I was diagnosed last October with a Compressed spinal cord from a tumor . The Doctors told me I would never walk again. I have worked very hard to change that. I am walking now but need needed physio to complete the process. I found my Physiotherapist new exactly what I needed to do to improve my mobility. The strength in my legs have improved as well as my hips. I am very happy with the treatment I receive at Advance Physiotherapy would highly recommend them to everyone who needs treatment. .

I suffer with the effects of MS and found her to be very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and wonderful to work with. She made our biweekly sessions very pleasant yet productive .. These guys only care about making money and not helping the patient recover. Earlier in the year I went for a wrist RSI which I had 2 weeks to bring to a manageable level or would have to quit my job. During the initial consultation, Sarah was very confident and informative, but that was the last I saw of her. Every time I came back, there was an employee who performed the treatment who was not a physiotherapist. One visit I asked for the employee to perform manual work on my hand, instead of just putting on some electric pads for 20 minutes and walking away and she said "only Sarah is allowed to that" but Sarah isn't here....this is unacceptable given that I'm paying for a physio therapist, not a recent grad. When I was paying up, they tried to schedule me for another physio session next week...this was right after I heard Sarah (the only physio in the clinic) that she was going on vacation next week. I never came back after that. The only thing Sarah ever did was encourage me to come more often (like 3 times a week), which is a money grab because her treatment was useless. On a side not, for anyone looking to treat a wrist/hand/arm injury from typing on a keyboard, check out a good massage therapist (not this location)...that's what you need...not a physiotherapist and especially not Sarah.

Every few years, I suffer from debilitating vertigo. I had heard the physiotherapy could help with the symptoms but I had been trying to do the Epley Manuever myself at home and treating with anti-nauseam medication. In January, I had a sudden vertigo attack and decided it was time to find help that could quickly alleviate the symptoms. Pt Health fit me in on the same day that I called!! The recognized the urgency and made sure I was able to get in immediately. Sara, my therapist, was exceptional. She reviewed the Epley maneuver with me, helped me to do the exercises and gave me a few other strategies I could use to help my vertigo and reposition my ear crystals that had been dislodge, causing my vertigo. I am so grateful for Sara and the team at Pt Health. Thank you so much for making this attack a short lived ordeal.

The rudest receptionist ever works here…has been extremely condescending and racist towards patients including leaving rude messages that imply that just because someone has an accent that they don’t understand. The treatment here is subpar and extremely insensitive

Careful had work done here back in 2016 after I had a car rear end me while on his phone doing about 80KM into the back of me while stopped at a light. Insurance company TD sent me here day after crash. Provided them all my Insurance / Bluecross ect as they said they would direct bill...just found out they sent me personally to collections company even though I was FULLY insured.

I have been going here for about a month now and the staff have been very nice. I have been seeing Meghavi, the Physiotherapist Resident. She has been so kind and helpful. Her knowledge and experience really shows. She's great at listening and explaining things in an easy to understand way. I have been made to feel comfortable and at ease. I am happy with my continuous improving results. Overall it has been an excellent experience with customer service. The one thing I would STRONGLY consider is updating the place. Coat of paint at least for the damaged walls & replacing the old outdated flooring. It has alot of potential to look alot more professional and clean if some updates were done.

I saw Patricia for a longstanding shoulder injury that I sustained years ago and that was not getting better on its own. I was beginning to think that it would never improve. This was my first time getting IMS, which Patricia used along with a personalized exercise program. I was shocked at how well this combination worked, and my pain has been well managed ever since I ended treatment with her. Plus, Patricia has a very gentle and compassionate style that makes her a delight to work with. I actually looked forward to my weekly visits. Definitely recommend!

Hi I would just like to thank Patricia Martel for saving my life . I have muscular dystrophy, and about 12 weeks ago Patricia was working on my shoulders, and said gord you got a hole in your back, and it’s bleeding. Now l no idea it was there, so I went to the doctors, she sent me to the dermatologist and it was cancer . Melanoma, so the doctor dug it out, but he said to me what is that on your right arm, I said that’s where we used to get our shots in school . And the dermatologist asked me have you been to your family physician about ,it changing shape colour and scabbing up , and said yes and The family physician said put Neosporin on . Well to my surprise I had and very aggressive cancer on my arm that was just starting . And if Patricia had not said something to me about my shoulder I would’ve never of known about the arm, and this very aggressive cancer would’ve ended up taking my life . So Patricia I want to thank you very much, I am indebted to you , for pointing out the cancer on my shoulder It’s tough enough living with muscular dystrophy, but this summer having two different kinds of cancer, made it real tough, but I am cancer free and out of all this we discovered a way to make the muscular dystrophy pain go away, so I’m in the process of getting that set , but at this point can’t go into a great detail at this time. I have used Advance Physiotherapy – PT Health several times over the last few years for a number of issues with both my elbows, left hand wrist and lately my lower hip joints. In all cases they provided great and friendly service. Megha is very good at communicating what we were working on, gave simple and helpful exercises for me to do on my own. Debra - Patient Coordinator is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this place for treatment! All the staff that I have interacted with for treatments are very knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend their services for all your physical therapy needs.

I have had my share (and probably someone else's) of physio needs over the years. Recently, I was again in need, and my choice again was Advance PhysioTherapy - pt Health. The therapists are all well-qualified, experienced, instructive and courteous. The equipment is modern and cleaned after every patient use. The gym has large windows and ceiling lights for all the light you could ever need (or want). Programs are personally constructed for each patient, according to need. I highly recommend Advance Physiotherapy-pT Health for any physio needs.
