I usually don't leave reviews or recommendations but feel that my sessions with Alex are very much deserving of both.
First off, I have had low back/disc/sciatica issues, strained shoulder rotator cuff along with wrist issues, all of which have persisted on for years and years. I went to see a few physios in the city, but found their m.o. is to quickly assess on one of the issues (maybe 5 min to look at another), do some hands-on things, give you a few exercises, schedule you in a couple weeks later and move onto their next patient, rinse and repeat. Unfortunately I only found many of those experiences to be short term fixes with the problems coming back and finding the need to go in for treatment in short succession.
Alex is very much different with her client focus and physio practices. She will dedicate every minute of each of your sessions to work towards finding your long term solution for all ongoing injuries/issues. She will go above and beyond using additional time a̲f̲t̲e̲r̲ your sessions to create very well explained step by step videos and update your overall exercise program. She encourages you to follow up on any questions you have after your sessions and is very quick to respond back. Her techniques help you to improve upon and strengthen your pain free range of motion, which helps to reduce the need to schedule consistently every few weeks.
I have learned so much from Alex in helping me understand my body's limitations, diagnose my issues and help increase my overall range of motion. I have seen so much improvement in a couple of sessions with Alex than I have had in years of other short term physio, chiro and massage appointments.
If you're looking to find long term solutions to one or more of your injuries, I'd strongly recommend seeing Alex. Super knowledgeable, client-orientated, very friendly and importantly, noticeable positive results.
