My birthday was May 27th and I turned 50 years old I wanted to come out of my shell and take these beautiful pictures the women were welcoming comforting and friendly I walked out of there proud to know I have the most beautiful body that nobody has except for me and I was so happy that at the age of 50 years old I was stunning thank you nuovo Cougar Alley ????????????

My experience with Nuovo was comfortable and much fun! I enjoyed my experience. The girls were pleasant and I did feel like a queen on my way out the door. It was a newfound experience about myself and I feel more appreciative of myself. I took the risk to get out of my own comfort zone and glad I did it! Also the pictures were phenomenal! It was difficult to just take home just one! I walked out of there feeling like a phenomenal woman!

Had such an amazing experience.. I'm kind of still in shock!.. in a good way.. in the best way! It started with meeting Zoe. We had a lovely conversation and got to know each other a bit. I loved that part because I know she was "in this with me" and wanted to get the best pictures I could get. She understood where I was coming from. I was definitely nervous, but mostly excited. The shoot itself was alone with Zoe and she was so professional and took good care of me. She had about 12 poses already set up and took me through them one at a time at my own comfort level. When it was over I was sweaty and a little nervous because I was hoping at least one of the photos turned out well. But when I got dressed again and met Zoe in a private office I was STUNNED! The photos were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The artistic beauty, symmetry, composition, lighting, placement of the satin and the coaching of my photographer Zoe made these pictures so amazingly GORGEOUS, and made me look the best I've EVER seen myself. In the end I found myself out front waiting for my Uber home smelling my delicious red roses they gave me and feeling like I was in a dream. I can't wait to get my photos back from their touch-up team and my big ol' fancy one for my bedroom.. :) I'm so stoked!! If you're on the fence about doing a shoot PLEASE jump in with both feet and do this for your 80yr old self.. heck do it for your 43yr old self! I did.. and am so very proud of myself. EDITED TO INCLUDE RESPONSE TO OWNER BELOW—- I came in for a free birthday shoot since it was advertised, I thought why not. I asked them what the total i was paying was over the phone. They told me it was just a $50 deposit. They try to build you up with making tons of staff tell you how pretty you are from beginning to end. Really pushing their brand of body positivity and female empowerment. I thought nothing of it since I was down for the experience. I want to really solidify they said its just a refundable deposit and mentioned nothing else. Once the shoot was done and they showed me the photos i was presented with a $600 minimum just to get very few digitals, and it went upwards of 2k for a printout book. I wouldnt reccomend. I ended up leaving with 7 digitals for $750. Honestly lame to prey on women like that. Response: You showed me a sheet that started at $600 for 5 digitals pics sent over. I didnt see anything below unless you mean the $150 to get one digital emailed. I understand all shoots cost money but you were NOT transparent, you were pushy when I said I didnt want to spend all that on my choice photos, and overall yoj were not transparent in my call when I asked what my end cost would be- the person on the other line kept saying just a $50 deposit. Thats not a coincidence or a mistake. I told them my budget was zero when they showed me the paper and kept pushing ‘we want you to be happy and get these lovely pics we want to work with you because we will delete them if theres no payment and we want you to keep some of these’ after i stated i didnt see myself being able to spend it, the next response was ‘we can do monthly payment plans!’ I felt like I was trapped in a Timeshare or MLM meeting at that point. I didnt have a credit card with me for me ‘free shoot’ and said i can go get it but they were not interested in me leaving and coming back and suddenly there were 3 people arguing on how i could pay. As soon as I paid they sent me out of there in a minute. Honestly I was left feeling weird and scammed.

I felt completely comfortable, powerful and beautiful while in studio with the ladies. I recommend the beauty package to feel like a queen. It was hard to pick my favourite pictures to keep. I would definitely recommend and do this again. You won't be disappointed.

My experience at Nuovo Artistic Photography Vancouver was 5 star, beginning to end. I arrived, as you see on their ads, I felt like this is cool, just like I watched on the ad, here I go, I knew what to expect.as I entered. I was taken care of even though I screwed up my time and showed up at least an hour early! I was greeted with positive bubbly welcoming energy from all the women. I was offered a glass of wine, (which I had of course), was explained the story behind Nuovo, and the feeling of empowerment of those who choose to embrace themselves in a beautiful artistic way. I recommend getting your hair and makeup done, giving you the full beautifying experience. I loved my look and made me feel confident and ready for the camera. What I loved the most... is ..I was pretty much not left alone while I waited. One of the ladies was always there with me, interested in me. The photographer wanted to get to know me and my story before we started. I loved that! This was a pivotal turning point of my life and I wanted it to be special, it was just that. Having myself photographed in such a unique and artistic way IS empowering and a keepsake to be able to look at and look back on. I may even get my fave photo done to put above MY bed :) They're that good! Beautiful quality photos, beautiful supportive ladies who made me feel very special, right down to the roses I received when we were done. They even took care of my parking before it ran out. 5 stars.. I loved it and it meant so much. Thank you, Janice Lee xo

