Well, what can I say? When you have such an important moment to capture, when you have been anticipating "the big day" and are so nervous and wishing so hard you can capture it perfectly, you really wish and hope you make the right choice. We really didn't know what to expect going into the first set of maternity pictures and we were really overwhelmed with the whole process and hoping we get it right. Then we spoke to Cris. Right away one the big day of the shoot we were disarmed of all our fears and we were greeted not just by an amazing person, but an artist of her craft with a great vision . She put our minds at ease right away and added a very natural and fun atmosphere to the whole process. The way she captures the perfect shot, her ideas that brought so much to the day, and her overall expertise made this such an enjoyable experience and a permanent glow to our maternity shoot . The newborn photoshoot we did with Mengatto Photography went above and beyond what we had expected! Cris was so gentle, patient and a pure delight to work with. Our photoshoot unfortunately took way longer than expected because our son kept crying. However, she took her time to make sure our three week old felt comfortable and calm. The pictures really turned out really perfect. She was open-minded about our specific requests and was extremely accommodating. She even provided us with tea and snacks during the shoot. I’ve heard horror stories about other photographers and how they’re very rough and impatient with newborns. Cris was the complete opposite. She was more gentle with my son than I typically am.. I definitely learned a few pointers from her on how to calm a newborn. Great work!

Cris knows how to capture beautiful moments, by making the most the natural background or what you have such as props or toys. She is polite in asking any poses but mostly focuses on natural shots rather than planned poses, which we absolutely loved it. She patiently waited if our baby gets fussy. We ended up making a photo album done by Cris as well. The end results are phenomenal. I can't stop looking at photos and the album she did. She is a fantastic photographer and what a neat experience having a photography session with her.

Cris photographed my husband, eight month old and me for a studio holiday shoot and the pictures turned out so so well. It didn't take too long and Cris made sure she had some great images and helped us relax. She captured beautiful moments unscripted, like some beautiful smiles when I was changing my baby's clothes! She also worked on the images afterwards until we were happy with them, e.g. removing a bit of sunburn and unwanted brand labels. I highly recommend Cris! She was an amazing photographer! I had a maternity and newborn sessions with her. She always made me clear about my questions with the prompt response. My husband and I are satisfied with her wonderful services. We were worried about our session to make it due to COVID-19 but she did her best to make it happened with safety. In the sessions, she made us feel comfortable for some poses in the shoots with great instructions. For the newborn photo session, she had the patience to get the best shots for our newborn during a long photo session. We appreciate her that she was flexible to accept our request to make the memorable photoshoot. Moreover, she served us with wonderful hospitality such as a little snack and tea during the session. We were relaxed and enjoyed watching our newborn be taken photos.
