Like so many engaged couples, COVID-19 threw our wedding plans into disarray. Through the entire process (and especially after our wedding was delayed) Lumina was an absolute pleasure to work with. Expect easygoing interactions with incredibly polished results. I'm very camera shy. I'm not comfortable having my picture taken, let alone having a videographer follow me around. Going in to the wedding planning process, I expected that the most difficult aspect would be dealing with the photography/videography. I dreaded it, to be honest. From the first meeting through the final edits, Lumina we're willing to work around my concerns. Their team made it clear that their priority was to make sure I enjoyed our wedding first and foremost. Having seen the end results, I honestly don't know how they managed to capture everything they did because they seemed invisible on the day. That being said, Lumina truly went above and beyond during the months our wedding was delayed. Their connections in Vancouver's wedding industry proved invaluable while we were rescheduling with our various vendors. If your event needs photos/video, stop your search now. 10/10

I CAN’T GET OVER IT. Lumina created the most perfect & insanely beautiful wedding video for my wife & I ???????? We first came across Lumina from a friends recommendation & do yourself a favour- check out their highlight videos. You can already tell the quality & professionalism is in their work. We had a face to face meeting with Chris & stayed in contact till the big day. The day of, Chris’s videographers we’re extremely professional. Not only masters of their own craft but fun & friendly. It made us feel comfortable with being natural and ourselves on camera as these guys specialise in capturing the most natural of reactions & events on your wedding day. Our wedding video truly makes us relive that beautiful day & I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve watched it over 20 times & still notice so many different things my mind can’t capture in just 1 play. If you’re reading this, don’t mess around trying to find a cheap videographer for your big day. Do it right. We’ve obtained a beautiful memory we will forever cherish & one day show our own children. What an amazing team!!! We had the opportunity and pleasure of working with Lumina for our elopement and could not be happier! From the moment we booked Lumina, Krista was responsive, detailed and excited to be a part of our day. Lumina gave us lots of options on music choice and helped us with an outline of how our final video could look before it was even the elopement day. Their ability to tell a story, mix in music and get the incredible shots for our wedding were great. I can only imagine if we had the opportunity to have a full wedding what exciting shots they would have got! While they were really visible when we arrived it was crazy to see their stealth like skills and not even notice them filming us during the ceremony. I say that in the best possible way. Especially after seeing the final video and all the shots they got where we didn't even see them. Krista and her team were friendly on the day of the wedding not only to us but our guests and most of all really really helped 'direct' us for the best shots. We approached Lumina Wedding for our maternity photoshoot to see if they had any recommendations and were delighted they were willing to do them for us as we had no idea they offered this service. In comparison to others in the market, they offered more photos (all photos) for the same duration of photoshoot. We are also not people who are good at posing for photos and were so happy to get the direction and feedback during the shoot. The photos were edited and delivered quickly and were exactly what we were hoping for! We worked with Krista on our wedding and for both life events (baby and wedding), she really came through for us. Thank you so much for helping us capture this special time in our lives!

I can’t begin to thank Lumina Weddings and Events for capturing our elopement ceremony incredibly which was the most important thing to us since we had no guests attend our wedding. I still can’t get over how much fun we had with them and at how well the day went. They have the most amazing team. Working with Krista was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The whole wedding planning process was so easy. She was always responsive, thorough and helpful. Anytime I had an idea, I would text her and she quickly responded and made sure it was incorporated on the day. On the day of our ceremony, she helped with coordinating to make sure the day went smoothly. Their videographer and photographer - just amazing! The videographer was able to take such great videos that highlighted everything we wanted to be in the video. The photographer was so helpful with telling us what to do and how to pose to get the amazing shots. Then the editor was able to put together a perfectly told story for the video. They literally brought our vision to life. Their team was so caring and friendly. Krista and the team would help with holding anything we needed to get the perfect shots. Krista also held my train, without me asking, so that my dress wouldn’t get dirty! They were all so super sweet! We didn’t even feel like we were shooting a video and taking photos. Both my husband and I have done photoshoots before and it felt like work, but we had SO much fun with the team. Everyone we shared the video with was in awe. Everyone we shared the teaser photos were obsessed. I am SO happy I went with them for our special day. They exceeded my expectations. I would 1000 percent recommend them and use them again for any more special events we have in the future! Thank you so much Lumina!

I booked Lumina for my wedding. First of all the owners are amazing people to deal with. They Always pick up the phone when you call. Always responsive to your questions via email etc. After a year of planning over phone, email etc when the day came and I met them on my wedding I felt like we were friends. Like I had known them for years. They made my day everything I wanted. They were so accommodating with everything going on especially when I was planning a wedding during a pandemic.
