I cannot say how happy I am with this place. Everything is positive here. Michelle is an outstanding Physiotherapist. She takes the time to understand your condition and to diagnose appropriate therapy. I also like that she explains precisely why she recommends certain exercises, or other therapies, and how they are intended to help. The team is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I didn’t have to worry a thing. My daughter’s hand is perfectly normal and she is back to playing volleyball. Great experience!

My review is about Pablo Olivarez, the massage therapist. I’ve had back pain for a long time and with a couple sessions he fixed my issue. He is very professional, polite and knows his stuff. I was a little nervous at first but he made me feel very comfortable . I highly recommend him

I cannot thank Michelle T. at Alton Physiotherapy enough! Several years ago I experienced a debilitating episode of Vertigo. Alto Physio was able to book me in right away. Michelle T. was very concerned about my well being. Her kind, caring nature helped me immeasurably as we worked through my treatment plan both at the clinic and at St. Joseph Hospital. Just this past January I had another episode of Vertigo. Although Covid limited the manner in which I was able to be treated, Michelle T. was throughly prepared having reviewed my case file. She connected with me and offered a treatment plan through a Zoom platform which sped up my recovery from home. Her thoughtfulness extended to phone calls and emails to check in on me as well. Michelle, I cannot thank you enough for your compassion and ongoing support.

Michelle Thwaites at Alton physio was my primary during a long struggle with back issues. She would do everything in her repertoire to get me so far then it became evident that I needed surgery to correct the bulging lumbar disc. She was always so friendly, knowledgeable and a fabulous listener. I had surgery in February and by the time I could go back to physio Covid hit and everything shut down. That didn’t stop my recovery. We had weekly zoom video calls; she sent me exercises to do on my own and we would do things together while on the call, having many laughs while balancing in tandem on our respective exercise balls. Thanks to her and her team I am happy to say I have had a 100% recovery and am back to work as a full time nurse since the beginning of June. Thank you everyone!!

Not a fan. Staff are friendly and helpful but I wasn’t a big fan of the open concept with people getting treatments all around me. Only went a few times but I was disappointed. Place needs some updating and redeveloping but again staff are friendly and helpful if you don’t mind the open concept no walls or rooms etc

Fantastic service and even better people! I’ve had vertigo twice and I cannot recommend this clinic enough as they were able to resolve my issue completely. Most recently I participated in virtual treatment and it was just as though I was in clinic. They ensured that I was seen promptly and they are very attentive. I highly recommend Michelle for vestibular Physiotherapy for vertigo as I am completely back to normal after two treatments. Such a great place!

After undergoing a second ACL reconstruction I wanted to work with someone confident in their skills, and someone I could trust to be supportive with my rehab. Joey has been an incredible physiotherapist and continues to work with me every step of the way. He is always challenging me during our sessions so they are never a waste of time. His knowledge base and skill set is top notch and I highly recommend him to anyone post-surgery or injury-stricken. My surgeon is quite pleased with my recovery progress and more importantly so am I!
