I have been coming to Hawkstone for years. The staff are all super friendly and do everything they can to help you recover from an injury. I have gone to other physio clinics at times for different reasons and keep coming back to Hawkstone because of the overall experience and knowledge their staff have.

I had my second session with Sari for some chronic pain in my hip. I am 72 and I thought it was hip replacement time!! After a very thorough assessment Sari assured me that it was my pirformis that would not release. She gave me the traditional "electrical" treatments but I really believe it was her working in the area with her hands and the careful placement of some needles that did the magic. Thank you so much Sari! I have been limping around for almost three months now and after two sessions, I can walk with ease. You are the best.

Fraser Rebnord is one of the most knowledgeable physiotherapist I have come across that understands this systemic disease. If he doesn’t see results, he tries a different technique until he does. Could not be happier with my progress.

I came here three times for a car accident injury that was flaring up again and a rotator cuff injury. I will not be wasting my money or time here again. The therapist had THREE patients on the go at once so the time she actually worked on me in the hour I was there was maybe 10 mins. My appointments worked something like this: - wait in the waiting room for 15 mins. - someone would bring me back to a room - wait again - someone else would put me on heat for 10-15 mins. - wait another 8 mins again after heat is off (I actually timed it) - PT came in and asked what the problem is. Worked on me for maybe 10 mins. - wait again for someone else to tend to me while the PT was with her other 2 patients. - Exercise therapists showed me an exercise then left to tend to something else. - wait again because I wasn't sure if I was being tended to again or was I supposed to leave? I had 4 different people tend to me in one appt. Overall, they are definitely getting their money by having three patients on the go for one physical therapist. That is not patient focused. I felt that it was more for the money for them than the recovery for me. I will be going back to Lifemark Physio even though it is way out of my way as they actually care about the progress of my injury. The perks? Maybe an updated look in the office and friendly front desk staff.

Great assessments each time I go! I have seen a couple of their physiotherapists, always helpful and encouraging. I have been there for a post operative issue, elbow issue, back issue: all taken care of. Willing to fit in where they can, great front office staff!

When I was told I had to go to physio after a car accident; I was not looking forward to it. I wanted something close to home, somewhere I feel comfortable and it should be affordable. Hawkstone covers all of these! The front end staff are friendly and welcoming, the clinic is clean, bright and inviting. The physiotherapists are very thourough, realistic and informative. And they do so many great things here! I have referred my friends here.

A great environment with skilled and caring professionals. I have been seeing Andrew continuously during the past year for ongoing pain from an SI joint injury. I honestly can not say enough good things about him. He's empathetic and addresses all my concerns. We have great chats together, as I do with everyone else there. It really helps the time go by and lets me know that I'm a valued customer. After about 4 months of not going, everyone I interacted with their remembered me. The front desk staff and anyone that helps with the equipment or demonstrating exercises are friendly and absolutely wonderful. This is the place to go if you want physiotherapy with a difference. I am a living, breathing, accident waiting to happen. I’ve probably had 6? Or 8 WCB injuries treated by Hawkstone. It’s amounted to over 40 weeks of rehab and over 120 appointments since July 2012. As for non work injuries, hmm a dozen? I have literally seen every single physical therapist that works there and gotten to know the exercise therapists/physiologist/kinesiologists on staff too. They are all really personable and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of equipment to challenge as you progress through rehab. Do the prescribed exercises and you’ll be back in action in no time. I have sent friends who are University level athletes and friends who have been in serious collisions. Great service.

I have been going to Hawkestone Physiotherapy for about 2-3 years for a few different reasons - neck, back, and ankle. During the Covid-19, physio was done online through the Zoom App. Cindy was easy to understand, thorough and the notes were clear. They exceeded my expectations when they dropped off 2 ice packs, like they said they would, but not only that, also a water bottle (stainless steel), 2 bands, Epsom salts and a very nice card thanking me for participating in the virtual experience. We are in this together!

After an MVA it was suggested I add Physical Therapy to my recovery. There are many choices in Edmonton, but I decided on Hawkstone due to the solid reviews and convenient location - and I'm glad I did. I've been working with Fraser Rebnord and I must say he has a positive attitude, and his entire team does as well. I looked at going to Physical Therapy as an inconvenience, but I have to admit I actually enjoy my visits to Hawkstone and appreciate the extreme efforts they go to during the pandemic to keep everybody safe. If Hawkstone is a bit out of your way, I suggest you still consider traveling the extra distance to visit this fantastic clinic.
