I’m old school when it comes to making sure I’ve done my job to the best of my ability, so I’m always relieved when I find someone with the same work ethic. When I started seeing Alex Ward at Burnaby Heights Physiotherapy, I honestly couldn’t believe my luck. I had a busted left knee and a previously injured right knee. I’d been given the green light to start physio by my doctor but had 0% faith in the system. I’ve used physio before with dismal results. The therapist just wanted to hook me up to a tens unit and collect money. I met Alex with a mechanical brace on each leg and a crutch under each arm. As I write this, I have no braces on my legs and only use a cane going down stairs when I’m very tired. A few more sessions and the cane will just be a memento. It feels good to repay all that good work with a heartfelt referral. Thank you.

David Koretchuk was recommended by my co-worker over five years ago and I was glad I followed his recommendation. David is very patient, willing to listen, and always pay attention to details and taking notes for your treatment and progress. He is our go to physiotherapist for our family. The facility is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and they provide underground parking.

I had previous experience for the same problem at another physiotherapy and it was absolutely horrible. I have to say seeing a great physiotherapist with great experience and knowledge is very important. Darby is very knowledgeable and experienced. She diagnosed me right away and gave me proper treatment. Thanks to her I had this pain for 4 months and I feel so much better after 3 treatments with her. She is amazing.

Right when you arrive in the clinic you will be greeted by two really sweet and friendly receptionists, Azi and Sophie. They make you feel better even if you aren’t feeling great. I have been going to Alex Ward for IMS treatments and he was able to relieve pain in my back that I had for about 3 months. Prior to seeing him I sought out other treatments that didn’t relieve my pain. I was in tears a lot of days with the pain. I am almost pain free and I am able to return to different activities that I have really missed.

David has expertise to treat people with the most up to date methods. I highly recommend him and his staff. Exp Physio

I have been a patient for awhile now and they are amazing physiotherapists that work here. They take their time and really listen. The front desk girls are just amazing and will go out of their way for you.
