Extremely expensive, they will not go through the packages before the photo session. We went there for one family photo that was a gift for Christmas, but we wanted a few more of the family well we where there. She mainly took pictures of the baby but not the rest of the family. For two canvas prints, and one metal plate print, plus a digital copy cost over $600. If we would have known we would pick the package with a digital copy we would have got more photos taken with individual people in our session. Took over three weeks for our digital copy. That we did not get on disk. They only emailed it to us. And over a month for the prints. Extremely disappointing, they also could have edit them better. So we had to pay extra for additional prints, cost us over $700. We will never go to this place again.

Me and my wife won a free photo shoot here can’t complain, The Bay gave it out last year for Christmas when we walked in (Not buying anything lol) and for a small price they put it on a disk for us as well...well not so small lol

I recently had a family photo session with my mom and siblings because of a discount coupon i won at The Hudsons Bay. The Photographer we had named Cindy was wonderful! She did a fun variety of shots, was friendly and professional. The photo session didn’t take long at all but at the same time we didn’t feel it was rushed. She made sure we all looked good with our poses before taking each shot and got us to adjust anything on us that was out of place ( which i really appreciated!) I found the price of the digital photos to be a bit pricy but Cindy did such a great job that it was worth it. If it wasn’t for the great photographer we had id probably wouldn’t have gotten the digital. If you do go to this studio id recommend Cindy ( or i think her full name is Casandra but goes by Cindy) She really made it a memorable experience. They’re lucky to have her as a part of their team, she clearly has a passion for her work and its refreshing to see Hope this review was helpful =)

Won a $20 print as part of a promotion in The Bay. Went with my fiancee to take some couples photos. After the shoot they do the hard sell. Few hundred dollors for a few nice prints. It would have been nice if they charged a smaller fee to get acsess to digital copies of the RAW photos. It seems like they arentrowing away a ton of money holding thease photos hostsge to inevitably throw them away as opposed to selling the photos for a profit. This would leave the option to get the photos printed out another time open. We kindly stuck with the $20 photo we won. It took about a month. When the photo was ready they called my partner 5 times in a row while she was working without leaving a message. Upon my fiancee answering the phone to politely ask she stop being spammed, the lady on the other end was apparently quite rude. It was incredibly frustrating. It would atleast br nice if they texted, left a voicemail etc.

INCREDIBLE offsite group photo session with Cindy and her team! If I could give more stars I would!! Cindy came to the photo location of my choosing. We arrived earlier than planned and I was surprised to see Cindy and her assistant already there scoping out the place and planning photos. We are a family/group of 7 and Cindy was able to capture every shot we all wanted. She was so creative and quick to come up with unique and touching poses and always paid close attention to detail when anyone wasn’t smiling, our wardrobes/hair needed adjustment, etc. She went out of her way to capture photos we all loved, we wanted all of them!!! I can’t thank you enough Cindy for all of the touching moments that will last a lifetime!! You won’t be disappointed with Snap Photo Studio!!

Ridiculous experience, they did my passport photo for a visa and it was rejected. I wasn’t refunded either.

Our photographer and photos turned out great.. however, studio staff/editor lack professionalism. I waited half an hour after my appointment time to view my photos. She never sent me my digital photos until I followed up after a few weeks. It also took them another three weeks to inform me that the frames that I had selected was on back order. We shot the photos in October.. I won't be receiving my prints until after the new year.

We went for a photography session and even though it cost us several hundreds of dollars, they’ve ruined the shots. A terrible photo editing skill. My eyes are deformed, reflex in glasses, etc. They’ve basically copy/pasted parts of my face rather than editing… a five year old kid would do a better job working with Photoshop… Would never recommend it to anyone…

Took a little bit to get after the inital shoot but they made up for it!! Looking forward to going back. Lady running it is very nice and accommodating.

We had the worst experience here! The lady was extremely unprofessional and we ended up waiting half an hour to pick up our prints. It seems that it was a waste of time because the photos that were printed were unedited, and the quality was extremely poor. It felt like a picture taken with an iPhone 3 or something. Lighting and angles were all wrong, would not recommend this place. It’s very expensive here so don’t waste your money on their poor quality photos. The people working there are probably not even real photographers.

Photos are absolutely beautiful and we will treasure them. Our photographer was lovely and was amazing it posing us and keeping our 1 year old happy. The downside was that they refuse to provide any pricing/package information upfront. When I asked over the phone, she wouldn't even give me a ballpark and said "they work hard to fit with every budget". They won't even tell you anything until after photos are taken and you've picked out your favorites. Definitely high pressure sales tactics. When I told her our budget, she let us know we really couldn't get anything for that. The prices are expensive but probably comparable to most private photographers in the area. I think photography is just expensive in general -I know a lot goes into it so I understand. While many photographers don't include prices on their websites, wthey will certainly let you know what they charge in advance. Getting an entire family dressed, ready and out the door is a lot of work so it's definitely better to do it this way to not waste anyone's time. Overall, I probably will go elsewhere in the future as the lack of pricing communication and high pressure sales tactics are not a good fit for me. Really is unfortunate as we loved the photos!

We waited 30 mins to even see someone come out of the back of the studio and discovered while we were waiting that the other people in the waiting room had the same appointment time as us. when we finally got in for the photos the photographer did a poor job of arranging my children for the shots. I basically told the kids where and how to stand. The total time spent photographing the kids was 10 mins. We then waited another 10 minutes to find out that it would cost well over $600 for a few images. We were assured that it was worth the money because the photos would be edited. However, the only editing required was to remove the props that the photographer didn't move out the of way of the shot. I have never been more disappointed with a photography experience. Please don't waste your time on this business.

Long wait time for photos even with an appointment. Photographer rushed us when taking photos. Took another customer after (most likely a walk-in) and had to wait long again to select our photos. Rushed us through selection of photos, didn't get enough time - didn't get our selections right. Took 3 weeks get our digitals and took 6 weeks to get our prints. They printed the wrong ones and didn't crop them as requested. Took long to respond to calls and emails. Extremely unprofessional and not good customer service. Had a bad experience.

Never seen such a weak editing skills. Each eye has a different size and it is noticeable in the print he gave us. Cannot put that pic on a wall. Total waste of time and MONEY.

It seems everyone wins a voucher then you have to pay hundreds of dollars for the digital pictures. The pictures are mediocre at best, their editing skills are so so poor.Do not waste your time with this business.

I received a voucher to use here back in August. When I asked for a range of pricing they said it was very custom but I booked in for a family Christmas photo session anyways to receive the free print. The session went great, the photographer was amazing. Afterwards she sat with us and went through our photos to help us choose our favourites. The only thing I was disappointed with was their prices. They were far too expensive for our budget so we did not purchase any of our photos sadly, but it was still fun and we enjoyed our experience.
