Curbside pickup at this time due to covid.. I found the website a little awkward but found what I was looking for.. so called to verify that the lens was in stock.. was met at door for payment.. I thought email or phone follow-up would have been warranted but no issues with product. Rather purchase locally when the price was similar.

Seemed like a good store for photography. Lots to look at, lots of frames, camera parts and accessories. Nice to have something like this local to Woodstock. To correct Murray Walz' review, there are other places in Woodstock to get your passport photo done. We do ours at Shoppers only a few blocks away from Carman's (While I can't vouch for Murray's story, Shoppers screwed up as well but re-took the photo for free.)

Miracle workers! Had to get 12 certificates framed for an event in less than 3 business days, as per a last-minute request - Carman's pulled it off when all other framing businesses said it couldn't be done! The prices were fair and as noted, the service was incredible. Would highly recommend and will be our first choice for any future photo/framing needs.

I use to deal with these folks many years ago before digital. About a month ago we visited my Mother in law and my wife and her mom were both dressed in identical colours and with the perfect lighting, I was able to get a fantastic shot of the two of them. Just a couple days ago I was in Mitton Village and I went in to get the picture off my phone. I got two great 5×7 inch colour pictures. As usual, they did a perfect job on the picture which I picked up the following day. The people there are the same cordial, helpful folks that helped me years ago. It truly is great to see great helpful, caring people still succeeding. They sell all types of camera gear, picture frames and countless accessories.

I went to get passport photos—trying to support locally owned businesses. There’s no mirror to ensure that you look tidy before your picture, nor do you get to see it before it’s printed. I paid $22 and the photo they took was horrible. I had mascara smudged on my face from winter weather and they didn’t bother to advise me before the photo was taken. Shoppers Drug Mart did a retake for me— 100 times better quality and customer service. Plus, they were at least friendly at Shoppers. I won’t be returning to this store.

My Husband and I were there today. THE male at the register was ringing the only customer through. That person left.....we waited to be acknowledged. We browsed for a bit. WE WERE NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED. No hello.....no Be with you in a moment folks.....nothing.....the man just stayed at the cash register oblivious to the fact that we were customers. We left. If we have to drive to a bigger center where we will get proper customer service...we will.
