After seeing many had good experience, I have to write this with hard heart. I went one summer to trade in my equipment, they offered very low value although also advised that I sell privately. Anyway I asked about their used equipment (camera body and lens), all they could provide is cost and barely discuss or not even show the items. 2nd time, I tried recently to contact them via email regarding getting my camera serviced; no response came and so I went there in person after a few days. They seemed super busy, and so was asked to wait, almost 20mins later I tell them issue, and it was almost like they had no interest in repair service. Though they agreed to keep the body for diagnosis and advise if it will be repaired. on third day I called, and they had not even looked at it, not to mention to send it for repair. I asked why so long and their response is they are too busy and thought I was not in a rush. I went next day and got my stuff back. 30mins drive was waste of my gas and time. In conclusion, if you are busy to point that you can't handle customers, then hire help. and secondly they need to get professional customer service and anger management training.

I got a quote of D850 from BJ that no one can match locally, that make me nervous, thinking of bait and switch online store or the camera could be a gray market one. After carefully confirm it in email and ordered. Turn out very positive. The camera is Canada version (by Serial# starting 5xxxxxx) , brand new un-open with all accessories, arrived on time. Check shutter count = 1. Great purchase experience and good services, best price. I will do business again

I recently ordered a Lumix G85 from here, initially ordering a new one in a bundle with kit lens and SD Card. I was emailed right away after placing the order, and was told that they were currently sold out of the new camera bundles. But, they had a used G85 with the kit lens in very good condition that they would offer me at a very good price. I went ahead with the order, and the staff updated the firmware on both the body and the lens, they cleaned the sensor, and expedited the shipping. I received the camera the next day after it shipped, and they included an 64gb SD card at no extra charge. This really went above and beyond with customer service, and they were amazing to deal with as they answered all my questions promptly. I would highly recommend BJ Photo Labs!!

I'm pretty sure he believes in karma and it shows by the way he treats everyone. Highly recommend this store from the seasoned pro to the beginner.

I love this store. The owners a extremely nice and knowledgeable. They do not push you into sales and will spend time chatting with you. They are one of the few mom and pop shops who do not charge exorbitant just because they are a family business and not a chain. Everything I can purchase there, I plan to. Its a shame I only recently discovered them.

I contacted BJ Photo Labs via email on June 4th to inquire about the price and availability of a camera lens I intended to purchase that day. I asked several simple questions such as the price, whether or not the item was currently in stock, and whether or not this particular store has a trade-in program for pre-owned camera gear. After following up several times and asking for a price quote on the particular lens I was interested in purchasing, I have yet to received a response from the store. I am not sure why, 26 days later, I have not been able to receive a response from the staff member I was I contact with initially but for obvious reasons I have now purchased the lens at Henry’s instead. I always try my best to support local businesses, especially during these rather difficult economic times, but there is a limit to how much poor quality customer service I am able to tolerate before choosing to spend my money elsewhere. I ended up spending upwards of $3000 with the friendly staff at Henry’s who were polite enough to answer my questions in a timely manner. This interaction only lasted 25 minutes, as compared to the month-long struggle I have had with BJ Photo Labs. I was not the slightest bit impressed with this business and will not recommend it to any of my colleagues, employers, or friends.

I bought it online and they processed and delivered it within a week, even though I live on the opposite side of Canada (in Vancouver, B.C). Not only was the camera extremely securely packed and their service very prompt, but they also gave me a free filter, to protect my camera's lens, which was much appreciated! While all other self help printing services like Walmart, Staples failed, the folks at BJ photo labs were able to take care of this in no time at all. The staff is kind and cordial. Was impressed by their collection of photo and videography equipments while I was waiting for my photo to be delivered. Must visit for any professional or photography enthusiasts.

I have always gotten a good deal here on camera gear I think because they are a smaller shop they are a little bit more aggressive price wise and their service is always been very good to me they are very pleasant to deal with and I would definitely shop here again. I stopped in this past January to check into a Pro upgrade. I was looking at the Nikon D750. After talking with Abdul on the phone I was quite pleased with his demeanor and level of expertise. I ended up walking out with an AMAZING deal on a D810 instead. Couldn't be happier with the product and the second to none level of client care. This is the place to go if you want to be taken care of. Best PRO photography store in a 50km radius at the very least. This is my new GO TO STORE and it should be yours too. I came all the way from Toronto to buy a FujiFilm X-T2. I gotta say, they make you feel like you chose the right place. Great service, great pricing (beats Henry's and others by a long mile) and they were willing to hold the X-T2 for an entire week even though I'm sure they got lots of calls for it since it's the most popular camera at the moment. I will come back here to buy all my lenses and other equipment in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough

Only go here to make use of my disposable camera, always so fast and effecient. Reading other reviews clearly one bad experience sends everyone over edge but they're ethnicity doesn't matter. The staff are all so sweet and very well informed. The turn over for disposables are within a week and they call and hold until pick up. Almost a year of me going here and nothing but nice things to say. Also cheaper than most places
