I had the pleasure of playing at the blue frog last night in White Rock. We contracted the frog to multitrack and shot video. At the end of the night we had time to view a few snippets and it all looks and sounds fantastic. Fabulous crew and great vibe. Loved it.

Such an intimate live music experience. We saw The Joni Mitchell Project and it was fantastic. This is a small venue, a listening room/recording studio, which gives you the feeling of a private show. Very cool.

We've always had a great experience at the Blue Frog. Small intimate venue, great sound in the studio, friendly staff... and they do a good job of making sure people remain seated so that everyone is comfortable and has a great view. They also control the "cellphone-aholics" that just can't put their phones down (no videoing or flash photography), which is just awesome since these people are so very annoying, especially in a small venue. I want to watch the show, not their self absorbed videoing! Also there is free parking right outside the venue! We saw Eagle Eyes last night (tribute to the Eagles) for the second time and they were spot on and all 4 awesome musicians and vocalists. A very enjoyable time! To round out the experience there is also a nifty little gift shop and a bar for the thirsty. We've been to a dozen shows over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Truly one of White Rock's little gems!

I've been to at least a dozen concerts in the last 4 years, and all of them have been exemplary artists, not to mention the intimate environment which seats only 100 people and is designed as a recording studio makes the listening experience very special.

This was our first time at Blue Frog and let me tell you-First class all the way! From the person greeting us at the door to the person taking our ticket, the people serving our cocktails and the host (owner) for the evening, the warmth and friendliness of everyone was outstanding ???? The studio sits about 100, first come first served, on comfortable folding chairs. We sat in the front row for the Powder Blues. The sound is fantastic, not too loud, the musicians mere feet in front of us. You can take a few phone pics, no flash and no video but with that intimate setting who wants to waste your time behind the lens. Can't wait to go back!
