Love this place! The guy who owns it has a wealth if knowledge about cameras and photography. He keeps film alive! And will develop your black and white film for you. I recently purchased a Nikon F5 with two lenses and feel safe knowing I got a fair price and a well preserved camera. Keep film and local businesses alive by going here for all your photography needs! (He also sells B&W film for cheap and everything to start your own dark room)

If you still shoot with old school equipment this is the place to go if you need to repair something. Or if you want to look for a good deal on a used camera or accessory. I picked up a zoom lens very recently. Gems like WPO are getting harder to find.

Well, I was in just yesterday looking for a quick release shoe for my SLIK F153 tripod. He told me I was the second person that day looking for that similar product. He told me what he told the other person that I wouldn't find one in Windsor and would I would even have a really hard time finding one even in Toronto! Then he said I'd be better off buying another tripod!...I went to Henry's located at The Roundhouse across from the Devonshire Mall. They had all kinds of quick release shoes to choose from. Needless to say, I got one that fits!

This guy is very knowledgeable about not only the craft of photography but a vast range of equipment. He cleaned very large projector lenses that will soon be used for the Senate Theater in Detroit. They were in rough shape and it was very involved a few hours on each and he was delighted on how well they turned out. Hopfully today i can get them installed to build a new tradition at the theater. Thanks.

Nice to have someone locally who can repair equipment but the service I got was pretty shabby. I was told my lens would be looked at in a week and I would be told the issue. 1 month later I called to see what was going on. I was told the circuit was fried and it was $100 for the part and the with the Labour it would be about $150 to fix. I go to get my lens and get charged $195.49. Not a great experience at all.

This is a shop that primarily caters to the film camera enthusiasts. It should be said they are authorized dealers for the popular brands of digital cameras. They also do maintenance on digital DSLs such as sensor cleaning however the primary focus is sales/support/repair of film cameras. What the owner doesn't know about film cameras is not worth knowing! He is a craftsman with watch maker like skills! I have had several lenses and Canon SLRs repaired by him. They also have film stock, developing supplies and other items such as tripods etc.

Worst experience ever. The lens that I have given to get the stiffness fixed for focus ring has been made worse. The slight stiffness it had, has been increased and there’s no way I can use this lens for my indie movie. This guy took about two and a half weeks and never even bothered to give me a call and inform me about the lens. I had to keep calling him to get an update. Finally, when I go to pick up the lens, he blames the manufacturer for low quality parts which he should have told me before ruining my lens. I have a shoot planned this week and i’m not really sure what to do since the lens costs around 750 bucks.