I hade the best time at Nuovo, I felt like a queen as soon as I walked in (Despite me being extremely late) Jaclyn was my makeup and hair stylists and she was amazing. I came in with the idea to get a pin-up glow up and she nailed it like a queen. Zoe was my photographer and she made me feel like I was in my element even if I never did that before. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

My experience there was absolutely amazing! I was so nervous going in that I almost cancelled. And THANK GOD I didn’t!! Once I was got there the girls were so welcoming and their vibes were so positive. I felt super comfortable. I was feeling down about myself. They accomplished the goal that I need to make me feel myself again. Empowered and Beautiful. Extra Thanks to Jackie, Zoe, and Lindsay for getting me to open up and getting me out of my comfort zone. I will be coming back in the future It’s expensive yes it is worth it and also you can do a payment plan.

Loved my experience with Nuovo, from start to finish everyone from Chelsea with the initial phone calls to my makeup artist (sorry I forgot her name but she rocked!) to my photographer Queen were really amazing. HUGE SHOUT OUT to Makenzie though, her aftercare and thoughtfulness when helping me choose my photos and the print was excellent customer service. Will be back!

i had my photoshoot here a few weeks ago and just received my photos and they are even better than i remember! the staff were amazing and so friendly, compliments from the moment i walked in even without my hair or makeup done yet LOL. i was really nervous cuz this isnt something i honestly thought i would ever do but im so so happy that i did. i truly feel like a superstar when i look at my photos. thank you all for the amazing experience.

Found them through Instagram regarding a photo promotion and thought I would give it a shot since it seemed very fun and after reading their website I loved what they stood for. Showed up and there was a little time confusion but they were all very lovely and professional and very sweet. Zoey and Nicole (I hope I spelt your names right, if not I'm so so sorry!) were nothing but kind and amazing. Absolutely adorable studio and they just made everything feel so warm and comfortable and safe! Absolutely would go again <3 I can't thank you enough!

Experience was GREAT. I saw the ad on facebook for a free photoshoot. Like most people, you'd be a bit hesitant to do something like this but IT'S WORTH IT. You have a phone call in advance of your booking and you can ask any questions. They make sure you are totally 100% comfortable. They do require a $100 deposit that can go towards the purchase of your photos. The studio use is completely free and you get one free photo but you'll have to purchase additional photos starting at $150 each. They have different package options and payment plans available that can be customized for you. They bring you your choice of wine, and you can bring a friend if you are nervous. They guide you through the whole process and we did 12 poses. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. The photographer, Sarah, was super patient with me and made me feel so comfortable and confident. I would recommend doing this to others and I would personally do it again!

I didn’t feel entirely comfortable in this space. I was contacted because I expressed interest in their birthday promotion for a free photo. At the end as we were going through photos, I expressed I wasn’t interested in purchasing any additional photos (costing upwards of $200-1000 or more). The whole vibe changed after I said this and I felt really uncomfortable as the photographer insisted on going through pricing and all of the deals with me anyway, and then when I said I still wasn’t interested we quickly chose a photo and I left. If I felt welcome at that point I would have spent more time actually choosing a photo that I liked, but I just wanted to get out of there. Edit January 24: I have reached out a couple times and heard nothing back yet. It has been well over a month as well and I still haven’t received the photo. Others I know who had theirs taken a day before me received theirs on January 4th.

This was so far outside my comfort zone I had so much anxiety going into the appointment. Right away they made me feel so comfortable, accepted and beautiful. I NEVER in a million years thought I would be comfortable in front of a camera without clothes on. Highly recommend this experience! After the shoot when we were reviewing the photos I definitely felt the pressure to buy a pricey package and it was such an emotional experience I agreed to a package I couldn't realistically afford. I felt sick about it afterward and called them to talk about other options. I spoke with a wonderful woman in Montreal who was so kind and understanding and worked with me to choose a few photos that I truly loved. She was so accommodating and I am SO HAPPY with what I have set up now. Highly recommend this place.

