We had our first maternity photoshoot with Ally a few weeks ago. I have to say she is a thorough professional. Due to the pandemic we decided to do it outdoors, it was cold and windy. But she was sensitive to my needs, was glad to let me warm up in the car after each session. I felt extremely cared for and comfortable. Ally did my outdoor maternity photoshoot when I was 38 weeks pregnant. She provided clear instructions on what to expect on the day of the shoot and how to prepare in terms of undergarments and clothing/colours that my husband should wear. She's passionate about her job, friendly and understanding (she was able to squeeze us in for an appointment last minute). Also as a new parent, my husband and I were anxious about bringing our little one out but she didn't stress when my daughter was already hungry and fussy when we got to Ally's studio... or when she pooped, peed, and spat out everywhere (mostly on me). Ally is a real professional. We (me, my husband, and our 3 month old daughter) had so much fun during our 1 hour session with her. She used the time so efficiently. I loved the fact that she paid attention to the details - making sure our head, hands, and bodies were positioned well to get the best angles and lighting for each shot. Ally was so positive and upbeat. We didn't have the opportunity to take newborn photos of our daughter so Ally specifically wanted to capture that newborn look for us. Ally swaddled our daughter and took the sweetest photos of our her in a dressed up basket. My husband and I did a newborn photoshoot with Ally and our daughter when she was 8 days old. Ally was truly fabulous! She clearly loves babies, and was so great at calming our little one down... we actually learned some tricks from her! When our daughter peed on her, she didn't even blink an eye - a total professional. We received a link to the gallery of untouched pictures that same day and they were amazing. Ally's typical turnaround time for retouched images is 2 weeks, but we asked to have one pic retouched asap so we could print and frame it for the grandparents for Christmas. Ally delivered the retouched photo with 24 hours. It was a great experience all around and I look forward to future photoshoots as our little one grows up.

I contacted Ally on a Thursday and she fit me in on the Friday for a newborn shoot. She made me and my newborn feel so comfortable. From the start, it's been a pleasure dealing with Ally. She responded very quickly to our message via her website, within an hour or two. She was very friendly over the phone, and answered all of our questions. She was able to fit us in at the last minute, as we hadn’t realized that we should have booked a newborn photo session before birth. On the day of the photoshoot, Ally warmly welcomed us into her studio. There were snacks and beverages ready for us; she is a gracious host. She made us feel comfortable, even when our little one peed on her blankets. (In the instructions that she sent to prepare us for the photo session, she did explain that that could happen and not to worry.) The photo session was so fun, with a variety of different poses and props that she provides. Ally made us feel very much included in the process. When we got there she had a little snack bar that was setup for us which was a nice touch. After our session was done we received the pictures shortly after which turned out AMAZING! Great work and I would highly recommend her to anyone as we plan on using her for other projects.
