Last September I was in a car accident. I didn’t realize at the time how bad the injury was. I was diagnosed with a concussion at the hospital, but I expected to be back on my feet and living a normal life within 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately, things didn’t go the way I planned. I began suffering constant headaches, having vision difficulties and memory issues. I was afraid to drive, became anxious about regular daily activities and I found myself sleeping long and irregular hours. The best description I can give is to simply say that I was living in a fog. The pressure in my head was constant. All I wanted to do was sleep. My family doctor was excellent, and confirmed my concussion, making me feel a little better, but I was scared. I was told I needed someone who specializes in concussion. Thankfully, I was referred to Mandi Hayes and the Resolution Therapy team by a friend. Mandi truly became my lifeline. From the first appointment I attended at resolution … things were different. Mandi understood what I was going through. She took the time to listen to me. I never felt rushed, in fact, she spent countless extra time with me. Mandi was straight forward and honest with her management plan. She gave me clear instructions to follow at home and was excellent in providing the documentation I needed to communicate my injury with my employer. A large part of the concussion journey was mental and emotional as well. The anxiety of having a head injury is seldom talked about. Mandi would listen as I explained to her what I was feeling. She validated my fears and helped to realize that what I was going through was normal. The IMS Therapy, the techniques Mandi utilizes, and the atmosphere of Resolution Therapy became a part of my weekly routine. Soon I began to feel better. When my son suffered a concussion playing hockey, another local clinic was suggested. We visited twice … then booked him into Resolution as quickly as we could as we were confident in the care he would receive. Since then, Mandi and the Resolution team have helped myself, my son, and my daughter through various sports related injuries. Each time we visit, we are impressed with the Resolution team. Since January 2019 I suffered a neck injury that I was not receiving a lot of answers for from other care takers. I was very lost in this injury and became depressed and anxious due to the pain and discomfort. My dad who goes to Resolution for his own injuries recommended I go there to see someone for help, so I did! I met Anthony and almost instantly with his knowledge I felt better, he gave me information about my own injury I wasn't getting from anyone else and just the understanding alone made me feel hopeful. Mandy fixed me. Now, I don't say that in a glib manner. I mean that in all honesty. I have chronic back degenerative disc disease. Nothing was helping. I was so bad, I was pushed over to one side, and walking was becoming difficult some days. I hedged, and bought a cane thinking I was going to be crippled by the time I was 50. Luckily for me about 8 years ago, I found Resolution Therapy, and the care and healing I received helped fix my back. All of my family have gone to Resolution Physiotherapy and IMS Clinic at one time or another, for the past several years, so when I developed knee problems that wouldn't go away, I knew exactly where to go. The kind and courteous reception staff welcomed me to the clinic and got me set up to meet with Anthony. When I did meet with Anthony, we discussed my issues, he performed a thorough exam and started treatment immediately. Highly recommend! The best physio clinic in Barrie and the only place I’ll get IMS! Mandi literally takes my pain away every visit. I’ve been getting regular treatments for over 4 years now and I’m as mobile in my 40s as I was in my 20s, with less pain. They go above and beyond, it’s spotless, they run on time, and they’re very professional. Love the video exercise homework - I can remember what they tell me to do at home!

I have seen Carolyn 3 or 4 times for physio on my right knee. She was welcoming, knowledgeable and empathetic. She designed a series of exercises and emailed them to me so I knew exactly how to do these exercises. She was fairly certain that I would need a knee replacement, but referred me to Dr. Vora for confirmation. I met Dr. Vora, who was very kind, and he suggested a Duralane injection and a brace to relieve my discomfort until I can have surgery ( Dr. Vora will be my surgeon). I am very impressed and happy with my treatment at Resolution - Carolyn, Jenna, Lisa, and Dr. Vora were all wonderful. I would definitely recommend Resolution Physiotherapy and IMS clinic!! Last week I walked out of there pain-free, after only a few sessions and have been in pain a long time. An initial assessment is $150. I was told when I called to book an appointment for my husband that it was $130. Obviously there was a misunderstanding, so I called and left a message requesting a refund for the difference. I received a call back from the office manager and she was unpleasant and unprofessional. She basically called me a liar and refused the refund. I know what I was told, $130 and didn't appreciate being made to feel like a liar and a fool by someone who should have a basic understanding of customer service. I will never attend Resolution Physiotherapy even though I am in need of physio. I will take my business where it will be appreciated

I wish I could write several paragraphs about Resolution Physio. Everyone here is very friendly but what sticks out the most to me is that I never feel rushed when expressing my concerns regarding my back issues. They always take the time to zone in on where my pain is coming from and explain the process as they go ahead with treatment. Being told by several doctors that the next step of my back issues would just have to be “pain management”, resolution physio actually helped me not lose sight that I could get better. They helped me get to a point where I don’t need to rely on pain killers to manage my pain. IMS has honestly been a huge help along with the exercises and stretches I learned. The whole team is amazing and has done great work, prior and during covid.

I had a knee replaced 6 months ago and went to a physio therapist for the usual post surgery physio. I was pleased with the results but was not able to rotate my knee well enough to turn the pedal on my bike.(my favourite activity) Going here was a game changer for me. The team at Resolution Physio have training in advanced Physio techniques not used in most clinics that get you back to better FAST. After 1 visit I was able to go home and ride my bike. After 7 visits I can do unsupported deep knee bends, squats and lunges .Feeling young again (:
