I've been seeing Eyal off and on for a few years now. I always feel some relief even after only one treatment. After a few treatments, I'm pretty much back to normal. He really works hard to get you back on your feet as soon as possible. One condition he fixed up quick for me was recurring knee pain when hiking over uneven terrain. I had put it down to just getting older, but thankfully that wasn't the case. With some dry needling, shockwave therapy and targeted muscle building I was feeling great again. And, as typically happens, I slack off on my exercises over the winter months and it's back to Eyal in the spring. Which is always beneficial as I learn something new each time (benefits of magnesium malate for one).

I suffered a injury and I use to go to Life Mark but at Life Mark i was just a number it seemed to them when i had a previous injury so I thought why not try Airdrie Physiotherapy & Massage. I am ever happy I did. My god I saw Eyal Okin and he was a magician with my injury. Eyal took the time to listen to what happened and let me explain any worries I had from previous Physio at an other place. Eyal explained to me how he wanted to start the treatment and how at different stages I should see this type of improvement and levels of pain. I had a freak accident at home during treatment and was almost back at square one but Eyal did not give up but got me back to where i was before the accident in no time. It was refreshing to be greeted by a friendly smiling face every visit ( Janessa ) and Eyal. Not only did Eyal return my body back to normal condition but helped me to improve that area of injury and other areas to prevent this from hopefully happening again. I will be back for sure. I also used your Pedorthist services with Erika Shultz and again she was a miracle worker with my inserts and a heck of a lot cheaper than my Podiatrist who i got them from before. All in all you are simply the best in Airdrie and you have a loyal client for many years to come. Thank you again for all the healing and care.

He hits the muscles exactly where he needs to and does a great job at working them; I feel instant relief. Nothing to say but AWESOME things about Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy (PFPT) with Marhanda Keeping! Keen to help me out as her first Pelvic Floor patient, you could tell the passion she had. Making the conscious decision to get help with my frequency and urgency issues was the best thing I could have done, and Marhanda made me feel comfortable and at ease during our initial consultation and every appointment thereafter, relating on certain subjects and even laughing in certain situations breaking the tension you can often feel in tense moments. Will definitely revisit Marhanda for all my future PFPT, and more so when I go to have children. Everyone should see a PFPT once in their life, and I highly recommend you go check Marhanda out as she's since completed further training in this area of expertise and can handle more than just the symptoms I saw her for.

I had some Physiotherapy sessions with them and there was remarkable improvement. I have been to many places for massage and non compares to the massage at APM. I particularly like Kristen's sessions as it is very relaxing and refreshing. She is a skilled therapist with exceptional knowledge of the body's anatomy and knows exactly where and how to use her firm but soft hands to work the body. Overall, APM has a great team!

This is one of the worst clinical experiences I have ever had. I went for an initial appointment for tennis elbow and was seen by the physiotherapist Eyal Okin, who works at both the Chaparral and Airdrie clinics. Right off the bat I was told stretching or exercises would not help and he wanted to spend the appointment doing dry needling. I was not completely opposed to this but wanted some time to think about it and asked if we could do something else this session. He then left me hooked up to a TENS machine for the majority of the appointment and walked back in several times to provide me with papers on dry needling that he had Googled and printed off (when I asked about the evidence behind dry needling I was met with a blank stare which prompted his multiple visits to Google throughout my appointment). There was absolutely no discussion around activity modification, exercises or stretches, topical or oral pain therapies, literally anything else that would be beneficial. Only because I asked at the very end, he gave me 1 exercise that does not engage the right muscle groups. He was not even aware of the name of the device used for this exercise and was also not aware that his clinic actually sold it until somebody overheard and corrected him. I was booked for an hour and he sent me out at 45 minutes. He did not offer any follow up. I am a physician so I spoke to a number of my colleagues including sports medicine specialists and family physicians who all agreed this was an extremely lazy consultation with a physio who only wants to use modalities rather than working with me and teaching proper exercise. I called and asked to speak to the manager. I was told I would get a call back then never heard anything for days. It was only after I called again that she spoke to me. To all of my concerns she repeatedly stated "I am sorry that you feel that way", provided me with no explanation, no attempt to rectify the situation at all and made it quite clear that she felt my consultation with the PT was adequate which is very alarming. I have since received multiple suggestions from family doctors and sports med specialists regarding much better physiotherapy clinics to attend, thankfully.

