When I got engaged there was no question who I was going to ask to be my photographer. David is flexible, creative and great to work with. My step brother paid 500 as a deposit and he flaked off didn't answer his phone or any communication attempts were pointless I am very unhappy with his work. I would not trust him for my wedding.

We hired David to photograph our small intimate wedding (20 people). We weren’t initially planning on doing an engagement shoot but we are happy we did. Neither one of us enjoys being the center of attention. The engagement shoot gave us a chance to get to know David a bit and become more comfortable in front of the camera. He is very laid back, easy to work with and punctual. On the big day, David did a great job of capturing both formal shots and candid moments throughout the day. Most importantly, he sent us all of our photos less than two weeks after the wedding!

We hired David for our wedding on July 14th, 2018 in Toronto, and we loved him! He was very flexible in meeting our needs, and was super friendly throughout the entire process. I initially sought him out because I fell in love with the photos on his Instagram @davidiam, and I wanted photos just like those. I was not disappointed! David made the process of taking photos fun and enjoyable, and that is evident through the genuine smiles on the faces of everyone in them. He took $500.00 from me and my fiancé and when we went to book our engagement photos he went incognito. We called emailed and eventually we had to send a certified letter in the mail before we could get a hold of him again. Even then we weren’t able to get a booking For our photos or any date further. I’ve even heard from a Wedding coordinator That the bride didn’t think he was going to show up on her special day. Wish I could give him -500 stars because he took our money and never provided us with the service he promised. Be wary as this guy is a thief, As even when we tried to get our deposit back he went silent again

David took wonderful photos and created a fantastic video for us. The day of the wedding he interacted with the guests, made us feel comfortable, and took the time to ensure we got photos throughout the night. We are very pleased with his work. The only reason he received 2 stars rather than 5 is his communication skills did not match up with our expectations. After not hearing from him after our wedding in July, I left a 1 star review in February. He finally responded, quite upset about the review. He agreed to send our photos “again” if I took down the review. We never received them in the first place, and he had no receipt to prove that he had sent them. I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to any other customer.

David seemed cooperative at the beginning of our conversations but was completely uncommunicative for over a month. I tried leaving voicemails, facebook messages, instagram and 2 different email addresses. At first, we thought he was on a long vacation but no. He just refused to contact us. We were ready to book him to photograph our wedding, and not being able to communicate with him for so long, caused undue stress. Be wary.

David was an excellent photographer. We searched around quite a bit: online, at wedding shows, through referral lists. We had contact with a number of other individuals, who were all more expensive, less accommodating, and had more restrictive rules regarding family taking photos at the venue. We felt good about going with David because he made us feel comfortable, but then when we had our first shoot we really realized we had made an excellent choice. He was open to our ideas, wanted feedback, showed us the pictures during the shoot to see what we liked, and was very personable. He had our photos back quick as well. Then our wedding came, which he had to travel to from out of town, and he was the same easy-going excellent photographer. Everyone was very pleased not only with the finished product, but how well he got along with everyone throughout the night. We got everything we wanted, our photos are amazing, and it was a great experience. David is a great photographer who is easygoing and I could not recommend him more highly.