Loved this place so much! I went in for the birthday photo shoot because I saw you could get one picture for free. I am usually pretty uncomfortable showing a lot of skin, but they made me feel so so comfortable! The place was clean, warm, welcoming, and everyone there was a woman. When I first came in they offered me some free wine. During the actual shoot the photographer was lovely! She was professional, knew what she was doing and made sure to ask you first what your comfortable/un-comfortable doing. I came in for just the one photo but ended up purchasing multiple because I loved them so much and they made me feel so good about my body! I really recommend going for anyone who needs a confidence boost, they make you feel amazing! I will definitely be returning for my birthday again next year!

Nuovo's team was amazing, Queen, the makeup artist did an incredible job, I never looked so good ????I fell in love with my photos but my budget was a little tight. The lady helping me chose my photo was so respectful of my financial situation, I felt really confortable throughout the whole experience. Just wanted to share my experience I entered the studio on the promise of the Promotion - Free Photoshoot with 1 Free Souvenir Picture and at the end of the shoot, I felt HIGHLY PRESSURED to buy the pictures. NOTHING is true about their company. I naively trusted what they said about having no obligation and about women's empowerment but THIS IS NOT IT. You are empowered enough, beautiful enough, worthy enough. If you're looking to pay THOUSANDS of dollars for photos that everyone has the same pose of, taken by people who are NOT trained professional photographers then this place is for you (I believe the lady taking my photographs is a make up artist, has NO training in photography and started working there 2 months prior)… Otherwise, STEER CLEAR!!! THERE IS NO FREE OPTION! THIS IS A SCAM! They PRESSURED me to put a deposit down for the photos I NEVER WANTED, which I then emailed to cancel immediately after. Now, they are BULLYING me into accepting photos I do not want and by doing so trying to EXTRACT money which I DID NOT AGREE to paying. A business that does not operate in a manner that is upfront is not worthy of your business. STEER CLEAR.

My sister and I were both blown away by our experience with Nuovo. I originally came across their business when I saw a promotional ad. I put my name in for their promotional photo shoot and was pleasantly surprised by a call from the studio later that day to tell me a bit about it and get booked in. Upon arrival to the studio we felt like we were in NY with a trendy and welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home right away. We got our hair and makeup done and loved our looks! While we were hanging out and getting beautified I felt the most relaxed I have felt in ages. The photo shoot itself was professional and I had confidence that the photographer was directing me into poses that were flattering (down to moving my hair and subtle position changes). The staff was absolutely correct when they told me I would be in love with all the photos. My sister and I had a difficult time narrowing down what to purchase and ended up getting more photos than we expected because they were ALL stunning! This style of photography is unique, flattering and gorgeous and the experience was all around great.

I am so happy with the way the photos turned out they are professionals who know what they are doing. If you want some classy and sexy photos defiantly give this a go. 5 stars are not enough.

5 stars is not nearly enough to express the way I feel after the day that I just had at Nuovo. Jaclyn pampered me with hair and makeup and Lindsay worked her magic behind the camera. I came in with insecurities that feel like are a shadow of who I used to be. I can’t express how genuine, kind and loving this team is. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I highly recommend. Thank you to the Nuovo team for making me feel and look like a true queen. I could cry tears of joy but I wouldn’t want to ruin my makeup ????

So I never would have done this if it weren't for that birthday promotion thing, and I am so glad I did. I definitely thought I'd get the awkward photos over with, get my one free one, hide it somewhere and forget where, and one day my poor grandchildren will stumble on it. That's not what happened at all. The photos were amazing, and that was before it was edited. I sat down in from of the mac and for the first time really appreciated what I saw. Now I'm just showing all my friends my nudes like it's no big thing. I think every woman or any gender in between should get these. Don't worry about doing it when you lose weight! Your body is a work of art no matter what the shape. Everything was comfortable and professional, and also splurge for the make up. 50 bucks is SUCH a steal for what they do. Thank you!

This was the best gift to myself! Never have I felt so comfortable in my own skin. The women who were all part of this process are phenomenal and I can’t express enough how thankful I am of them. I was in love with my hair and makeup, she did such an amazing job. The photographer was such a gem; they were patient, understanding and fun. The photos were amazing and I had a hard time choosing photos to keep. The ladies in the studio are all wonderful, are excited for you, and are passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is so infectious, you can’t help but be excited about the whole process. Overall, it was a very empowering and liberating experience. I think all women should do this. You won’t regret it :)

Such an amazing experience. Walking into the space was wonderful. These ladies create a vibe that is so comfortable. Queen made me look flawless with her makeup skills and hair tools. My photographer was also fantastic. So easy to follow all her instructions and tips to give me those perfect pro poses. Honestly, every pose made me look fabulous. If you haven't been in photoshoot before. Do this first !! They help you get such confidence.