I had the worst massage I've ever had with Kristen Olijnyk. I've been going for massage regularly for the past ten years and I frequently try new people, different places. Im not sure what technique she used but it felt like light rubbing that was more annoying than therapeutic or relaxing. I asked for more pressure but the light rubbing continued with small time frames of pressure that didn't really hit any spots. I specifically asked for solely back massage,at one point she began to massage my arm. It was the first time I couldn't wait for a massage to end. It was not enjoyable on any level.

I continue to go for regular massages. Recently, I have been seeing Eyal for some physio due to plantar fasciitis. Just would like to say how good my shoulder injury was handled by Marhanda Keeping. She was patient and fully explained what was being done and how the various aspects of the treatments would help. She was able to persuade me to try IMS or needling as I call it. I had never had it before and found it to be very beneficial - it really helped with getting my muscles working and feeling better. She made very good suggestions for treatments and I had no hesitation in doing them. She is extremely good at what she does plus she has a great sense of humour which is always beneficial when one is being poked, pulled and stretched. Also have to say the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They helped make it easy to make appointments and were on top of keeping track of everything. I will be back with other ailments that I will probably have in the future considering what I do and unfortunately my age.

I came in for an hour deep tissue massage with Kristento relive some back pain. I specifically asked for a full back only deep tissue massage. They didn’t ask me to fill out a medical history at all, I could have had any number of problems or medications that could have been affected by treatment. No concerns for caution areas or ci’s. What I received was an hour of effleurage and no pressure at all. Moving to other areas during the massage that wasn’t applicable to what I had asked for. When she asked me about pressure, I said that she should apply more, after which none was applied and was never asked or checked on me again. The technique she applied was very messy and unorganized. She did not have good communication skills when it came to asking what I wanted or felt and did not follow through with what I had even came in for in the first place. None of my problem areas were addressed. At the end of the treatment she did not follow up with me or check how the treatment went.

I am impressed with the number of services they are able to provide in one convenient location, as well as their friendly and patient front counter staff. I primarily see Eyal for the injuries I've sustained from personal and professional causes. I am impressed Eyal's level of knowledge, his professional bedside manner, and his ability to treat whatever ailment I have, and trust me there's been a few a couple tricky ones! More importantly, I appreciate positive and constructive feedback he provides when teaching me a new physio exercise, and he always asks how my previous injuries are recovering; even if I haven't been in to see him for long periods of time.

I would highly recommend these professionals. Eyal was able to target some chronic, long term pain with his needling. They are great at listening closely and communicating clearly what they are doing during therapy.

This place is fantastic. I can't sing high enough praise. The therapists are all very educated and knowledgeable. It's a shame someone ruined a well deserved 5 star rating with a 2 star because he felt his phone call was not responded to quickly enough because he was on hold for 5 mins! I am treated so well when I walk through the door and the reception staff take the time to get to know you.

My experience with Airdrie Physiotherapy and Massage was amazing! When you enter, you are greeted by very pleasant receptionists. My therapist was Marhanda Keeping - an overall lovely person who was professional and thorough, and great at getting to the root of my pain and making it go away. She also provided exercises that helped to speed up my recovery. I highly recommend this place!!!

I initially booked an appointment for dry needling with Eyal Okin because I have having shoulder, neck and back issues from carrying my son constantly. After only a few appointments I felt almost entirely back to normal! There has also been a huge improvement in my headaches which I wasn’t expecting!
