner after kneeling on floor.Unfortunately will need to travel far for now and stay in Peak health despite living so close to this clinic.

I have been going for at least 8 years and would highly recommend. At times they are very busy but are thorough. Very experienced physiotherapists, Jerry and Pam have helped me and my family with ankle, leg, shoulder, neck, sternum and other injuries and ailments . Assessments are quick as.they know what to do and are usually followed with lazer and electric therapies assisted by students in physio programs (awesome). We also recommend goung for a massage as well :)

It was the best experience ever I went there for phisio with a severe pain in my shoulder the assessment was quick to define what's the problem he took the time using niddles and ultrasound (massage ) ....i left with no pain at all ...thank you to Dr.gerry and his friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I went in for an assessment for physiotherapy and my experience was horrible. I can't believe that they charge for for what they are calling an assessment. First I sat down and filled in paperwork (fair enough), I waited 15 minutes then was called in. Their physio area has about 5 beds with curtains around them, they are so close to each other it feels like you could touch the bed next to you. Pam came in, asked me what was wrong (tennis elbow), it was obvious by the questions that she did not read the paperwork that I filled in. Then she got a machine of some sort and started working on my arm. I had to ask her what she was doing because there was no communication at all. Pam left the room after around 10 minutes to treat other patients, she treated 3 people at the same time and I did not see her again the entire time. I had 2 other people come into my area to turn off and on machines. Then...that was it, I was "done." I would have expected this kind of service if it was AB Health but to pay privately for this was horrible! At the end the receptionist asked me if I wanted to book another appointment and I had to tell her I had no idea what to do because no one talked to me, no one told me how often I was supposed to come back, I didn't know what was going on the entire time I was there! Do yourself a favour and DO NOT GO HERE!

After reading the comments from other clients I had second thoughts when I chose Beacon Hill physiotherapy for my pelvic floor dysfunction. I went there nevertheless. My physiotherapist was Pam and I have been seen her for past 1 month. Pam is the kindest, friendliest and most understanding physiotherapist I have ever met. She knows her job very well. With her help I'm slowly regaining the strength of my pelvic floor and glad I went there.
